Yesterday, I needed a taxi to pick me up at the Port Jervis train station (after travelling up from NYC) to Narrowsburg, NY; a town about 40 minutes drive away. Used McCormicks taxi service for the first time, and was very impressed and pleased! It is a family-owned business, and my driver, Danielle (sp?) is also an owner, with her husband. From "first contact" on the phone, through pickup and the drive to my destination, Danielle was wonderful: pleasant and helpful on the phone, arrived on time, her car (Prius Hybrid--an environmental bonus!) was clean and comfortable and we had a very pleasant, chatty drive up to Narrowsburg! Price was reasonable for the area and distance, even though outside of their usual boundaries of both distace and later hour. Only downside is that they don't work on Sundays, which is a time many people head home by train. I highly recommdend this service, and will use them again next I need a taxi! read more

I was very impressed by their kindness and professionalism and their ability to accommodate me. Danielle and her husband are exceptional. When I told her that I was visiting from NJ and ended up having to stay overnight due to the train schedule, she not only drove me to couple of different locations, it was also complimentary although I insisted on paying for the ride, she refused to accept the payment. I had a great experience with McCormick's Taxi Service! I needed a very early morning ride from my camp to the Port Jervis train station, and everything went perfectly. Last week, My mother's husband was in the hospital. She can not drive any more and had no way to bring clothes for her husband. I tried and tried for hours with Uber to pickup a package of clothes from my my mother's house and drop it off at the hospital. (No driver available, try again later). So I called McCormick's Taxi Service and asked if they would pick up a package and bring it to the hospital. Danyiel answered and she said would be glad to help. They know their customers by name and are extremely reliable, well priced, with safe drivers, friendly service and just overall a great experience from start to finish!
