Her cabinets had what I would describe as a subtle pink hue to them and therefore it was very difficult to find flooring that both contrasted and toned down the subtle pink hue. After 3 trips to and from the store I had found the winner. I was a little dissapointed that the install date was about a month out but at the same time the need for expeediency was mine, and not their fault. That said the two sales people I interacted with were the absolute best. I could not have asked for better help. The install guy, Oscar, was fantastic with communication. He was able to handle add ons with ease and called to verify specifics during the install, rather than just assume like some companies do. He called me and asked me directly, and I sincerely appreciate that. Not only that, but the two last minute necessary add ons did not raise the bill substantially like it might at some other places. Their prices were fair and I feel like I got a good deal, especially given what I percieve to be the high quality of both the product and the installation. I would absolutely use them again for future projects!

The pattern layout was perfect and I highly recommend him. We couldn't be happier with the end result. I deal with a lot of home improvement vendors throughout the Bay Area because of my line of work. I really want to give a special shout out to Vahn Manuel, one of the flooring consultants, and Elias Dayeh, one of the in home sales consultant. Elias came to my home and was able to create a floor plan, go through the pricing with me, listened to all of my questions and concerns, and gave me a VERY reasonable quote. While I never met Vahn, he made sure I was taken care of! He has been responsive and easy to speak with over the phone and email. He and Elias both helped me get the information I needed to also submit an HOA application quickly to get approved to replace the carpet. After the carpet was placed, I did notice a very small black stain. I almost missed it, but once I knew it's there my eyes were always drawn. I felt bad reaching out to Vahn about this one small stain but he reassured me that it's their responsibility to fix it and will send someone over. Overall I'm very happy with this project, would recommend S&G Carpet :)

I have called the sales persons 4 times and spoke with Victoria, the "manager" once. She says she'll help but doesn't even respond. Another salesperson states I need to contact customer service but they don't answer the phone or call back either. I am at wits end rn. The floor is mostly laid but missing 1 box. I have a deadline of June 30 which is long passed now. On another note, my last purchase at S&G came in on time but the S&G installation was a fiasco. I swore i'd never go back. I didn't listen myself because this was just an order pick up. Apparently they can't do that either.

Nice people but I couldn't figure out how they come up with that price. I came across this yelp reviews and took a chance. I figured can't possibly be any worse. Mr. Kim responded immediately and we made an appt for the next day. He had Manuel came to see what needed to be done and he said no problem. He even said he was available the next day which was crazy, because we still needed to move our stuff out of the rooms. Mr. Kim came back with such a reasonable price for the job. Before they came we moved what we can, left the big items like beds, sofa, piano, shelving and futon. They said no problem. The day of work Manuel came with another worker, they took off their shoes and right to work. He had estimated 4 hours and sure enough he was done around 4 hours. Mind you we moved 90% of the stuff from the carpeting. I am so glad to have found them. I hope they continue to be in business, if I need any carpeting job I'll definitely call them back.

The first was about ten years ago for another portion of our house, and once again they did an outstanding job. They were helpful in selecting a flooring pattern that matched our previously installed floors, and the estimating and scheduling process was straightforward and easy. The installation crew paid close attention to detail, and you can tell from the work around corners, transitions, and trim that they take pride in their craftsmanship and quality. We also appreciated how transparent they were regarding areas where our subfloor was uneven (which we knew would be a problem going into the job). They assessed the condition, explained the available options, and then corrected the subfloor so the planks could be installed the right way. Having a section of our hallway flat when it's been uneven for years has been a great bonus. It's reassuring to know a company like this exists in Concord. Fleury's is the only place I would use for flooring in the future.

Fast forward to present day and time to replace 30yr old original carpeting upstairs. Because our prior experience with Fleury's went so well, naturally we returned to them for phase 2. I started with Chris at the store to present the project and he made suggestions for makers and brands to best match the Brazilian Cherry we had downstairs. Patrick was up next with onsite inspection, measurements, and bringing over samples. A complementary (and upgraded) product was chosen and install timeline was set. Javier and Kiko were next on the scene and took only 5 days to demo carpet, prep and level subfloor, and install flooring and baseboards in 4 bedrooms and a hallway. Patrick came by a couple times to check on progress and made a great suggestion to add additional underlayment. That - combined with their tried and proven method of gluing and nailing down the floor - made for the most solid-feeling hardware floor installation I've ever encountered. I'm a pretty picky customer, so when I tell you their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and finish skills are top notch - believe it. Prices and labor these days are pretty much standard all around. But if you receive this level of workmanship and flawless results, you sleep better knowing you made the right decision. Can't say enough about my experience with Fleury's. 10/10

For my Danville home - I had hideous colored concrete floor for the Italian/Mediterranean home. I upgraded/renovated and had Enrique's Tile install travertine. I love marble but the maintenance is just too much (3 teenagers and 2 cats) unlike the travertine. Still beautiful, natural stone but less maintenance. I will gladly recommend Enrique's Tile; will use again for future projects.

We just got out floors done via McCurley's San Ramon and I have to say they did an amazing job!Right from the selection of floors to the installation -Mc Curley's made the entire process a breeze.Daniel at the showroom at Crow Canyon was probably the best floor advisor I have ever spoken to.To be honest,if it wasn't for Daniel and the service of the front desk we would have easily walked away.We were after all only beginning to scout for floor installers.Every question was answered in detail.Finally after we made the selection, Ray from the center visited our house to take measurements and gave us an accurate estimate.The wood was delivered on Tuesday and the job was completed on Saturday.I have to mention the two men who actually did the physical work of installing the floors.These guys have been with Mc Curley's for years and I found them to be very sincere and passionate about their work.Particularly David was very focused.They would come at 9am sharp and leave at 6 in the evening.Overall a very happy customer.We have two more rooms to finish up.Will go back to them when budget permits! I just had luxury vinyl flooring installed in my Walnut Creek condo by McCurley's Floor Center. The process entailed several steps: choosing color and style, pricing comparisons, contract-signing, permissions from my condo association, as well as removal of old carpeting and floor prepping. In addition I had to figure out how to access my condo during installation. I am amazed at how smoothly it went. Ray, my contact at McCurley's, was an incredibly helpful guide and expediter of whole process (including supplying necessary data to my condo association). The McCurley installation crew, headed by Guillermo Vasquez and comprised of extremely talented craftsmen, executed the job in record time (3 days). Because of the way they sequenced the work, I never lost access to my kitchen, bathroom, or bedroom. (Incidentally, I felt perfectly comfortable coming and going while they worked.) Afterward, they helped me place new area rugs before they moved the heavy furniture back. The floors are gorgeous (and were reasonably-priced). I couldn't be happier. read more

I initially contacted McCurley's based upon recommendations from friends. After receiving multiple bids, I chose them to install hardwood floors throughout my first floor, based upon those references. I was not disappointed. I've experienced the stress and anxiety associated with a remodel. I did not experience that stress with McCurleys. Expectations re process and timing were established prior to the start of the project- and were met. They were attentive to all inquiries at all stages of the installation. Most importantly, the quality of workmanship is unsurpassed. The crew was respectful of my possessions (and my pets), attentive to my living needs, and, oh so talented. These guys are fantastic. I received bids from 4 others before deciding on McCurleys. Price from all companies was pretty much in line with one another but where McCurleys really stood above the rest was their ability to offer the entire package. We had engineered hard wood installed over a slab. From the demolition of existing laminate, carpet and tile, to professional application of a moisure seal to the instalaltion of the floor. The professional support and direction from Casey throughout the process was very reassuring as was the quality of work performed by George and his crew. The alignment of the base boards, the detail around the stairs and fireplace are fantastic. I first used McCurley's upon the recommendation of a friend when I had a flood at my home. Oscar came out and gave me a quote and worked with the time schedule of the clean up crew and Alex was the best carpet installer who did a beautiful job on a very tight, curved staircase. When we moved, we used Ray for an estimate and he was very efficient, showed up for appointments as promised and the pricing was great! We had tight time frames with contractors and McCurleys handled it with ease! I have now used them for a rental unit and they again provided excellent service! I am a Gerneal Contractor who bought wood flooring from these guys who promised one product & then delivered another. They Coaxed my wife and I into believing that we were recieving a superior product, however they absolutely intentional lied to us. They promised that our flooring would look exactly like what they had shown us in their show room, however once we received it, it looked nothing like it. And I speak from experience, as my expertise is carpentry. We tried to take it back, however they would not let us return it, leaving my wife and I out a couple of thousand of dollars. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I will never allow any of my customers to even look at their show room for fear that they too will be deceived. read more

I was visiting a friend of mine about three months ago, after her remodel. The remodel was beautiful, and most impressive was the hardwood flooring. I asked her who did her floors and she said McCurleys. Last week, McCurleys just finished installation of hardwood in most areas of our house. We are completely satisfied, the price point was lower than other company's we looked at as well as the quality of flooring and the staff at McCurley's were really good at helping us get what we need. I own and operate a luxury apartment building in Oakland. Over a 30+ year career I have rehabbed many apartment complexes. My previous flooring vendor had gotten careless and I tried several before making McCurley's my carpet vendor. That was in 1999! I cannot believe the reviews I have read here! Quality, service and good business practice is all I have ever experienced with this company. The store staff were super helpful locating wood flooring for two rooms to match flooring in adjoining rooms we had installed five years ago after two other stores told us we were out of luck. Then the install crew did an excellent job. Taking out and removing carpeting (and hauling it away) then laying the new floor. Communication from day one of the in-store sale throughout the install was excellent. The price was very reasonable too. Ray is the man! Found a wood I really liked and like the cheap a$$ I am, called around and priced shopped it. Somehow stumbled upon this store 45 minutes away from me, but over $1000 less than the jacked up prices in San Francisco. So worth the drive. The old shower was typical builder grade materials that had not aged well over 14 years, yet the remainder of the bathroom was still in fine shape. Our biggest concern was that contractors would only want to take on a large job (i.e. the whole bathroom) instead of our focused upgrade. We checked numerous other local tile and design shops including the big box stores and just didn't get a great vibe from any of them until we went to The Tile Outlet. We had a pretty specific color/design in mind so didn't need a lot of hand holding, and Rae and Jenna were very helpful from the start in steering us towards what fit our ideas. We ultimately settled on 12x24" tiles for the shower wall, 2x2" mosaics for the floor and shampoo niche, as well as new hardware and glass shower enclosure. We had also decided our shower enclosure would be changing from a dated round glass edge to a straight corner which would necessitate some minor shower footprint changes. We ordered all of our material and it was delivered within a week. Best of all, we discovered that although The Tile Outlet does not have its own installers, it does work with a core group of several contractors and could make a recommendation. We were referred to Alberto Carbajal and could not have been happier. He was super responsive with all communications and provided an upfront estimate for the installation (plus additional supplies as needed). In the end, he and his crew finished the shower in just 7 full work days. They were super neat and respectful to the rest of our home and kept the disruption to a minimum. We are so impressed with the finished product, especially the craftsmanship at all the seams with the tile edge trim which gave it a neat, modern feel. We would not hesitate to use The Tile Outlet again or refer friends and family!

From the very beginning, they were professional, organized, and incredibly patient. After the flooring was delivered, I realized it wasn't the right choice for the space. I was honestly nervous to speak up, but they immediately reassured me and didn't make me feel rushed or difficult at all. Instead, they encouraged me to take my time. I spent a full week reviewing additional samples in my home until I found the perfect one, and they supported me through that entire process with total grace. What really stood out is that they went a step further -- they actually reached out to past clients here in Brentwood who had similar flooring and scheduled times for me to go into their homes and see the floors in real life. That level of trust and relationship with their clients speaks volumes. The demo was handled efficiently and cleanly, and they coordinated seamlessly with other projects happening in the home (painting, cabinet work, furniture timing). The installation itself is beautiful -- They also went above and beyond in ways that weren't even part of their scope. After demo, they fixed a squeak in our stairs -- something they didn't have to do, but took care of anyway. It's those little things that show the kind of team they are. Every day, they left the job site -- my home -- clean and organized. The owners were incredible, and the entire team truly shines in their individual roles. You can tell they take pride in their work and in the experience they provide. This was a big project, and they handled every step with care, professionalism, and attention to detail. The end result completely transformed our home. I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them.

I started my research a few months prior to getting my keys to the new construction home. I couldn't even see my stairs with the hardwood completed. All I had were the hardwood samples as reference. Amanda is truly a white glove service. While other floor companies were more concerned of measurements and just providing me a price of what the work would cost, Amanda had a full picture approach. She has the best communication even over txt. I'm a mom of 2 under 6 yr old and it's quite difficult for me to pick up the phone so txting is by far my communication of choice. Her goal was to ensure I would love the product even if I was just purchasing material from her. I went to her sample store to check out her products and she helped me find a few samples that could be a potential fit and I'm thrilled that we found the absolute perfect product! Her store has hardwood, lvp, laminate and carpet to choose from. I ordered lvp, carpet and carpet padding from her. Fairly fast shipping. She ensured smooth pick up from her warehouse. All their products really elevated my home and the hardwood to lvp-SEAMLESS!!! I would highly recommend Latta floors with your needs especially if you're a burnt out mom with kids.
