This McDonald's, which sits just off of 75 in Acworth, has become a consistent spot for me on my way out of Acworth before hitting the road back north. It is your standard McDonald's location from inside out. I have utilized drive thru, inside kiosks and counter service. Drive thru is always preference, but popping inside isn't the worst. The store is well kept conditionally and clean for the most part. The men's restroom is hit and miss, but never awful. Service is always decent and consistent from drive thru to inside counter service. Food is what you expect. Which I guess is a good thing. My only gripe is I have gotten saggy fries from here on more than one occasion. Not a fan...I want them bad boys crisp and hot! Breakfast is always on point, so maybe I just need to time my trips here before 10:30 AM. Overall, standard McDonald's location with no major issues. read more

Solid McDonald's. My food has always been hot/fresh. The fries are on point when I've ordered here. I'm expecting a quick and "cheap" eat and they've delivered each time one expectation. Don't sleep on Mickey D's breakfast. We woke up and planned a visit to a friend and were hungry. We didn't plan ahead and so found this McDonald's off the highway. The young lady who took our order was kind, patient, and friendly. Then, the worker who handed us our food on our way was super polite. I felt really good about visiting this McDonalds and saw lots of people inside eating. There was a huge play area for kids so family friendly for sure. I ordered a chicken biscuit which was very tasty. The biscuit tasted like it was from the south. Fluffy, warm, and filing. Would certainly return to this location for breakfast. read more

This is by far one of the best McDonalds in the Atlanta area. Order is always correct, drive through effecient and the staff has great attitudes. Most recently we had the pleasure of working with Q. He was pleasent and the order was correct. Went out of his way to ensure my mom's special request was followed through. It wasn't just him though, it was the team. From ordering at the speaker, to the gentleman at the pay window, to the follow through to ensure the order WAS exactly what was requested. It was a beautiful example of a team, proper staffing and great culture within the location. When I dine in, the faciltiy is clean and my kids love the playground. Even with the digital ordering this location still provides hospitality. For years I avoided McDonalds because my orders were wrong (modification not followed through) or items missing. Since moving to the area in 2021 I have not had a bad experience at this location. Keep up the great work. read more

Re writing review, accidently hit the wrong store the other day. 3 times now why does it take 25+ minutes to get my app order when I just watched someone park 5 minutes after I put in my order. 55 minutes to get an ice cream cone. We went there at just after 11pm a few nights ago to get an ice cream cone. Their dining room is closed (so only drive through customers) and we got in line only 6-7 cars behind the ordering console. We got kinda trapped in the line so couldn't get out and we were just chatting but it took 55 minutes to get through and actually leave. I mean..Wow..that's bad. I asked the employee at the payment window if it's always this bad late at night and he said Yes, it always is. So I have no idea if it's only that one guy working alone running from the cash register to the fry machine to the order headset or if the other employees are just playing poker in the back room, but I'd recommend going anywhere else if you want a late night ice cream cone...unless you enjoy watching a nice sunrise while still waiting in line. :) read more

I like McDonald's. I would think that after so many years in business the franchises would be more consistent but they are not. When you visit a McDonald's that is "new to you" you have no idea if it will be a 1 star or 5 star experience. This location is ok. My food is always edible. Sometimes it is stale though, like it's been under a heat lamp for hours. You know, when the bun is dry and crunchy... how long does it have to sit out for that to happen? This place is in a convenient location though. What kind of experience you have here really depends on who's working that day. It's inconsistent. There have been times I've been there when they are hopping, the workers are happy, the places is clean, and it's a delight. Then there are days where the workers are clearly watching the clock, orders get messed up, the drink station is a mess, the trash cans need emptying, the McCafe machine is broken, etc. When it's good, it's very good. When it's off, it's not that pleasant. One tendency that happens to me whenever I come here is that I get panhandled. I guess because it's so close to the interstate, as often as not there's a homeless person going around telling his or her woeful story and asking for money. Not exactly super appealing. This location seems poorly managed and staffed. They have people placing orders on-line, driveup, and walk-in, and they simply can't handle it. Walk-in guests are absolutely ignored in favor of drive-up and on-line customers. However, they could not handle the drive-up orders and had cars all over the place waiting for their orders. And, it appeared that almost all orders were begged incorrectly and the customers were coming back into the restaurant to get their order fixed. It was sad to watch the employees who were hustling to help employees not get the support from any manager or the kitchen staff. read more

It's advertised as a 24-hour location. I just tried to go there after getting off work at 2am. I drove up to place my order. Literally nobody came to take my order so I drove around the building twice and saw nobody there. Other cars started piling up and all had the same result as I did. When adding this location to Yelp, I had to classify the business. I selected "fast food", but I'm not sure that's really accurate here. It seems that this particular location has forgotten the fact that this should be fast food. I wanted two combo meals to go. They only had one register open, this was at 4:15 in the afternoon on a holiday weekend. To say they needed more help would have been an understatement. The poor cashier had to even fill the orders he was taking. To his credit, he remained polite with a smile on his face...even if some of the customers didn't I was leaving the restaurant 18 minutes after walking in. Made the mistake of coming back to this location. August 22, 2018. Ordered breakfast through drive thru. Had to repeat my order twice. Nothing was rung up. Got to the window and employee asked me what I ordered. Repeated it again. He took my credit card swiped it and gave it back. I asked for a receipt and he said they were out of receipt paper. I said the whole store? He said yes. I asked to speak to a manager. He said there were none in the store. He said his name was Wes, the store manager name was Anthony and was out of town. I visit this McDonalds every now and then to pick up some coffee. I never do drive-thru, I just go inside and order. Typically, the cashiers are always extremely busy and running around, but they let you know they'll be with you in a second. I ordered a few coffees and a flavored iced coffee, but the cashier messed up my iced coffee flavor. Once I got my order, I asked the cashier if she can swap out my iced coffee for the right flavor. She was very responsive and quick, and just gave me a new iced coffee. Overall, customer service inside is not bad even if they're pretty busy (not sure about drive-thru). Also, I would highly recommend the Hazelnut Iced Coffee there. No need to add any sugar or creamer to the coffee, it's perfect as is. read more

This McDonald's never fails to disappoint. From the terrible waits at the drive through (5-6 cars can take upwards of half an hour even if half of them give up) to the undercooked, stale food (not sure how but they manage to combine both) to the terrible attitudes of the staff. How can a McDonald's be so messed up. Stopped in Tuesday night for a quick run through at the drive in.. 20 Min later I found myself inside the store in asking if anyone worked there... The only word that comes to mine is CHAOS. Some young man was wondering around the drive through window doing nothing as a customer yelled at me through the drive up window that she had been waiting 16 min for her food... There was no one at the counter.. there were people in the back doing nothing... when I asked if anyone worked there.. The young female manger who looked like she had slept her cloths came running up apologizing.. I finally got my order and left... I do not know who the management team of this place is but they at least need more training and at the worse needs to be fired. The place was a mess and the employees matched it.
