Slowest fast food in Alamosa. Between 11 and 1 PM they will take you over 30 minutes to get your food.

SLOWEST MCDONALDS EVER! I went inside and ordered at 9:47 - one breakfast sandwich & drink- got my order at 10:12. They kept serving the drive thru and not completing orders for inside. Chick fil A needs to give them lessons on efficiency!! read more

Third restaurant to eat at in Alamosa I chose McDonald's extremely disappointing. I got the classic cheeseburger pack that typically cost no more than $12 but due to it to being a franchise the restaurant owner can pick and choose it prices and it's not worth this price I paid $18 for it And did not get $18 worth of food. My two cheeseburgers had no meat on them whatsoever. My chicken nuggets were cold and soggy and it took over 20 minutes to get my food out. Don't recommend this place. read more

This McDonald's was okay at 5:30-ish AM on March 23, 2024. Went here for a quick, cheap breakfast. I probably wouldn't go back again unless someone in my crew had a hankering for a Big Mac. Lol. But the young lady working the drive-thru window that morning got my order correct and had a beautiful smile that day. Reluctantly went to McDonald's because it was open this morning, ordered a bacon, egg and cheese bagel, didn't realize that they slather it in Green- tinted Mayo-like sauce before I pulled it out of the bag. Disgusting. The greasy concoction was all over the bagel and squished out of the sides of the sandwich, cold sandwich, on top of that. If I didn't have to give one star to do this review, I wouldn't. The food is fine. It is what you'd expect from a McDonald's haha. But the staff is not nice at all. I get having to deal with mean customers. But there is a way to do that and not give the whole store a bad name. One girl in particular at this location is very rude she is blonde and blue eyes. You could be the perfect customer and she probably wouldn't even smile at you. Almost like she is waiting for someone to press her buttons so she can yell or get rude with them. A corporate member definitely needs to get up in this location and do some serious work. They act like they are all running around with their heads cut off for no reason. I worked at a McDonald's location once straight out of high school for reference I'm 23 now. I think we were busier than these guys most of the time and still got things out pretty quick with a few exceptions of course. But that's no reason to treat customers disrespectfully. ESPECIALLY the customers who are nice no matter how the staff treats them. This location needs a lesson on tact and customer service. If you want to get the food, you actually ordered, don't go to this McDonald's. They never get your order right and then when you tell them and even show them your receipt they still argue with you about how you're wrong I ordered five meals they gave me the drinks for all five meals, but argued with me about only ordering three french fries when I ordered five meals. Even after showing them my receipt showing that I paid for the meals they still wouldn't give me the remaining two french fries that I ordered. read more

The ladies bathroom was the cleanest most sterile bathroom I have ever experienced. The server at the front counter was very efficient and friendly. The order was up before we even paid for it. Restaurant was very clean and modern. Excellent experience all the way around. One thing, however.... I have moticed that Mcdonalds has changed there fountain drink machines. The drinks all come out of the same spigot so if you order a diet drink you are getting a drink tinged with fruit flavor which makes your drink taste off. This is a recent development at McDonald's which I think is a detriment rather than a positive addition. They should return to their original soda fountain drink machines. The quality, service, and cleanliness of this restaurant, however is not affected by this, so the review stands as is. read more

Don't go through the "second" drive through speaker. They don't ever come to the speaker. It's happened so many times and I'm very reluctant to use that one but sometimes it just works out that I have to. This last time, they didn't come to the speaker for so long 6 whole cars made it in front of me through the other side. stupid as hell, just close it if you're not gonna answer both. read more

We were in line for approx 20-25 minutes only to get to the order window for them to say they were closed . I then called into the restaurant to ask a few questions. The young lady that answered was very rude and disrespectful. I explained that we're have been in line for almost a half hour and she proceeded to talk over me calling me " Hun" saying she wasn't taking our order and hung up on me ! Wow this is the first time I've been inside since the remodel and it's actually super nice, probably nicer than any McDonalds I've ever been in. Got my food fast, the lady at the counter could have been friendlier but she could have been rude and wasn't so ‍ Lol. Love the drink machines. They did add 2 screens to be able to order your food without standing in line, that's kinda cool just for when it's outrageously busy. The only thing that really makes me sad is that they took away the play place stuff that makes kids actually exercise and work off their meal, and replaced it with a screen on the floor :( that was my only real disappointment in this trip, except for learning that a McChicken was not a dollar, so not so bad. This McDonald's is always packed Drive through and dine in.... so don't be in a hurry if you stop. The staff was busy the entire time, and very friendly when they could have been stressed and rude. After visiting this McDonald's I will never go to another. It was about 7:30pm on July 3rd when we stopped there. The drive thru lines were long, so went inside. Several people were in line to order, but no one was at the register to take orders. Finally, someone started to take orders, but I think it was her first day on the job and didn't seem very happy to be there. We placed our order for 2 meals and went over to get our drinks while waiting to get our order to go. OMG the area around the drink machines was terrible, trash everywhere. NO ICE, and the diet coke was pure syrup ---- I asked if they could fill from the drink machine behind the counter and was told they didn't have ice either. Tried several other drinks, but they were empty. We waited almost 30 minutes to get our order, and it was cold and we tossed in trash. I should have asked for a refund. We use to stop at McDonald's when we traveled, but now it Burger King, hopefully they will not let their standards fall to the level McDonald's has. read more

Kiosk ran out of receipt paper, so i had to do the order at the counter (cool) but since I har already scanned my coupon at the unknowingly broken machine, i couldn't scan it again and get my fries (not cool). I ask for a comp since they I just got screwed - lol, nope. Both soda machines are broken, no iced tea either. Worst McDonald's I've been to in years. Stopped in a couple days ago for a cheeseburger, I ordered via the mobile app and was in curbside parking. After waiting for five minutes I didn't have time to wait any longer and had to leave. Today I again ordered via the mobile app and was waiting in curbside parking after ordering a happy meal and a double cheeseburger. It took 10 minutes for the meal to arrive, the happy meal box wasn't even closed shut. I called their phone number to leave a complaint with a manager, they didn't even answer the phone. Supposedly a "not busy" time, slowest McDonalds I've ever been to. They couldn't figure out who had paid in line, who hadn't, no breakfast foods were ready (at 6am), and they were making each car wait a really long time for each order. Poor rating solely due to the extremely excessive time it took to get my drive through order. I came at 6:45 on a Tuesday morning and ordered a generic breakfast combo. Four cars initially in front of me, with the first guy getting out right after I ordered. It took about 5 minutes per order for each of the remaining 3 cars in front with me getting out after 20 minutes! Turns out, at that time of day they only have 1 person at each position. So one cook, one person on drive thru, and one person inside. It's simply not enough staff, but especially not enough for a breakfast rush. The only time you should expect a 20 minute drive through wait is at In-n-Out, and this is certainly no In-n-Out. TL;DR Don't go here in the morning, you'll wait forever. read more
