Great pit stop if you're traveling through the back roads of Colorado. You can never go wrong with small town cafes.

A fun spot in the main area of Alamosa! We stopped here on our way for some good food and coffee. I loved the gluten free options and bagel. The coffee was delicious as well. Highly recommend stopping here for a fun cozy spot!

Perfect place to pick up a picnic lunch before heading to the Sand Dunes. Everything was freshly made and easy to transport in our packs. If you like to try new things- go for the Morado. It was delicious.

Stopped in for coffee before heading out to The Great Sand Dunes. Cute place. We will definitely be back!

Wow, this place blew my expectations away. The paninis are so freakin good, cooked to perfection and very fairly priced. They pair well with apples. Coffees are great too. I couldn't believe this may be the best breakfast I've had so far in my Colorado national park trip. Strongly, strongly recommend.

Fig jam panini... couldn't resist, forgive the bites.

I was in town for my graduation and we came to Milagros Coffee House... another great decision! The staff was friendly and helpful, our order came out hot and delicious . They even have a wonderful program you can donate to that provides coffee or food to the homeless. I had the Fig panini, it tasted like a delicious apple pie, with sliced apple, fresh spinach, Brie and fig jam, such a delicious compliment to my chai latte. My husband had the Reuben panini, thinly sliced pastrami with melted Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and a tantalizing dressing. He also enjoyed a perfectly prepared cappuccino. Great place to kick back and relax with great food, beverages and friendly people.

Yet another treasure hidden away in a small town!! We stopped by on our way back home from Colorado Springs and can't recommend it enough! The "exotic lattes" were unique - my wife loved her cherry kiss and I really enjoyed my Mt. Blanca. Our son got his usual vanilla Italian soda and said it was "perfect" we all enjoyed breakfast burritos that were delicious! Prices were unbelievable! If you're nearby you definitely want to stop by!!

This is one of my top favorite coffee shops in Colorado. I just wish they stayed open later to compete with the dreaded starfucks.

The portion was generous and we took leftovers home for supper! The flavors blended well and had that comforting home cooked flavor. We both loved the green chili and found the beans above average, reminding us of the homemade, all day + simmered, beans off of a wood-fired stove in the alps when we lived in europe. Yes, they were good. The atmosphere was hole in the wall cafe, where all the best food is found. I did enjoy the mural on the wall, the on going local conversation, and the familiarity between staff and customers. In the midst of that, we felt welcome. I forgot to get pictures of the menu. Prices were quite a bit higher than shown previously. However the portions and value were good and we didn't know until leaving that the price included the tip. I'm not sure if that was the case for previous menus. Stop in and enjoy! Glad to give them my recommendation.

RATING BREAKDOWN Food: 5 | Service: 5 | Ambiance: 4 | Price: 4 PARKING Minimal parking out front. LOCATION/AMBIANCE The restaurant's front looks like a cabin with a steep roof and a balcony above the entrance. Inside, there's a relatively small dining room with a couple of rickety booths where we sat - the waitress warned us. Restrooms were available. THE GRUB + Coffee ($2.50) + Orange juice + Lemon blueberry cake ($4) + Breakfast bowl ($12) + Burrito ($14) - this sucker was huge. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed it. LITTLE YELPER'S CLUB No kids menu, but my kiddos had plenty of options. SERVICE Very amiable service from both our waitress and the owner. MY FAVORITE PART... My breakfast bowl with green Chile! NOT SO FAVORITE PART... The booth seat kept sliding around. My kids were excited to go fishing. Lol. TIPS + Call for their hours before heading there. The owner was super nice on the phone. + They will let you taste the green Chile if you are hesitant about spicier foods.
