Solid 4 stars! For the price, the food options are good. It's nothing fancy, but the bacon is crisp and the food comes out hot. My meal was missing artisan bread and they were apparently out of potatoes because they subbed the red potatoes for hash browns. It's fine, but I would've appreciated a heads up. I was full so didn't push the toast/bread, and the cappuccino was good enough to distract me. We did have to avoid one seating area due to a lot of flies, but I understand it's an uphill battle. Food is really amazing!!!! So is the hocus pocus late!! I would give it 5 stars if it was child friendly. So for those of you without kids this place is great (as long as you're not in a rush). With kids I'd give it like 3 stars because the food and ordering took a while. They didn't have much staff so the front of house was doing tons of different jobs. Luckily we brought some snacks with us. It looks like a mix between an old brewery and coffee shop. They have a little shop area to buy coffee and such and a bar for extra fancy adult drinks. It was nicely decorated for Halloween. My guess is their "target crowd" are any age without kidddos... Would we come back (even with the kids)? Yes.... We would just plan ahead and have one person come order ahead of time while another played outside with the kiddos around town. Again the food and drinks were wonderful! read more

This place is definitely worth a stop in Alamosa. The food is good, the ambiance is great, and the coffee creative. For someone who loves the city, this eclectic little restaurant makes me miss home. I've been there three times and I will continue to return. The food is delicious, from the açaí bowl to the avocado toast, and the coffee is super flavorful! It has an old historical feeling mixed with barista/trendy bar feels, and even has a bar in which you can order some eye openers if you so wish. Service here has been very good. It's not traditional where you order from your table, but everyone has been so kind and polite. It's one of my favorite little brunch spots and they even have a little store in the back so you can get a unique gift. Very happy with this place! read more

Genius idea for a small town place. Stopped here on our way to Great Sand Dunes NP. The drip coffee is great: smooth, delightful. I ordered the breakfast burrito smothered in the green chili pork. I was surprised by two things: it was cold and flavorless. I'm not even sure how that happens, but, alas, it was both. My friend ordered the quesadillas and it, too, was sorely lacking in any kind of flavor. My other friend ordered hard fried eggs and they came out runny. The waitress was quick to resolve the problem and brought her new eggs to order. The service really is good, but maybe breakfast isn't their strength? read more

The only reason I went here was to use a gift card. I felt the service had gone downhill since the last time I was here was a few years ago. Depending on who is working at the register will determine the type of service you will receive. I ordered avocado toast and a pumpkin latte. The eggs had no taste and resembled more like yellow cottage cheese than eggs. The toast with avocado and tomato actually tasted good. The latte was eh. I was glad to find a table that had access to an outlet. Not many tables to sit at. I don't know what happened when I was there, but a burnt smell covered the air. My huevos rancheros were not appetizing; the rancheros sauce tasted more like gravy than rancheros sauce. The flavors were not all there--a lot of screws up from the kitchen. Probably the worst huevos rancheros dish I've ever tasted. After trying my friend's chorizo scramble, we both ended up liking the dish they accidentally brought out than ours, which was the breakfast quesadillas. For my Sangre latte, it was mainly foam, and the coffee tasted watery. Same for my friend's cold brew; it was so water down. read more

My family and I had a wonderful breakfast here. We had our puppy with us so we sat outside. I went inside to check the menu out and the woman working inside quickly offered menus to me. As we sat outside, she immediately brought a round of waters for all of us. I loved her initiative and she was so friendly and sweet! We ordered a Rancher's Breakfast where the biscuits and gravy were amazing with chunks of sausage! I had mine with the chorizo which I highly recommend. My daughter had the Bread Pudding French Toast and that was delicious as well! Perfectly cooked and not soggy at all. My husband loved his Brewhouse Breakfast Burrito and my two young boys shared a Classic Mountain Breakfast. A pretty simple breakfast that was enjoyed by both. All passerby's were smiling and nice. Took a chance and tried this place out. We sit down and we are not greeted nor asked what we wanted to order. We sat and waited and waited..so I finally speak up and ask for menus and she says "just a second" and I'm thinking it's already been almost 10 minutes and she's asking me to wait longer?" She acted as though I was inconveniencing her. We finally get to order our food and it takes almost 40 minutes to get to us..at this point it's been at least 50 minutes and we are pretty upset..no manager otherwise I'd have said something. I am a kona coffee, holiday blend, pike's but I definitely bought a bag of the wolf creek blend. The breakfast quesadilla is BOMB! The only reason I'm giving this a 3/5 star is because when we walked in there was no one to be found who worked at the restaurant. I was saying 'hello' through the restaurant for at least 5 minutes and no one was inside the building, other customers even had to say there are two woman working but they have no idea where they went. After walking back towards the kitchen we saw three female workers walk inside the restaurant from the back door and my husband was greeted with 'sorry, we were in the kitchen'. Unfortunately this was a lie because you can see the entire kitchen from where my husband was standing and all the women walked in from outside. Coffee is also sub par with little flavor. read more
