I just read all of the reviews and comments for this McDonald's. Some just seem downright mean. Today was one of those days that nothing was going to take away my craving for salty crisp Mickey D's Fries and the superbly fascinating "tang" of pickles, processed "secret sauce" and shreds of iceberg lettuce. This is one of the busiest McDonald's in the Allentown Area. Hence the double drive thru. Honestly, the bathrooms are clean and the dining room is updated. The only problem I have ever had is from parking and getting blocked in by the drive through line. My fries were hot and crisp today. Big Mac was just as I remembered. One of the employees was much friendlier than the other. Maybe they need to hear more positive. ? read more

Yesterday morning had first McDonald's breakfast bagel sandwich in about 20 years. It was awful! Poor quality bagel, no flavor, so greasy ugh. McDonald's Breakfast bagel sandwich used to be delicious. Good way to keep people from eating what they shouldn't be eating anyway. read more

If there was a rating lower than one star, I would give it. Food was ordered via the mobile app. We parked in the mobile parking space and no one came out for 30 minutes.. We went inside and spoke with an employee who had no clue about our order, even though we had an order number. This employee proceeded to ask for a receipt or proof of the order. I had to have it texted to me since I didn't make the order from my phone. When I came back in, a man came out and asked for my phone so he could show the order to the other staff. I did not feel comfortable doing this, but really wanted my food. Then a supervisor came out saying her staff were confused. I read the order to her. She gave me two empty cups for my wait. This manager tried to put the blame on me because I didn't have the phone the order was made from . She came out with our order and two of the drinks were incorrect. She said that they had no more strawberry and they were having problems with the blue raspberry machine. I was too frustrated to argue anymore. I asked her to confirm my order she did. However when I got home, it was still incorrect. The entire staff in this restaurant needs to be retrained in customer service. I was very cordial throughout this entire debacle, which took an hour and a half. Yet the person who held herself out as supervisor, seemed to not care. I will never go to this McDonald's again, and I suggest everyone avoid it until someone turns it around. This is not the first time we've had poor service at this location. I cannot believe the horror I experienced at McDonald's today. food was cold and sog, the service was incredibly slow, and the staff were incredibly rude. I ordered a Big Mac and it looked like it had been sitting out for hours. The fries were overcooked and tasted like cardboard. To top it all off, when I tried to speak to the manager about my experience, they shrugged me off and said there was nothing they could do. I will never be returning to this location again, and I urge all of you to steer clear of this disaster of a McDonald's. Maybe if I'm unlucky I roll into this McD's twice a year as it's a little far out of my regular travels. While they are a fully renovated "new-ish" location which has a double drive thru window, the last three times I've been here over the last two years there is always a cone sitting outside blocking the entrance to one of the lanes. So with the right lane blocked, we along with the over four cars in line all went left. The order was placed perfectly fine and then that's when everything got stupid. We get to the payment window and the guy says $7.41 as I'm giving him my card. It takes me a moment to have everything click realizing that I just ordered for four people and that my total was nearly twenty-one dollars. I inform the guy and he looks at his screen looks at me then looks at the screen again while hitting a few buttons then mumbles something to the tune of F-it while giving my card back with a receipt for $7.41 while telling me that "I'm good". OK I get to the next window and attempted to do the right thing by telling the woman what happened at the other window and not wanting someone else to get stuck with my bill to which she looks at the screen of backed up orders and then says to me that she has "no clue what the hell is going on, but if the other window charged you seven bucks then I guess you owe seven bucks". OK She hands us three bags and everything is there minus the apple slices I ordered but hey, I'll take the fifty cent hit as they just gave me a thirteen dollar and change discount because no one wanted to figure out how/why the orders became mixed up. Not that McD's has much of a good name to tarnish but this location gives haters and the media the ammo it needs to constantly throw some serious shade on this chain. I mean in a brief bit of social commentary, it strikes me as crazy that some people working in this industry are asking for the kind of wages that they are when you get this type of service and/or caring about the end product. read more

This McDonalds is filthy. We went in on Thursday evening. We went to the play area, where there are about 8 tables and 3 booths. Although only one other family was there, only 1 table did not have stuff on it. And that one table was greasy as heck. There were about 30 number tents on the tables, indicating that no one had been in that area to clean it up in a while. There was trash everywhere... on the floor, on the tables. I soon found out why, the trash receptacles were overflowing with trash, no one seemed to care to empty them. Customers had to resort to placing half eaten meals on top of the trash containers because there was no room in them. I will never visit again. And you should not visit either... read more

Asked for mac sauce on a crispy chicken sandwhich and they forgot it. On top of that we also had to pay for the sauce anyways. A $3 chicken sandwhich after adding the sauce came to a $6 chicken sandwhich that basically was just the $3 sandwhich because the sauce wasn't ever added. Anyways. I have never been so disappointed by McDonald's! I gave it 2 stars because the food was edible. But the PRICES! I wanted a chicken sandwich with lettuce and mayo. I ordered to most basic one. $4.59 but here is the kicker...they were going to charge me 0.69 each for the lettuce and mayo!! $5.97 before tax for the most basic chicken sandwich. So I ordered something else. 6 pieces of nuggets with 1 sauce and a medium chocolate shake. The total was just under $10. I won't be paying this much for a small order of fast food again. I could have a classic chicken with lettuce, bacon and extra Asiago dressing plus a medium frosty from Wendy's for less money. And it was so much better! Normally service is good, but this morning the drive thru staff was way off their game. The cashier didn't scan our McCafe code and was very stressed. The server at the second window made us a hot coffee instead of an iced. We told her that the order was for an iced coffee with an espresso shot and she gave use a blank stair, left the window open and then returned with the iced coffee and still had a blank stair. We thanked her and she slowly closed the window and started at us. It was kind of stressful and bizarre. The three stars are because this normally doesn't happen. read more

Worst meal I ever received from a fast food chain store, bar none. I live just a few blocks from this store. I ordered a Double Quarter Pounder, a Large Fries and a Filet O Fish. The fish sandwich was okay. The Quarter Pounder could NOT have been freshly prepared. It was basically cold. The fries were old and should have been thrown and never been given to a customer. If I could give it NO stars I would. This is one of the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. Stopped by to get some burgers and fries at 1am. Get home only to find the food is disgusting looking and tastes even worse. If you are going to be open 24 hours then make fresh food, don't give me food that has been sitting there for hours! The burgers I ordered were stale, nasty and dry, they had a hint of ketchup on them, and one even had mustard and ketchup when it shouldn't have any mustard on it at all. No onions, and some really poor excuse for pickles. The fries also looked like they had been left out since yesterday, so much so they had a hint of green on them. Recently renovated, it looks so much better than before. The playland is very cool, the toddler area has a music theme. There is a piano on the floor just like in the movie Big. The slide is really fun and it looks like the big kid area is fun too. I just wish the area was cleaner. the restaurant looks nice and clean but the play area is usually really dusty and grimy. my son's white socks are usually grey when we leave. great place to go on a rainy day. i haven't eaten here, just crashed to use to playland to make my kid tired on a rainy day :) read more

I started a Yelp profile after the great service. My daughter and her friends have had many play dates at this location and always have a lot of fun. My daughter had became upset toward the end of our visit and Eduardo saw she was sad as we were leaving and asked if anything could be done to turn the frown around, and he helped make sure my daughter left happy - really nice people working there. I think I even saw the nice manager I met once who gave me props for my Carcass T-shirt and found out he was a fellow metal head, haha.... Really cool place and good, kind service. read more

Like every other Mac Donald's in America customer service is horrible. Can't blame them because it's hard to find people to work for a low wage. I'm never asking for good customer service when it comes to Mac Donald's however at least you should be able to use these low paid workers to clean the floors and the children's play area. read more

when one thinks of mcdonald's they think of a cheap meal at a quick pace. on our way to the drive in movies me and my girlfriend stopped to grab some food beforehand. on a time schedule we chose mcdonald's because of the timing. something quick and easy for the road. instead of a five to ten minute or deal, we waited in a fast food restaurant for nearing 30 minutes, causing us to miss the beginning of our movie. this location is poorly ran and i personally wouldn't recommend this location to my dog. read more

I went here for breakfast. I did find service to be slow, but the food consistent with other McDonald's. I went to check out the play place. They have a toddler section with interactive music elements that my daughter enjoyed. Seemed a bit dirty - but probably on par with other similar type places. This is the 2nd time I've used the drive thru, and put up with long wait times and poor attitudes from the staff. The girl handing me my food opened the window, passed me my drink, then food, then closed the window...no "hello" no "sorry about the wait" not even telling me what she was handing me to make sure it was right. Last time I came I made the mistake of asking a different girl for napkins after she closed the window in my face. I had to wave my hands to get her attention and was met with a dirty look.
