I grew up on McDonald's and love the place but this location needs to have the employees retrained!! Food is always over cooked fries horrible service is pointless they always have a cone up and only one lane fish fillet is ak way gross it's a shame cause I really like McDonald's but it this location. We ordered two sundaes, they poured the ice cream as soon as we ordered them obviously because when we pulled up to the window (15 minutes later), they were basically sweet milks. I can't stress enough how awful this McDonalds location is. The service is the slowest possible service I have ever experienced. On top of that, I noticed a young girl with thick long hair handling food without her hair tied back. I'm surprised this location hasn't been shut down yet. I went for breakfast and ordered hot cakes and an egg McMuffin, and waited 20 minuets before my order came up. Not even worth rating the one star. This isn't necessarily directed toward Cedar Crest McDonald's, although they tend to disappoint as well... but rather the one on 15th St... I went through the drive-thru and noticed before driving away that I was missing a large fry (they ALWAYS forget something) The stingy fry guy gave me a bag with a large container only a quarter full... or 2/3 empty, to be a pessimist about it. I didn't realize I'd been ripped off until I got home. I was extra pissed too because for once they were actually good and fresh and he shorted the sh!t out of it. On a different occasion, they shorted me 4 nuggets in a 20 piece... That's 1/5 of my meal! I don't know why I don't boycott this place... if it wasn't for alcohol, I would. read more

Being a New Yorker... let me say everyone I interacted with in PA were amazing. They were great and delightful.... everyone except for the employees at this McDonald's. I came to the drive through and I stayed by the speaker box for about a good 2-3 minutes speaking to myself until I came to the conclusion maybe they were closed. I drive around to exit and I see a car getting their food so I then assumed that maybe their speaker box was broken. I drive up and the lady gives me a price. I tell her I didn't order yet... she could have taken my order, heck she could have even said sorry sir drive back around. She instead gave me the nastiest look and walked away. Here I am sitting in my car wondering if I should leave or stay. She comes back and took 2 other orders as I waited and let me tell you I wasn't mad that she was taking other orders, I was mad at her actions towards those orders. As the people were ordering she was making very disrespectful hand gestures and facial expression towards those ordering. Then she finally comes up to me and says "what do you want?" So my wife tells me to calm down so I said fine. I place my order and what does she do? She laughs at me. I ask her why is my order funny and she simply walks away. Comes back another 5 minutes later with my food and the way she gave it to me... I felt like I was trash. I won't state her name nor will I give a description of her. I decided to give McDonald's one last chance, and they messed up big time! (OK, for a disclaimer, this McDonald's and most others mess up nearly all the time.) I ordered a chicken sandwich, and it turned out all buttery, over-"mayonnized", and cold. The French fries were not much better. I am shocked at how busy this place can be, and there is only one person behind the counter whenever I have gone there. Average wait time = 30 minutes. All this adds up to being McDonald's being the rough in the gems surrounding it, and it is sad that this location is still open, amidst new competition like Five Guys, PJ's and even Red Robin. read more

Tonight got a Big mac, would love to share the picture, ice cold, stale roll, cheese not melted and big chunk of onion. Before they rebuilt this McDonalds it was one of the best ones in the Lehigh Valley. There food always use to taste more fresh than the other locations. Heres is what makes me upset. Before they rebuilt this was the only McDonalds that offered chocolate ice cream. I use to go there all the time for twist cones but when the restaurant changed they only offered vanila like every other McDonalds. I still go there on occasion for food but they lost a loyal customer who use to go in there all the time for ice cream. Infact I live by another Lehigh Valley location and when they did monoply at McDonalds I use to win free cones a lot and instead of using them there I would take them to this location to get a twist cone out of it read more

i have never had such a poor experience at any mcdonald's than i just had. my mom had surgery a few days ago, is in a lot of pain, and wanted to take her kids for lunch. we went through the drive thru and it took ten minutes for anyone to even give us our drinks. i order a medium carmel frappe and my family ordered two sodas. i got the frappe. the lid was not even on and it spilled. i got carmel sauce and whipped cream everywhere. disgusting. we tried to get the attention of people working in there, we honked, we tried to knock the window. no answer. but there was an employee sitting right inside the window ON HER PHONE with her earbuds in. when we got the attention of someone, they handed us a huge stack of napkins and said literally nothing. how does a business let their employees do that? right in front of the window? i have worked for mcdonalds before and i know how the food works. it really does not take long to make anything at all but we haven't gotten our food for so long now. they come back and ask us to park. there was already a car there parked and they were three cars ahead of us, still waiting for their food. my mom said she didn't wanna park and asked for the money back , minus the drinks because we have already started drinking them at this point. this employee said no because they already started making our food. are you kidding me ? i'm sure a couple cars behind us has the same order as we do and they can just give it to them. we haven't touched it yet so there shouldn't be an issue there... she kept refusing and finally got the manager. the manager barely said a word to us , except to confirm our order and ask if we paid cash or card. we paid cash and got our money back five minutes later, and to no surprised at all, it wasn't the correct amount. i will not be returning to this mcdonalds. it is disgusting how his location operates. read more

Beautiful building inside and out however terrible service! Wait time here is beyond too long! Even when not busy, you will wait near 10 minutes for small orders. Manager/owner needs to evaluate every aspect of how this place is run. Avoid this McDonalds at all costs. read more

Well.. I can't review the food because of a few issues. Upon pulling in it was refreshing to see this McDonald's had been remodeled as it had been somewhat dingy years ago. I noticed they had two lanes for drive-thru ordering however the right lane was closed. I pulled in the left lane and was about 5 cars back. The design of this drive through didn't have much thought as a few cars block off parking spots for patrons who go inside. On a few occasions us folks in the drive-thru line had to back up or reposition our vehicles to allow others out of their parking spots. After waiting for about 10 minutes I went to place my order. I wanted the "2 for $2.50" egg and cheese bagel special. Upon placing my order I was informed "noooo bagels!".. Like whoaaaa! After the drive-thru line mess and time waiting I figured, to heck with it and went down Tilghman Street to Wegmans. Wegmans is the solution for everything! Summing it up, the construction engineer who designed the drive-thru should be fired and the "noooo bagels" lady needs to work on her customer service skills.. and order some more darn bagels! We live in the neighborhood right across the street, so we have tried this Mc Ds on many occasions-it's ALWAYS slow, the drive-through people are usually rude at night (daytimers are older employees and generally OK). If you don't scrupulously check your own order-you're going to be shorted. We've been shorted here so so so many times, we dont even use the drive through now-because we'll likely have to return anyway. I sent an employee there today to try and get a lunch for 5 people-because we were in a hurry and once again, true to form, we were shorted a cheeseburger. This is the closest eating place to home, but I'm done with them now. This is ridiculous-they spent untold thousands of dollars on a silly decor scheme and continue to screw up orders and continue to be rude. COME.ON. read more

Don't waste your time going to this terrible location. We sat in the drive thru for 15 minutes before we could place out order. To top this "experience" off they got our order wrong. If the franchise owner cares about his/her business I would suggest you spend time on location to see what is wrong. Also, six cars left while we were waiting so you lost money. After reading the other reviews about this location, I am realizing that I am not alone in feeling that the management at this location is horrendous!!! I have been overcharged at this location twice. I actually approached the manager, Bob and the woman at the register and neither was remotely concerned that the order was rung up wrong. I asked for a refund and they flat-out refused. I will never return to this location. I wrote a letter to the headquarters in Illinois. They need to know that a franchise is being run like this. What a sad representation of what has always been a great organization. The owner of this store location needs to open up his eyes and change the management. read more

I'm surprised that no one has ever written a review about this location. I have been to many McDonalds accross the USA and this is the worst one of them all. The service is really bad. When I complained to the manager he said if you do not like it go to another McDonalds. I avoid this location like the plague but because its close to our house and the kids wanted to play in their indoor jungle jim we try to tolerate it. But no longer, even my daughter said lets not come here any more. It took 20 minutes to serve us 4 ice creams and there was only one customer ahead of us and 8 people behind the front counter. Yes behind front counter, not counting the back kitchen area and none could get us ice creams. They also appear to take along time to change the fryer oil. The frys and chicken nuggets taste horrible there. Other locations they taste not bad for processed food.The owner or owners should dedicate some time at the location and manage the place correctly. read more

Drove through today just to buy a coke. A couple of blocks away took a few sips and it tasted very strongly and unmistakingly of MOLD. I called, not to yell, just to notify them that it's a good time to seriously clean out their soda dispenser. I asked to speak to the manager, and after a few seconds of silence, I repeated my request, and she hung up on me. I drove back to the store., went inside, asked for the manager. A surly man with the look, manners , and customer service skills of a disrupted hibernating bear approached the counter and glared at me, whereupon I told him that I tried to warn them by phone but was summarily dismissed with a hang up. He took my soda, said that the machines are cleaned daily, and walked away without an apology or an offer to return my money or give me even a cup of water in return. I will NEVER RETURN because, if they will treat a polite customer this way to her face, what are they doing to your food and drinks behind your back???? read more
