I'm not a huge McDs fan, but this locale consistently serves the best McD fries . . . !!!

I noticed management here hires Hispanic who don't speak English. They put Hispanic lady at drive thru and don't speak English. I ordered meal and I get everything but the fries. I told the lady, I'm missing fries, she kept looking at the bag and no idea what I'm saying. I asked her if she speak English, she said no ingles, How is manager here set someone at drive thru and don't speak English. How the heck she got a job here in the first place? read more

I don't expect much, if at all, on the rare occasions I visit McDonalds. But when I walk up and all I have is cash ATM, I number 1 don't wanna be treated differently. At a MCDONALDS , I waited 20 minutes for my order. At which point I walked up and asked where my order was... they didn't apologize, they just made it in 2 minutes and shoved it my way. This is by far the worst McDonald's in Johns creek/alpharetta. No one is ever at the front to take orders. The workers don't speak English. The urgency is very lackadaisical. This McDonalds is literally the best McDonalds I've ever been to! I've lived near this one for 13 years, and they did have some issues in the early years. but the past few years, I don't know what happened, but it is excellent now. The biscuits are always soft, fluffy, warm, and not over-baked! The bacon is always crispy, not like that mushy raw stuff that some stores try to pass off as bacon. Nope, I keep saying never again; but it seems to be the only option open after 10PM. The fries are always cold by the time you get to the front of the drive thru. They no longer serve nuts with the sundays, and the ice cream taste like artificial sweeteners. I give it two starts because the employees are usually courteous and friendly. read more

Used the drive-through this morning and was hesitant due to past experiences with this particular McDonald's regarding both service and food. I was thrilled when the employee politely took my order and money. The pick-up window employee was just as polite! These young ladies are exactly where they need to be in this fast food restaurant and will surely bring back business that had been lost due to horrible customer service. My breakfast sandwich tasted fresh (as fresh as you can get with McDonald's) and my coffee was tasty too. Sharing the with kitchen crew too! I don't have high expectations when going to McDonalds (who would?) but this was possibly the worst fast food experience I ever had. Went to the drive-thru to order food for me and my daughter. We both wanted fountain drinks with our meals. They were out of all drinks except unsweetened tea and lemonade, so we ordered one of each. They upcharge for lemonade. Not a big deal, but how do you justify upcharging when there are only two choices? When the young lady handed me the food, I said "Thank You" which went unacknowledged so I asked her why she didn't say "You're welcome" to which she just smiled and nodded. The food was thrown together in the boxes. The Big Mac wasn't assembled properly so it fell apart when I picked it up and the sauce got all over my hands. The food was cold. She didn't give us straws (luckily I thought to ask for them.) The tea was so bitter it was undrinkable (I often order unsweetened tea so I know what it usually tastes like.) Obviously, an absentee franchise owner who doesn't care about the brand or his customers. Too bad corporate doesn't do more to enforce their standards. I wonder why I don't have these problems at Chick-fil-A. They always reply when you thank them ("My Pleasure") and they always have the items on the menu. Wow, look what happens when you care about your business, hire competent people, and properly train them. This is the last time I order from this McDonald's location and will think long and hard before going to any McDonalds again. read more

This has to be the best customer service I've ever had at a McDonalds location. I came with my kids to eat breakfast and I then play in the Play Place. They were nice enough to bring us our food to our table. Later the Manager came up to us asking if the food was good and if we needed anything. You can tell he truly cares about his store, employees and customers. It truly reflects. The play area is clean and makes me comfortable to have my kids play in it. It's pretty big and my kids enjoy it. There's also two little screens where kids can play games on them. Always a good experience here. Happy customers! read more

This used to be the best mc Donald's but now I can honestly say it might be the worst. Today I got my granddaughter a Sprite with her meal. I watched as the girl ran the Sprite and the whole time playing with the lid, inside and out. Her fingers were all over the inside of the lid. Bunch of morons that work here. 95% of the time you won't get the sauce you asked for.

It never fails, go to this location and something is usually wrong. For example, tonight, they randomly closed the restaurant and made an announcement in the parking lot to a bunch of people in line in the drive-through. Puzzled customers, parking and trying to go inside only to find the doors were locked. This is not the first occasion where this McDonald's has randomly closed during normal operating hours. The management of this place is honestly completely hit or miss depending on what month it is. This tended to be the local one we would go to if we were going to have McDonald's, because it is only a five minute drive from home, but I am starting to reassess whether to keep going to this place or not read more

The checkout person at this McDonald's need to learn how to count money. My bill was $4.04. I handed this young man $5.05. Change should be easy, I would have thought. Nope! I got a handful of change equaling $.82 ! I wasn't the one driving, so couldn't dispute/"teach math". I felt like I was in a Mexican restaurant. The Cashier did not speak to me in English so it made it difficult to understand each other. The Spanish music was so loud that I could not relax and enjoy my meal. I ordered at the automated screen, paid, entered the number, and asked to dine in but the cashier placed my order on the counter and yelled out several times in Spanish for me to pick it up. Needless to say, the number provided says they will bring it to my table, I was confused. The bathroom was disgusting and needs an update, the paper towel dispenser is broken and empty, the soap dispensers are empty and broken and the smell was terrible. I don't recommend. read more

I do not recommend this location of McDonald's. We visited twice recently. One was for a simple drive up mobile to-go order for their international McFlurry. We parked in the designated spot and checked in on the app. We were sitting for awhile and noticed on the app our order was marked as "delivered." We thought that might mean they were coming out any minute. However, we sat for at least 30 minutes! Finally when we're about to go inside a guy with a tie comes out and says he has "no words." He doesn't even apologize and just runs back inside. The McFlurry had completely melted and while it was tasty, it was no longer a frozen treat. The second visit we had tonight was flat out ridiculous. No one was answering at the drive thru and we had to yell into the speaker to get their attention. We were trying to fill a DoorDash order for a customer and they informed us they were completely out of chicken! The person speaking to us was very non-chalant. When DoorDash tried to call the location to confirm it their phone line had been disconnected. We're unsure if they just turned it off for the night or if it is something permanent. Either way, the customer was very disappointed and we were in disbelief. I've been to many other McDonald's - in my lifetime - where the service was 1000 times better. read more

This has got to be one of the worst managed locations that I have ever experienced. Tonight I wanted to get an Oreo McFlurry and a Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich. I was told by the rude drive-thru attendant (whom replied 'what do you want' after i had to yell to get their attention because they didn't greet me) that they weren't making crispy chicken sandwiches for the rest of the night, because they claimed that they were 'out of the chicken for that sandwich'. Went to this McDonald's with a $3 off $15 or more and my total was $16.70. I show the guy at the window my coupon and I could tell he just randomly tapped all over the screen to make it look like he did something then he swiped my card and gave it back to me without my receipt, then after asking for my receipt he huffed and I uncrinkled it just before he was about to throw it away and my total was still $16.70. I asked why he didn't use my coupon and he said "go get your food" and shut the window. I asked for manager at the next window and they handed me all my stuff and shut the window without saying anything. I now McDonald's is known for only hiring half brains and degenerates but this is getting ridiculous. read more

I have been there at opening for breakfast a couple of times I had to wait 10 minutes for them to open the door. I find the service inside to be excellent. They built a second drive through lane but lunch time waits are still a bit too long. Not because of poor service, but because of popularity. They have a sign that says the drive though will soon be open 24 hours per day. The franchise owner is there a LOT to insure the place is running right and customer friendly. There is not a single person working there I know that has been there for 6 months. High turnover is the probable cause of fluctuating service times/levels. Closed for a long time for renovations adding the second drive through lane and big improvements in the child play area. read more

Placed my order, paid and was instructed to pull to spot number one to wait for my food. After 10 minutes of watching other people leave with food, I went in to check on the status. The person in front of me had also been waiting for their order just as long and also went inside to complain. The manager, Alexa M., hid around the corner and sent Myrah G. out to speak with us. She immediately became aggressive and started saying loudly that we could get our food or our money back but not both. I had only asked for my food at this point. Myrah then asked me no less than 5 times to repeat what food I was waiting for. She asked so many times that other customers in line were answering her on my behalf. Dirty, run down and worse I went to this McDonalds 03/3019 at 8:00am Saturday with a health issue. I was on my way to a business meeting and became ill. I looked for a McDonalds to use the restroom. I found one so I whipped in and jumped out and ran in. I was shocked! The restroom was a disaster. There was no toilet paper even with the 2 oversize commercial rolls that were in the dispenser. I was desperate and used the paper hand towels which was almost empty. If this is how they keep their restrooms even for the employees then I wouldn't eat anything there. At 8:30AM in a Saturday morning with 3 cars in the drive thru - this is the slowest service ever!! Car in front of me was asked to pull forward to wait for fresh coffee. I was asked to pull forward to wait for a mocha period after 10 minutes of waiting the guy next to me had to go inside to get his coffee. Eventually the manager came out to deliver my cup of mocha. He seemed to think that waiting over 10 minutes for coffee was perfectly acceptable. I would find another McDonald's if you're hungry or go to the Chick-fil-A a block down the street. read more
