For this trip, I'm exploring Cheesesteaks in the area since I just moved in. Compared to Weeyums, Philly D, and uncle Phil's I would say this is nowhere near as good as those. It scratches an itch, but the bread is wrong. It was too small and barely held together. It was good, but if you're looking for a spectacular Philly, I wasn't getting it. Might be worth trying the Desi Cheese steak since it's different. Seems like that might be my next try. Just need better bread. Onion rings were also just prepackaged. Nothing to write home about. When I visited there was one guy working there. Granted, he wore no mask and didn't wear gloves, but I could tell he knew his way around the kitchen. I was craving a Philly cheesesteak and it seemed close to authentic (with only cheese and onions, of course). I watched him cook it and he kept putting more and more of this mystery powder on it while cooking. Then a little later he put more and more on it. When I ate it, it was a peppery, smoky, curry flavor that was obviously his Indian infused style for the cheesesteak. It actually looked very shriveled when I unwrapped it at home, but I guess you can't blame bread and steam. All in all, it was good, but I probably wouldn't get it again. I'd rather try his Indian food. So I asked what he recommended and we went with the Goat Curry. Naan is extra ($2 a piece) but I got 2 garlic naan anyway. The Goat Curry is overpowering. When microwaved the whole house smells, for quite some time. I enjoyed it, but it turns out the portion size is massive. It took me 3 meals to take it down, so each time my wife was complaining about the strong smell in the whole house. So I decided next time I'm gonna try the tandoori chicken or tikka masala - a bit more mainstream and less to overload our house. This little place is in a shopping center with plenty of parking and easy access right off of 141. Located behind the BP gas station. So we got one of the curry dishes and it had a lot of the spices that should have been strained out prior to serving the dish. When you bite down into one of these seeds it's not very pleasant. We did have a lot of grease on top that we strained ourselves. As for that, the curry was amazing and so was the white rice served with it. The nan bread was not traditional but still very good!! I love the fact they have Philly cheesesteaks you can also add an Indian spice variation. If you don't like Indian seasonings get the cheesesteak plain. I cannot believe this little café serves amazing Indian dishes as well as all American cuisine. The owner was very personable and helpful. Very attentive and definitely on top of things. He runs a well oiled machine. I definitely plan on going back and trying out many of his items.
