What I received : Two cheeseburgers One pickle on my crispy chicken and fries that were small hard and over done basically bottom of the barrel. I get it's fast food but almost 20 bucks and it was awful except for the chicken. I should of double checked but when you repeat your order AT the cashier not drive through it's not Brain surgery. Only McDonalds establishment in a 25 mile radius that charges for water. Should tell you enough about the owners. If you're stopping by before a trip up north, both McDonald establishments (one conveniently off Pelham St exit) give water and soda water for free. Preserve your body with healthier options. Starbucks is up the street with free water and delicious breakfast food. Again, ordering dunkin donuts food online will save you the hassle of waiting in line. Going up north again? I have been popping in here a couple times a month for probably 20 years. I think it's been the same owners the whole time. I'd say 92% of the time my orders are quick, hot and delicious. (Just like me ) Any variation from that I attribute to new/young staff that sometimes aren't totally getting the fast in fast food. But really. The customers at this location can be flipping super demanding and totally rude. I've seen it a million times here. You want these kids to be nice? You be nice first Brenda. Absolutely deplorable customer service. Not a single care as well. It is perfectly clear the employees and management do not care in the slightest. Got my french fries that were literally tiny over fried pieces and clearly bottom of the barrel(I would've waited for fresh had I been asked) and the sandwiches halfassed. Yeah... The other reviews are spot on here. Ordered the mighty wings and a large fries. Fries were cold. Not warm. Cold. Mighty wings were ok. Don't know that I'd ever get them again, but at least they weren't cold. Unfortunately I think the mcdonalds curse of wanting to serve people immediately has full handle of this place. Rather than handing people fresh food, they just give you stuff that's clearly been sitting out just so they can hand it to you seconds after your order. Or, they simply don't care. Whoa~~~~~~~ so steaming right now. I was very specific with my order even to how many sauces we need through the drive through. They said ok through the drive through but didn't give me the right amount, so I sent in my daughter to get them. She was shut down by the cashier. Realizing they forgot my 4 milkshakes I went in. She told me that I'd have to pay for the extra sauce. That's fine. Gave no attitude and paid for it. Then she goes off to another coworker talking crap about me in Spanish. You really need to be careful these days with that. First off, you shouldn't talk about your customers period...especially if they're right there. You don't know who can understand! Here' something you don't see everyday, especially while in the drive thru. The lady in front of us had purchased an apple pie and was upset that she was being charged thirty cents more then posted on the sign. The young man at the window would not honor the posted price when it was brought to his attention. While this woman held the line up and refused to move, the manager came out to verify that the sign reflected a sale price that was expired and asked the crew member to refund the difference. This dingbat now refused to do so at her request and argued with the manager through the window. Eventually common sense prevailed, the employee shut his mouth, refunded the customer got her thirty cents and the drive thru line moved. Customer service at it's best. read more

Why it's called "McDonald's of Andover" is a bit beyond me, but who cares. Now, I usually don't review places that people don't look up for reviews, like gas stations and fast food restaurants, but I go to this probably about once a week or so. First, the staff seems to change every time, sometimes it's a Ukrainian crew and I come back the next week and it's changed. It's kind of strange but who cares. I don't really care for it here because the people are in a way rude. I've gone plenty of times and just got stared at, the people behind the counter just imagining that he knew that that I could order. The simple words of "Can I take your order?" seem non-existent when you order inside. They are quick, and that is probably one of the only two redeeming factors, the other being it is near my house. If I could give zero, I would. I made the mistake of taking my son (14) to the McDonalds on North Main in Andover (Rt 28) - his baseball game ran late, and he said he was "starving'. He wanted the #2 (Qtr pounder w/ fries & a sprite) my daughter got chicken nuggets w/ fries. 5 hours later he woke up and vomited on the floor of his bed room - couldn't even make it to the bathroom 15-feet away. My daughter threw up this morning. She's a little better, but it's been over 12-hours and he's STILL home dry heaving every 30-minutes... Draw your own conclusions, but this sure looks like food poisoning to me. My kids haven't been physically ill in years. The service here is terrible. They always close early I work in a restaurant so I understand wanting to leave early and what not. But they say online they are open until 11 pm and I've gone a half dozen times and they've been closed at 1030. Not a huge deal but my complaint is for a manager who gives side looks and intimidates patrons because they roll up half hour before closing time. They also frequently forget items and then fuss when customers request it at the window before leaving. When the service is good it's freaking fantastic but when it sucks it sucks and nothing gets done to correct the issues at hand. Not many things need to be fixed but some do read more

After a very lengthy closure due to what seems to be a very pretty renovation, and then the Columbia Gas disaster, I really, genuinely wanted to support this place and give them another chance. H*ck this place. I drove for a half hour to get the szechaun sauce but they "didnt have any" The website lied.

So when I got there the entire crew was just hanging out behind the counter.. Wasn't that busy, so.. ok I guess... I placed my order with probably THE MOST apathetic dejected person on the entire planet, and then I got my food .. My meal consisted of cold fries, a flat Dr Pepper, a quarter pounder on a stale bun with cheese melted half on the burger and half in the box, and an Oreo mcflurry that they either forgot to (or I'm guessing really didn't care to) mix which resulted in a lovely puff of Oreos spilling all over me and my car when I tried to remove the spoon. Im really not a picky food person and never Yelp or anything like this...I know people aren't thrilled at work or have bad days or whatever and that's fine, and maybe if it was just the fries or just the soda that sucked I really wouldn't have cared, but seriously??????????? This was by far the most depressing McDonald's experience in my entire life, it really just made me sad and beyond disappointed that's what I paid $10.57 for. read more

I work right down the street and come in for the salads. They are great. The owner won't put any money into repairs. The decor is golf. Boring. One chairs been broken for months. The big problem is the staff. They are rude, loud, noisy and make for àn unpleasant experience. I'm not asking for library quiet but this is beyond reason. I won't be back. read more

Don't listen to the other reviews, they are really damn picky. The service is quick and easy, and there's an auto order panel. The employees don't treat you like a family member, and, let's be honest; they don't need to. If they serve you well, don't be a dick, then you have a good McDonalds. All that bullshit about the service is just really biased. And the machines didn't work a week after reopening, sure. But haven't you even given it a chance? The worst service imaginable. They have a bunch of people working there now who are more concerned with goofing off, being loud, and sharing personal stories than taking care of the customers. The drive thru service is abysmal - I don't know how the owner(s) are okay with the service (or lack thereof) those workers are providing. A 10+ minute wait for a simple order is ridiculous - especially when they can't even get the order correct all the way through! Quick and friendly service. Everything was how I ordered it. Fries were hot,so were my sandwiches. Also very nice and polite workers, even though I had to wait two minutes for my fries(which I didn't mind since it meant they were fresh) they were very respectful and nice when telling me. Agree with the other reviews. Plus the hot chocolate machine and ice cream/shake machines are always "broken". I think they shut them off early or never turn them on so they don't have to clean them. This location should close. read more
