What a great addition to Lawrence! I work across from this place and so happy La Grekka opened! They have a wide variety of coffee, I got a cafe bombon. Then came back later for lunch. The place is busy! Very cute inside. The lineup can be long, so expect a wait time. The interior is absolutely beautiful. Not all servers know English so be patient with the crew. The prices run Boston style. Expect to pay $6 for latte and around $15+ for a sandwich. Taking one star off for pricing as after we are in Lawrence, should match Lawrence pricing. But we know I'll be back due to lack of good office coffee. read more

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon as it was the only coffee shop open in the area. The vibe was so cozy, no spot bare on the walls, with couches and seats and plants everywhere. I didn't want to leave! However, most of the baked goods on the menu were sold out and it's a little pricey. I got the daily special Guava Brie pastry, which was a little disappointing. The inside was mostly air and the pastry was too dry for my liking, and the guava was strong (overpowering the Brie). That said, I had one of the best cappuccinos I've ever had. Perfectly creamy and balanced flavor and warmed me right up on a cold day. Note that alternative milks are $1. read more

Work in the Lawrence complex, but hadn't been down the newer end. Went to La Grekka Cafe today...had possibly the best sandwich I've ever eaten. Avocado, mozzarella, tomatoes, lettuce, a couple of tasty sauces on the side and delicious whole wheat bread. Lots of napkins, utensils and condiments tossed into a big brown paper bag that was very easy to carry to the car. It's cute, the coffee smells great, and the pastries look fantastic. I visited this coffee shop for the first time on Sunday around 12:30 pm. The modern design and inviting atmosphere really impressed me, and the art was a nice touch. The music added to the vibe. While waiting, I searched for a spot to sit since the place was packed, and fortunately, we found one. We ordered a cappuccino, latte, and mocha, along with toasted bread, a chocolate croissant, and a Media Noche sandwich. The cashier mentioned the food could take up to 30 minutes, but we only waited about 10 minutes, which was great. Now, about the food: the coffee was THE best I've ever had. (rich and creamy without needing any sugar).The croissant was perfect! (buttery, flaky, and soft). Everyone in our group enjoyed their drinks and food. However, there's room for improvement. The cashier wasn't very friendly or welcoming. My boyfriend mistakenly ordered a matcha latte instead of a mocha latte. When I asked the cashier to correct the order before they started making it, she seemed to blame him for the mistake rather than just helping fix it. Her attitude about a simple error felt unnecessary. I will be back, just hoping I get a different cashier or a better attitude next time. read more

If your looking for a place to chill and get great cappuccino or quick breakfast or lunch, this cafe is great!!! A little bit out of sight on Merrimack street, so be careful not to drive by it. It's a nice break from the cookie cutter cafés that we have littering the North Shore in Merrimack Valley. The meal was nicely done and the coffee tasted fantastic. The decor is quite inviting and the staff seem to be very friendly. I happen to be there on a nice day and there was outdoor seating as well. If you're looking for something comforting with good coffee and well adorned, this is likely the coffee shop for you. read more

Located in the heart of Lawrence, MA, La Grekka felt like such a hidden gem. The atmosphere was busy and vibrant, with many people sitting and enjoying their morning. The cafe's interior was dark but colorful, with creative artistic decor. Unfortunately, we couldn't find seating, so we didn't get to try the food. However, we did order their "Dark Secret" latte. It was rich, chocolatey, and not too sweet. Though we couldn't sit and eat, it was great to see how popular the cafe was. There was definitely a strong community feel, and the staff were very thoughtul and made good suggestions based on our preferences. I really want to go back and try the food! read more

The ambience of this place is absolutely spectacular! It's very welcoming and fun interior with all different types of types of seating options that I'll have their own little theme. The service was excellent! So you order at the counter, they give you a table number and then bring your food out to you when it's done. We loved this little shop!! The coffee was amazing and perfectly brewed. I got so many nutty and vanilla notes it was an immersive experience. I met a friend for coffee at La Grekka and we were blown away by our experience! They have created an atmosphere that I could live in - bohemian esthetic, an eclectic variety of seating and lighting, beautiful artwork and greenery... I could go on and on. My latte (made non-dairy) was excellent, pastry (guava with brie) was served warm and fresh. My friend ordered a chocolate orange cake that was not only beautiful to look at but tasted phenomenal. Our drinks and treats were served with beautiful pottery. On top of all of this, the staff is also friendly and helpful. If you need to escape and treat yourself, this is the spot. read more
