Stopped at the Andover McDonald's for my 14 year-old daughter and ordered a chocolate shake. It was very pale and looked more vanilla than anything. I asked if they could add some chocolate to it, to which they replied that that's 'just how the machine makes it'. The fries were overcooked and so were the chicken nuggets. Very rude employees. Went through the drive through to get a drink and the male at the payment window didn't even speak a word. The younger girl at the second window tried to hand me ice cream and I said "no, sorry, I just had a diet Dr Pepper" she then shoved a drink at me that wasn't marked. So I asked just to double check that it was diet and not regular. She rolled her eyes said "yes it's diet" and shut the window as I was saying "ok thank you just wanted to make sure since it wasn't marked" as I have been given regular several times by mistake in the past. I wasn't rude or demeaning or anything of the sort. I didn't make a big deal about it. Nothing to warrant her eye roll and shutting the window the way she did. I decided to give McDonald's a try again. Went drive thru, placed order, got to window to pay, gave the guy a $20.00 bill. He gives me .13 cents. I told him I gave him a $20.00. They did count the drawer and told me I had only given a $10.00. I do know what I gave them. They ripped me off for $10.00. Oct 18th. 8 pm. My last meal before the incident. Oct 19th 9:41 am - starving. I ordered two breakfast burritos, a hash brown and orange juice. 10:30 Am. liquid bowel movements. 10:40 Am. First of all i ordered from DoorDash, cool, bag was sealed says my order was double checked. I get my order and it's missing a whole meal. So as i already know to make the discrepancy with doordash to get a refund and reorder the meal i called them just to make sure it gets double checked before the dasher gets there and makes another trip. I called, the guy answered and I said "hi i just ordered from doordash and i was missing a whole meal i just want to call to make sure someone verifies what they're packing so i don't miss out on it again or have another dasher pick up" the guy was disrespectful and tone was absolutely awful and when answering back "well i just got here and i didn't even pack your order so i don't know who did it, if you have an issue you can go through DoorDash" which i did and reordered the meal as i said before i let him know i was aware so i say "i understand how the process works and I've already done it i just want to have someone veri-" him: "okay well if you've already done it you can reorder it like i said i didn't pack your bag i just got here" me "i just want someone to verify and check- " "what an Inconvenience" and then just hangs up on me. All i was asking was for someone to double check the bag to verify my food is actually inside the bag. No need to be rude and there's no reason to be disrespectful and snarky. My opinion; if you own a restaurant and can't hire managers to handle customer service you should sell before you lose all your business. Easily the worst McDonalds in the Wichita metro area. I had a grilled chicken salad a few days ago - the chicken was so dry and tough that I could barely eat it. Tried it again a few days later, and it took close to 20(!) minutes to get the food. When it finally came up, no apologies, no coupon for a sandwich, nothing. There were flies freaking EVERYWHERE. Mops, papertowels laying around, it just felt gross. And this was at 11:30AM on a Saturday. Fool me once....never going back to this s-hole again. 21st & Greenwich is exponentially better. read more

Want fast food in Andover? Choose anyone but McDonald's. Everytime I go through the drive through its extremely slow, even if there's no cars ahead. I have left several times after waiting 10 or 15 minutes. I think "oh there must be a large order" and the car only gets a drink, so what's the hold up? Last time I visited will be the last. After waiting to order (drive through) I got a simple cheeseburger (as is) and nuggets, off the 2 for $3 menu. There was a line (around 3pmish) so I waited 10 minutes or so to get to the window and am asked to pull forward and wait, wtf- I KNOW it doesn't take more than a few minutes to cook the food even if I had asked for fresh (meaning not what's sitting in heaters etc after being cooked). So I waited. After 5 additional minutes I went in (were up to 15 ish minutes) and then ignored by a few employees. After ANOTHER 5 minutes the manager finally comes to ask what's wrong. As they made my food and handed it to me. She did offer my money back but I just grabbed the food and left. I have never had such consecutive bad service and wait from any other McDonalds. Just go catty corner to Wendys, dairy queen, or sonic. Even better go to Timbuktu for real burger and fries. read more

I drove through this morning, ordered a sausage, egg and cheese McGriddle this morning headed out on Andover road opened the sack and it was a sausage egg and cheese McMuffin (which I hate). Manager on 07-08-16 took 10 minutes to give my family cold fries and then told us that the lobby was closing. I hate to eat in the car, especially with kids, so we ate in the lobby. She told me we had to hurry. They took the soda machine down in the lobby. McDonald's was the only place open at 10:50 on Saturday night and I wished now they were closed. I'm sure no one from this McDonalds reads these, but need someone to know. I use to drink a nonfat carmel mocha almost daily from this location. Now you don't have carmel or nonfat milk. I am most upset that you don't have nonfat milk anymore. With the focus on health and our country's weight epidemic why would you only offer whole fat milk? Disgusting location. Flies everywhere. Dead flies along window, live flies often flying around. Often gets orders wrong. Within walking distance of my home, despite the conditions, I liked to go there to relax and read while I finished my meal and drink. However, one day the owner (in civilian cloths) threatened to call the police on me for "loitering", claiming I was taking up valuable space for customers (this was after lunch, with the restaurant empty). The cheeseburger on the other hand had no meat. They gave me 2 pieces of bread with a slice of cheese, onions, pickles and ketchup. There are many obese employees at this location. This and the inability for these people to dress well causes me to lose my appetite. On one occasion, I witnessed an employee outside on his cell phone and then moved off the lot to smoke. If I could give this mcdonald's a negative star I would. My husband and I don't often eat fast food. We decided to treat ourselves to a breakfast to go. I went in and made my order with a coupon. The cashier said the total with the coupon, but on the card slider was the price without the coupon. I pointed it out to the cashier and she said that the price on the register said the price with the coupon and that when I slide the card it should go through as the price with the coupon. I slid my card and the when I got my instant card notification, it said the higher price. And I told the cashier that and she got the manager. When I told her what happened, she got rude and asked where my receipt was and I told her the cashier never gave me one and that the register said I never paid. I told her I did and showed her my bank app where it said I did. She asked about a receipt again. I told her that I was never given one. She continued to argue with me and to try to prove it to her I slid my card for the lower price on the card slider and it went through for the price on the slider. She still talked about having no receipt. She continued to argue with me and then she finally took my information and told me that if she found the transaction when she did her end of the day books she would refund it. She never called me and now I'm out $10. Every time I try to call the phone is busy. There is no number that I can find to contact anyone else. I don't want to go in due to how angry I am. Presentation is a big no while there were no other customers, yet every table that was not bombarded with sun were either unclean or sticky. They did not refill their ketchup cups, so we had to use to-go lids for our cups. The service was pathetically slow compared to those in Kentucky, especially considering we were the only people in the entire restaurant.
