This McDonald's was one of the worst-maintained locations I've visited. The bathrooms were disgusting. There was no soap available, and the soap dispenser was hanging open. Every table in the dining area was dirty with leftover food, napkins, sticky soda residue, and trash. The floors were covered with food, receipts, and wrappers, making the entire restaurant feel neglected. The self-order kiosk was filthy, and after placing my order it couldn't print a receipt because it had run out of paper. Meanwhile, there was a long line of customers waiting, and the constant kitchen beeping went on for nearly 10 minutes while everyone waited for their food. It created a chaotic and stressful environment. This starts at the top with management. The restaurant is clearly understaffed during its busiest hours, and basic cleanliness and maintenance are being overlooked. I understand that employees can only do so much, but this location needs immediate attention. It's honestly embarrassing for the McDonald's brand. read more

The service is insanely slow at this location!! We'd been waiting for the order for an hour in store because they are understaffed as they said!!! If you only have ONE COOK and you CANNOT handle this heavy volume of orders, PLEASE CLOSE THE STORE! We even had to hand our phone over to let them make our order! The food quality is okay. However, the service is always slow. A 20 to 45-minute wait on any order is standard here. With prices rising all the time the least I can expect is have food delivered at a reasonable time. The dining area also has gotten progressively worse. It's often dirty. They also took away the drink machines. This McDonalds feels mismanaged. They have a lot of traffic and business. They should really invest in improving their service. During the busy school year I don't even bother going to this McDonalds as the service time alone doesn't make it worth it. read more

Took over a half hour in the curb side parking spot for some cookies and a drink when I saw the drive thru fill up and empty at least 5 times. I had to go into the store and ask for my order directly. I recommend this place if you are into endlessly waiting for even the smallest of orders, and staff that don't seem to mind the unreasonably long service. I will acknowledge that employee came out & wiped off tables when I was there. The ordering/cashier areas were clean as well as the fountain drink and condiments area. I've been sitting in the drive-thru at the McDonald's on Plymouth Road (right in front of Kroger) for 25 damn minutes for a Filet-O-Fish, six-piece nuggets, and a double cheeseburger -- nothing complicated, nothing special. Just the most basic fast food order imaginable. This place is a complete disaster. The staff clearly does not give a shit. There's no urgency, no apology, just a painful, glacial crawl of cars waiting for food that should've been ready 20 minutes ago. It's called "fast" food for a reason -- but here it's more like "test your patience while your food gets cold" food. Clean, recently updated McDonalds. Located in the parking lot of a bust strip mall. Updated two lane drivethru. Inside is a fairly clean dining area, with a small drink service area, and a small order counter and 4 of the oversized TV ordering stations, each with empty hand sanitizer attached. The staff was polite enough, but slow moving. read more

While traveling through the area recently, Nate and I made a quick stop at this McDonald's drive through for a bite to eat. It's located in a bit of a weird area and doesn't have the golden arches outside, but we found it close to the gas station we stopped at. Only one of the two drive through lanes were open, but it wasn't busy with only one car ahead of us. Our order was taken quickly, but we were told that they had "no drinks" available when I asked for a Diet Coke with my meal. No explanation or anything, just that they didn't have any drinks. I thought that was hilarious, and I had a water bottle in the car, so I was ok with it. Just not something I've ever run into at a McDonald's, even during pandemic times. The employees we encountered were both friendly and polite. The food was super fresh and all hot, which was greatly appreciated. Me and my family went through the drive through this morning, I got almost fully done with my sandwich until I realized the egg was bad and moldy. I am currently pregnant so it completely and totally grossed me out, I felt sick to my stomach. Love the egg McMuffin. When I travel we often drive through for coffee and McMuffin. My wife buys there K Cups for home.

The best one for me is on Grand River Ave and Wixom Road. Two entrances and very quick service.

I'll be honest. I have yet to eat at this location. That being said I've TRIED to order here at minimum five times. Tonight was the last straw as I'll never even attempt this location in the future. Placed a mobile order over 15 minutes before they close (which is apparently 11pm now.... ) got to the drive through with ten minutes before eleven and was told "we are not accepting drive thru orders anymore" (this is disregarding the three cars in front of me that are at the window getting their food). I told him I had placed a mobile order and I got told "even through the app". What's the damn point of having an app to order ahead of you're not taking orders. I give up. McDonald's have been slipping dramatically since the beginning of Covid anyways. This just tells me they don't need my business. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY HERE! This review says 1 star, but that's because zero stars isn't an option. Here's just one example of the many horror stories I've had here. I had placed my order on the mobile app. Waited 30-40min in line which is outrageous for fast food, but that is expected at this McDonalds because this McDonalds has always been disgustingly slow. When I had gotten to the window to get my food, they had claimed I drove off so they cancelled my order. I had waited in line the whole time, so I was very confused why they would say this. I asked them on why they had claimed I left and what I should do, and they suggested I reorder and get back in line because they couldn't do anything about it. At this point the line is even longer (another 40 min wait maybe), so I had just angrily left. To me, their response is such a shit way to treat customers for a mistake THEY had made. This isn't the first time this McDonalds has done me dirty, but this is definitely the last straw and the last time I go there. I truly love McDonalds in general, so I try to come once in a while to give this place a second chance, but I always end up waiting too long (30+ min) only to receive cold and stale food every time.
