This place is located behind a strip mall that I frequent often and had no idea this was here!! Happy hour is great here and a good place for groups. They primarily and beer with wine and bar food. Our group sat on one of the two picnic tables in the outside front area. It's a casual, fun place where you order at the register. Plenty of free parking too, yay! Both crispy and delicious and served with a generous about of delicious sauces. The fries were lightly coated and so crispy. Rappourt is so unassuming. I've been to this plaza many times for Way 1, Yoon's, Songbird...but did not know Rappourt existed. But, it ended up on my radar for interesting beers on draft! I mean they have UPLAND Brewing (from my B-Town alma mater?!) Amazing! The only down side is that they don't do flights, but they do let you taste, which was nice because....I learned I did not want a whole 16oz of hot spicy pickle beer (love pickles, but this beer was..somethin'!) They have a full menu but I opted for a girl dinner of beer and fries. Their beer-battered fries were solid. Flavorful. I also ordered some chickpeas which were curry seasoned! Perfectly crispy and crunchy - lovely bar snack. They have ample indoor seating - long communal benches or bar seating and some tables. They also have some seating outside but not as much as indoors. Happy Hour is EVERYDAY! From 2-6pm. With certain bottles, cans, draft beers ($4.50) and wines by the glass ($6). read more

Go for the cauliflour wings and Brussels sprouts. Lots of IPAs here, which aren't my thing, but there are always a couple of stouts, a couple of lagers and a couple of sours. The food was excellent! The service was also friendly and fast. Both bartenders waited on us through out our visit. The interior is nice considering it's in your basic strip mall. I would say to normally expect a wait if you're looking for a table. It was crowded already just after 5pm. Good news! I really wanted to like Rappourt, but our visit a couple of days ago was a letdown. Two of us ordered burgers (requested medium) and both came out completely overdone and dry. There weren't enough staff around to mention it, so we just ate them, but it definitely wasn't worth the $95 total tab for three sandwiches and drinks. The pretzels with cheese and the fried chickpeas were fantastic, and our drinks were good--but the burgers missed the mark badly. For that price, there are much better burger spots in Ann Arbor that actually get the basics right. read more

Off Huron Pky in an older strip mall that your must venture in for a very good burger, really cold beers on tap and generous samples to pick your beat pour. We had a wonderful bartender and the cook did a great job, serves up quick at the bar. Do not let the outside fool you, they are dog friendly on the patio. Nice easy vibe for lunch. read more

Ordered to go on a Friday during lunch time. Had the chicken caesar wrap and substituted the side for truffle fries. Everything tasted amazing! Rappourt Brew & Chew is a great northside option for a tasty brew and yummy chew. Excellent rotating selection of beers on tap, especially featuring MI breweries. I love how many good options Ann Arbor has for beer, and they all have different "vibes". Between Rappourt, Ashley's, HopCat, Jolly Pumpkin, and of course our local breweries HOMES, Wolverine, Mothfire... oh yeah and Session, Grotto... (I'm sure I'm still missing a few) there must be hundreds of beers to try. For those that enjoy a darker maltier beer (vs the more popular IPAs), Rappourt has a good selection compared to some of the other brewpubs in town. I really enjoy Rappourt's food menu as well. It's pretty classic American bar food (burgers, sandwiches, salads, really good truffle fries), but elevated with options like szechuan cauliflower bites (so good! and a big portion for sharing), tandoori masala wings, and onion jam/berry relish on their namesake burger. Good seating for groups (communal style tables as well as plenty of bar seating), attentive servers, TVs for watching sports, and a fridge with take home drinks. Located in a strip plaza so there's plenty of parking both on the front side and back side. Very walk in friendly, but can get busy during peak days/hours. read more

Chicken fingers are delicious, fresh & hand battered. Their sauce game is on point! The Szechuan sauce, buffalo & blue cheese dressing are perfect, in fact the blue cheese is on par with the best steakhouse Roquefort dressing I've had. The burgers are always great. This time we decided to have dessert so my wife got the brownie with ice cream & it was very good and I got a root beer float but decided to try a peanut crackerjack porter in it instead of the root beer and it was one of the deserts I've had! This is one of my favorite places in Ann Arbor. Food is great, the staff is friendly and inviting and the atmosphere is amazing.

First time coming here last Friday around 530 and didn't expect it to be completely slammed, but now I know that the locals are fans of this kind of odd strip mall pub. I expected a wider beer selection but they have a couple of each type of popular beer styles. The staff are a bit...brusque, but in a busy environment I can respect that to a degree. Wish they had more standing room tables or ledges. If the tables are full there's really nowhere good to stand or be while you wait for something to open up. I had the chik'n sandwich which was pretty decent, but the fries were really the star. Everyone agreed they were solid. Also liked the look of their side salad - not a sad bed of lettuce, but had all kinds of veggies! My partner had the spicy chicken wrap and reports it was "alright." So, if I'm in the area and in need of pub fare, I might return. But I'm going to really be hoping it isn't super busy because it's not worth a big wait or hassle trying to find a place to sit. read more

I really enjoyed this place. I sat at the bar for some food and the bartenders were very attentive and friendly. The tables and floor were clean. They had a nice happy hour selection and it would be a great spot to just hang out! I looked at the menu from previous Yelp photos and they seemed outdated from the menu I looked at today. I guess I didn't realize how old the previous menu pictures were so I uploaded new ones here. The truffle fries were nice and crispy. I tasted hints of truffle but it wasn't strong. A little more truffle flavor would've been nice. Their Rappourt burger was good enough to stop by their place again! They cooked it medium rare (a little more on the rare side but still delicious) and the bun was big and fluffy. I was surprised how savory the bun was because a lot of fluffy hamburger buns end of being super dry. This bun melted in your mouth and squished down easily to fit in your mouth. Looked for something not too far off the highway on our drive home. Tasty, sweet deep fried cauliflower bites. We thought mushrooms would be even better. The burger was good, fries good. The few things we tried didn't wow us but the food is good. Drink options are huge, great variety not just beer. The Seating is predominantly family style inside with mostly long tables and benches. Located inside, so do not drive away. I almost drove off, but decided to park and walk in. This place is a chill spot for friends, couples, and colleagues. This would be a great place to unwind if you do not need a quiet place to be w/ your thoughts. If you watch sports, this place is for you, too! A lot of beer on tap, very affordable and variety on the menu. They have HH, too. They are also on DoorDash for no delivery fee which I thought was nice because most places in Ann Arbior had a delivery fee of up to $8.99. I did not drink or eat anything. I was there for nearly an hour to enjoy my last night w/ my team that works there. I think I will be back in April or May. I cannot wait to try the food here. This is our new happy hour/casaul date night spot! After taking a second to find Rappourt tucked into the back end of a strip mall, we found a seat outside at a high top as the sun set. There's mixed seating (high and low ) with long tables available for groups -- which I find to be a major plus in the Ann Arbor bar scene. Happy hour is 3-6pm every day, so order a beer and food at the counter, find a seat, and stay awhile. The chicken tenders are delicious (we got a side of ranch/buffalo sauce), the pesto & tomato grilled cheese (with grilled chicken) is my favorite, and the truffle fries with aioli are awesome! read more
