We were looking for a halal place to have lunch at during our visit to the Uni of Michigan and found this gem! Hands down superb smashburgers. We tried the #11 and #2 (don't remember the names), both of which were beef burgers with different toppings, and the East Coast fries (basically fries topped with cheese, onions and sauce). Every bite was truly a delight... probably best for my health that these guys don't have a location in my state, otherwise I'd be there all the time! I was looking for a fantastic burger place and instead got just meh. First off they need to fix the door. It was so hard to open that I thought the place was closed. I almost left but another customer came up and had to yank the heck out of it and it finally opened. Once inside the staff was very welcoming. There is a kiosk that you can order at or you can order from the staff. The kiosk was busy so the employee took our order. Everything was smooth until we took our cups to the soft drink station. The ice machine was broken. So sad. I definitely was not interested in a soft drink with no ice. The employee was very nice and took it off the bill and gave us bottled water. We sat at a table and the food was brought over to us. We both got cheeseburgers and fries. The fries were good. The burger was disappointing. The bun was crumbly. The burger was just ok. I then drove across the street to try out this place because I was too tired and too lazy to go elsewhere. I ordered their East Coast Fries, The Burger 1 -O-, and Chicken Strips. My eyes are as big as my stomach because I ate 97% of it before retiring in my hotel room w/o any remorse. Service was very friendly, genuine. You order, pay, and given a number to place on your table (for dine-in), and wait. The place wasn't busy when I came so I am thankful the ordering process and everything was a breeze. The menu is limited w/ unlimited possibilities. I didn't want to be that person that takes forever to order so I went w/ the Burger 1 -O-. It is not just a burger but a juicy patty topped w/ 2 mozzarella cheese sticks and an onion ring. A smorgasbord presented in a form of a burger. It was so delicious!!! Loved that spread. The East Coast Fries is basically fries seasoned and fried to perfection then topped off w/ their signature sauce. I had to drink a lot of water that night to offset the sodium spike. The chicken tenders were delicious; not overly breaded. It was very juicy and went super well w/ ketchup, BBQ sauce, and ranch. I'm a dipper. Brought my son here after a trip to the U, and it was delicious! He had the chicken fingers and I had a chicken sandwich (yes, at "Burger" One), and their hand-breaded chicken was cooked to perfection. The fries on the side were of immense quality and quantity, and bringing them home to have my wife sample them made her pretty jealous that she didn't come! Little on the pricey side (compared to general fast food), but what isn't in A2? My only suggestions for improvement would be to have a dedicated kids menu (having 1 item as-is is not a viable option), and to put some traction down on your floor by the parking lot entrance- it was wet and my big butt slipped and fell down harder than an Ohio State running back. The meat is very fresh and delicious and there are lots of unique toppings and they are open to customizing anything that you want or don't want on the burger. WiFi available in the dining area, as the cell service here is awful. There is a pickup window and dine in window. It appears you order at the counter and grab it when ready. The menu is great - build a burger, shakes, and selection of sides. The only note that I thought was odd was that they only have turkey bacon. I am not hating, just thought it was different. So many combinations, we'll have to try more. I placed my order and the cook was super friendly with a greeting and gave me a time to expect it would be ready. The burger was fresh and tasty, even 45 minutes later when I could get it to my husband. It was a Thursday evening and the dining room was empty. I watched the gal that took my order, make some amazing looking milk shakes. Definitely a must try next time. Proper sanitizing station available. Workers were masked and gloved. The burgers were great, only thing keeping from 5 stars is that we were a bit surprised at them being smaller than we expected, considering the price. They were on the thinner side. I'm a vegetarian so it was really nice to see that they have both black bean patty or impossible patty available to substitute for any of their signature burgers, or can build your own with either option as well! I got the black bean patty on the Chapo signature burger and it was so good! My husband got 5 Buffalo wings and said the chicken was decent, but the sauce was great. Their East Coast Fries were the star of the night, they are vegetarian friendly too! They're incredible. Well seasoned with Cajun seasoning and then covered in cheese sauce and caramelized onions. So. Good. Service, food, music, menu options, location. I would consider this a little tucked away gem on the north side of Ann Arbor. Service was great, you could tell the food was cooked fresh, and the place was clean with all the right covid precautions in place. My boyfriend has been talking about this place for weeks and weeks, and we finally stopped in together on a Monday evening. We shared the east coast fries, a ranch wrap, and a bbq burger. Very tasty, and very filling. The bbq burger was cooked to perfection, and I loved the onion ring on it. The ranch wrap with crispy chicken had the perfect amount of everything wrapped and toasted in a tortilla. The sauces weren't overwhelming, but gave the burger and wrap just enough extra flavor. I don't even know what magic was on the fries, but they were perfection. A blend of cheese, grilled onions, Cajun seasoning, and some kind of sauce that pulled it all together. This is a really nice spot to grab a burger on the go or for a quick lunch break. They have a fully halal menu from the chicken wraps to the beef burgers to the turkey and beef bacon. They also offer black bean burgers and impossible burgers as well! I had the southwest crispy chicken wrap and the Buffalo wings. I really liked the amount of vegetables in the wrap, the south west sauce which packed some heat with the jalapeños, and the way the sauce was really mixed I to the wings. I was a bit disappointed that the crispy chicken was not super crispy and rather a lightly breaded chicken tenderloin but it was good nonetheless! Just a little healthier than I was expecting. I will say the wrap is on the smaller size and so the wings came in handy. I thought the wings were above average and definitely made up on the crispy factor. I appreciated the dining room was really crisp and clean, and the servers were amazing, hand delivering the food to every table. It took me roughly 10 minutes to get my food which was amazing. My only suggestions would be to make the crispy chicken a bit more coated/crispy with an extra fry, and it would be nice if they had a 3 piece wing combo to add onto the wraps. The 5 piece is pretty standard but it would be nice to add a few wings to a combo to make a whole meal! read more

The Centerline location is fairly new but what a treat! Burgers were a bit messy but were delicious. Location was super clean and a great place to stay and eat. I did do a carry out. We called in a take out order yesterday. The order was completed in a timely manner (about 15 minutes, like we were quoted). Picking up was very easy and COVID social-distancing/masking was followed, of course. And they asked before giving me napkins, ketchup, etc; we have a huge stash of take out supplies at home and don't need anymore. I got the Ann Arbor Super Burger; it was very super, maybe a little much. I'll try a regular hamburger without all the extras next time. My partner got the Moss Burger and gave it good reviews. The cajun fries and onion rings were soooooooo good. they stayed crispy in the take out boxes (styrofoam). Next time, we'll try the milk shakes too. I've heard this new burger place was worth a try by some locals around so I decided to have it today. The menu seemed like there were many good options but the spicy Chapos burger caught my eye. I decided to order that. It was for a fair price and it looked ok. Unfortunately, it wasn't until I received the burger that things became a little worse. After a nice bite into my burger, I realized it was super chewy. This was because half of the wax paper from the cheese was in my mouth. They forgot to take the paper out so I was eating it. I know things like this happen so I was understanding. I just waited for the worker to come by with my friends order and I showed her my bitten burger and all of the wax paper on it. She just stood there quietly & didn't say anything. I then told her could I just get another burger instead. She takes my burger back to the kitchen with the wax paper and I literally had to wait for another burger for like 20 minutes only for it to come back looking like it was made super quick and not cared for much. I didn't even get an appology from her or the cooks or anyone. She just came back after 20 minutes put my new burger down And left. I'm not complaining about the mistake of the wax paper. It's a disappointment that something like this happen and instead of just apologizing or just talking with me I had to wait a long time for my new burger (cooks just stared at my direction) and there was no communication or apology to me...as if they were annoyed.
