RUN from this place. Terrible service, Terrible food. There's really nothing good about this McDonald's.

If I could give no stars I would. We've tried this place twice. The first time, our entire order was cold and stale. The bread on our sandwiches were hard, and the order of chicken nuggets we got for our son were rock hard. And forget about hot or fresh French fries. They were inedible. I called and spoke to a manager and they offered to replace the order. We had them replace it a few days later. It took them 30 minutes to assemble the order, and even then it wasn't correct...and they had the original receipt in front of them. The food was fresher than before though, but definitely not great. Tonight, after a long day of running around we decided we were in the mood for McDonald's and wanted to give this location another try. Mistake. Fries cold and stale again, and only filled up half way, and both of our burgers were wrong. Never again! read more

I can't believe how poorly THIS McDonalds is run. Arrived at 12:50pm and no one at the counter. Other employees yelling for counters support. One Ice machine empty, counter a big mess and on top of that both ketchup dispensers not working. I keep trying them but not anymore DONE. read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a McDonald's especially when there were more employees in the place than patrons. While getting some ketchup the dispenser malfunctioned and literally blew the thing I was putting ketchup in out of my hand not to mention all over my shorts. I showed my kids, kinda laughed and notified the front cashier before it happened again. I noticed no one looked at it till it happened again. Then a lady from a table got up and fixed it then I realized she was sitting with two other guys all with McDonald's shirts on, point is they were sitting there watching what had happened to me and didn't say a word to me or fix the issue. Therefore if the management is that lazy or oblivious or just don't care then that explains the lack of caring for the rest of the crew. I can guarantee my good friend who owns 2 McDonald's wouldn't put up with that. read more

As you can tell from other posts, this place has issues. As a whole MDs is your normal fast food spot. You know what you are a getting before you go there. But this location never fails to disappoint. Pass it by if you have a choice. read more

Worst ever. Always bad service and they frequently get your order wrong. If you try and take it back they will treat you horribly and give you a hard time. They don't care about anyone's business and the place is always extremely dirty. read more

This is one of the worst restaurants I have been to. Orders are frequently incorrect and service is extremely slow. Somehow in this town we can manage to have 3 Subways but only one stinking McDonalds. So if u are craving a Big Mac in Bardstown, you are stuck with this one. Just be sure to double check ur order before u leave. read more

Any time I've come to this McDonald's , I am met with rude employees and horrible service. There are definitely better fast food choices in this town than this McDonald's, but if you must have micky d's I suggest you visit the one in Lebanon Junction. It's clean and if they mess your order up they are happy to fix it with no issue. read more

I would give this place zero stars. Absolutely no pride in the workplace of getting orders correct and keeping the place clean. Do not put the cigarette ashtray thing right in front of the door and have employees outside smoking while the drive thru is busy. That has to be a city code violation anyway. Also please don't make me have to ask for things like drinks and sauces that should have been included in my to go order, and hey, thanks for running out of Happy Meal toys. That's a bonus. This place is a mess and has been for years. They just don't care. This is the embarrassment of Bardstown as far as I'm concerned. If my kids want McDs we go to Etown or Louisville. We moved out here 20 years ago. Their food was terribe but their fries really sucked! No matter what McDonald's in the whole you go to there stuff food should Taste the same. Not here. Everything cold, no salt on fries even if you ask for it. And kinda of coffee drink you got, hot or cold, was always missing about one third of the drink, never full. We were excited to get new people running but it didn't help. Don't waste your money! read more

This is the worst McDonalds I've ever been to. The lack of proper management, professional Behavior of employees, cleanliness, timeliness and attention to orders makes this the worst Mac's I've ever been to. If you like waiting 15 minutes for two sandwiches, fries and one drink when there are only 2 other customers being served then tis is the place for you. You can also be entertained by the foul language used by the employees. If this was a one time incident I would have let it go but this is the norm. Close this MacDonald's and open a new one under new ownership and management. read more

Slowest, dirtiest fast food restaurant I have ever been in... Owner must not read Yelp as I'm not the only one to say it.

I went to McDonald's today. I wanted to order some McChicken sandwiches. I got there at 10:40am knowing that breakfast ends at 10:30am. I asked for my McChicken sandwiches and the response was that they weren't serving lunch yet. I said that breakfast was over at 10:30am and then asked when they would be serving lunch. The response I got was this: "Uuuhhh...around 11, I guess." I left from the drive-thru, ran and errand and came back at 11:15. When I arrived at the speaker, I asked if they were serving lunch yet. The person answered, "Yeah, but it will be awhile." I waited for 10 minutes after ordering to finally get my food, and it wasn't good. I ended up throwing half of my sandwich out and the fries were chewy. This is not the first bad experience we have had at this store and I am sure it won't be the last if something is not done about it. I went through one day on my lunch and wanted a sweet tea. It sounded like chaos on the speaker, the girl was rude and they were out of sweet tea which is what I went through for. My husband and kids had an experience recently when they stopped inside. They said the place was filthy and there were flies everywhere. They left immediately. I really don't think I will waste my money there anymore. I might pay more at another fast food restaurant, but at least I get a thank you, decent food and clean facilities. Gross! read more

Good breakfast if you are there weekdays before 8. Lunch and dinner not very good. Just went through the drive thru, waited a long time, cheese burgers are cold and the fries are hot but a little under cooked. Would have preferred to waited a little longer for good fries. This is by far the worst McDonald's I've ever been too. The fries vary from overcooked and old to cold and undercooked. Late night service is a joke, takes forever and they typically only take cash at night for some bs reason and close the inside even though its suppose to be open 24 hours. Also I've gone there before and they'll be serving breakfast earlier then they are suppose to. The inside stays filthy as well. read more

Worst McDonald's in the history of McDonald's! The day time service is fine, but anytime after 11pm, service goes downhill. At nights, usually they say their ice cream machine is "broke" so they don't have to serve any (9 times out of 10!), wait over 45 minutes with only 2-3 cars in front of you and employees are rude. That's just the drive-thru! Don't even think about eating in that late- they never fill up the ketchup or napkins, and there is trash (napkins, cup lids, straws, etc) everywhere on the drink station. You couldn't pay me to eat at this place after 11pm! read more

First of all, let me say my husband and I have never once complained about a restraunt before. Even if something is incorrect with our order or if there is an issue that an employee truly can't resolve we are very understanding and never say anything especially if the employees are polite and are trying their best. That was not the case last night. We arrived at 11:00pm. We ordered and the girl that took our order was nice and it was correct. We waited in the dining area while our food was being prepared. It was terribly cold in the dining area. I walked back up to the counter to see if our food was ready. The girl that took our oder was telling another employee "go home, just log your ass out and go home." A man came in from the drive thru upset that his order was taking too long, as he was walking in the same girl who was telling the other employee to go home says "oh, I thought you were talking about this old guy." I don't believe the man heard her. They were well aware I could hear everything they were saying. Once our food was finally ready I went back up to the counter to see if there was temperature control for the dining area. Again, keep in mind that we never complain!! I've suffered through many cold dining situations, but this was unbelievable. I was waiting for a different girl that had the drive thru headset on to direct her attention my way so I could ask about the temperature. While waiting she was taking someone's drive thru order and holds the mic to her headset and says "Jesus, lady" so the drive thru customer couldn't hear her. After she was done with that order she looked at me and asked "what do you want?" Instead of "how may I help you?" That kind of threw me off. I told her it was really cold in the dining area and asked if there was any way to adjust the temperature. She said she didn't know. I told her that was fine it was just really cold. She said "well it's like 90 degrees back here in the kitchen." Really seemed like all of the employees that we saw were really young and immature. I believe I saw a manager on duty, but she was sitting back in an office in the back of the kitchen, but that's where she was when we arrived and when we left. Usually you will see them assisting in the kitchen, but that wasn't the case. I do need to add that the food was good. My sandwich was a little cold, but fries were great and my husband didn't complain about his food. Dining area was an ice box and was very dirty. Sad, because it's very well decorated. I'm not just an old grump complaining. My husband and I are in our twenties and understand that young adults will be immature and might be tired on a later shift, but it should never be to the point it was last night with these employees while on the job. It was the most unprofessional restaurant experience we've ever had. We were just passing through from out of town, but if we lived close there's no way we'd visit that McDonald's again. read more
