Every time I go there, the rudest people seem to be working there. First of all, they have AirPods in their ears. I'm all for entertainment during shifts, but at least have some manners. I have to pull up to the window because if I wait at the speaker, I'll be there all night waiting for someone to talk to me. The man who works there with long hair is extremely rude. He threw the food at me as if I were bothering him. Nobody is forcing you to work that job--if you don't like it, just quit. There's no need to be spiteful. Absolutely the worst  McDonald's I have ever been to! My wife and I went there on a Friday night, and when I drove up to pay we noticed that all the employees were not wearing gloves, when did restaurants stop wearing gloves, not only the manager was not wearing them and she was handling food and fixing her hair. The cashier was not wearing them and handling money and credit cards and made the milkshake and put his hand over the top to close it, and he don't know know to scan a coupon and told me that it didn't work without bothering to call the manager, where I checked beforehand if this is a participating restaurant, what happen to the training!!!!! Everytime I order something from this location they always mess something up. Whether it be a missing item or stale, cold, and unsalted food. I'm never satisfied with their service and products. I'm tired of paying for something I never receive. I understand teens might work here, but it's literally EVERY SINGLE TIME I come to this location. It's like they don't even care. I previously worked in fast food, and I always put at least a little bit of effort into my job. I learned my lesson, and will never come back to this McDonald's location. Fries are ALWAYS cold and unsalted. Order usually wrong. I'm lucky if I get the sauce I ordered and the straw for my drink, If it's passed 8PM it's a god damn mad house, people playing in the background while someone is trying to take your order, consistent rudeness on a daily basis. One of the top 5 worse McDonald's around. They are constantly getting orders wrong and not properly handling the error they made. I have even had the wrong order sent outside to me when I had to wait. This last encounter was in the drive thru. I was given the wrong order yet again. Knowing that this is a thing with them I checked my order before I pulled off. I asked for two biscuit steak breakfast sandwiches and I got two bagel sandwiches. When I told the cashier she looked at me as though I was wrong and told me to pull down to the next window. 7 minutes later I go inside and my bag is sitting on the counter and has Not been touched. I had to explain to the staff including a rude manager of Latino decent on dutie at 10:30am on 10/29/2023. What happen. She said you want your money back without any apology or acknowledgment. Only accepting cash. We drove to a nearby ATM to then come back and they missed our fries so we had to go back. Then once we got the food everything tasted stale like it had been sitting out all day. This is the worst review possible, I ordered food and paid for it on the internet just 10 minutes ago and sent my mom to pick it up. Guess what. There's no order there. I checked and I did order correctly from the correct McDonald's, but they have no record naturally. It can't get any worse than this I called McDonald's and spoke to manager and complained and he sounded to be maybe 18 years old, he didn't understand why I was complaining and said the app is not controlled by the store and in fact they are unrelated. This is one of the worst places to visit and eat at. Drive through took almost twenty minutes! When I worked at McDonald's, drive through times on average were approximately 3 1/2 to 4 minutes during rush hour. It's awful, a store with two menu boards. If I could give a zero I would. I went there this morning at 5am and sat in the drive through for 30 minutes. I ordered 2 sausage mcmuffins and 2 hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were correct but the sandwiches I got were an egg mcmuffin with cheese and a egg biscuit with cheese. I guess the works are too stupid to get orders correct at this location. The service at this McDonald's was atrocious! I walked into the lobby where there was no one to take your order I waited patiently for someone to at least address me. Which never happened even after several employees walked past me and and a few others who I think were in charge made eye contact and still nothing. I eventually stopped someone again walking past me and a few others and stated I would like to order. He froze and tried getting someone else who waved him off and kept walking. IT WAS LITERALLY FASTER FOR ME TO GET BACK IN MY CAR AND GO THROUGH THE DRIVE-THRU. Went there for lunch on a monday, 1 lane of drive thru was closed, they had an orange cone blocking it & an employee standing out there saying theyre only taking cash only. ok fine. got to the ordering board, they said "cash only", i said ok, i had a coupon for a free sandwich, and the RUDE male cashier robotically repeated, with ATTITUDE, "we're only taking cash right now, our machine is down!". Which is BS - they should be able to take a damn coupon! So i said "ok fine" and ordered a quarter pounder with cheese meal. got to the window to pay, they asked me what i ordered- did they not take my order already? is their computer ordering system down too?? i tell them, pay, then WAIT FOREVER to go to the next window to get my food. Finally pulled to next window, they asked AGAIN what did i order. I tell them again for the 3RD TIME. Got my drink & food, pulled away...noticed THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG SANDWICH !! My name is John, I am a door dash delivery driver. I do hundreds of deliveries per week. I know good service, and I know bad service. Tonight, on Saturday, July 24th at the McDonald's in Bear DE (1401 Governors Pl, Bear, DE 19701), I experienced terrible service. Per the sticker on the door, the doors are locked at 11pm. At 10:50 I walked to the door, and the manager, who was wearing a pink button up shirt, told me that I needed to pull around the drive thru, that the doors were locked and I could not enter. This confused me as I had watched 4 people walk in before exiting my vehicle, but I didn't complain, and did as she asked. I then proceeded through the line where the lady working the second window told me, "you can't pick up DoorDash from here, you need to go inside." I laughed and explained my situation up until that point. The employee at the window then went to look for the order, which she could not find. She asked her manager where it was, and her manager looked at me and said "We have a parking lot," and proceeded to point at a spot in which she wanted me to park. It is now 11:15, and I am still waiting for the order. In the time that has passed, the yelp app has been downloaded on my phone, an account has been created, and I have copied this email to an overwhelmingly dissatisfactory one star review. read more

I went to McDonald's today and ordered a Big Mac meal and a Filet o Fish sandwich. I waited about 20 minutes for my meal because of the very long lines. When I got home, I opened up the Big Mac sandwich box and discovered, there wasn't any meat patties between the bread. Unbelievable. I opened up the filet o fish sandwich and it was as hard as a rock. I haven't eaten at McDonald's in about a year and it will be a long time before I go back. read more

Unbelievable. Not only are the people that work at the drive thru consistently rude and miserable. Tonight I stopped by at 8:30 pm. No ice cream, no Mc Cafe drinks, no iced coffee, no apple juice and according to the girl i the drive thru virtually no meat either. How is that possible? Great place to stop on a road trip since the state doesn't tax. This is a busy establishment so be prepared to wait inside or in the drive thru during peak hours. Though you have to wait, the drive thru does move fast. Food came out hot, fast, and accurate. read more

Couple of serviceman coming from a football game. Couldn't wait to eat dons, I love this place. However, I walk in and the service is terrible!!! Everything about this place was bad. I almost had to go into the back and make my food myself. Workers are aimlessly walking around the restaurant when the line is long.
