I ordered my food through the drive thru, after paying drove to the pickup window and was asked to go to the next window (an unmanned window) because the hash browns were not ready. When I finally received my order the guy walked away, I always check for the hot picante packets and sure enough they were missing, so I had to go into the lobby to get them. I came through the drive thru to pick my order up. I was told to wait for it and to pull up. I then decided to com inside to get my order to get the water I asked for at the window. When I came inside to get my water and wait on my food I was handed my water and upon me drinking the water, My throat INSTANTLY started burning and it made it hard for me to speak and swallow. The gentleman (that I have see before) immediately Came through the lobby from where he was and gave me the creepiest look while walking. I then went into the bathroom to make sure I wasn't having an allergic reaction And then came out to let the manager know on duty what was going on and all the manager had to say was "I don't know anything about that" and quickly walked away. Ps. The man I that walked past my as I took the drink of water knows someone I used to date. there had been a previous interaction with this person at the window where he was just standing at the window to stayed at me while someone else handed me my order. This is the worst McDonalds in the area!! The customer service is horrible!! The workers have nasty attitudes as well. We waited for 30 minutes for a mobile app order that consisted of 2 large fries. When we inquired about what was taking so long for the order, the manager on duty was very rude!! The young lady that came out with a bag in her hand gave us the wrong order. She then gets mad and growls at the fact that she gave our order to someone else. We got a very sarcastic apology for our wait, but they offered nothing in exchange for a 30 minute wait for 2 large fries. I understand the difficulty in hiring people right now. However, the ones that work here seriously need an attitude adjustment. My order was 5.24. I gave her 10.25. She gave me 4.76 back and then was offended when I questioned her about it. The manager had to come over and straighten that out. Move on to the pickup window. I ordered a bottle of water. They tried to give me a cup of water. When I questioned her about it she said that's what they have to do. Huh? I did get a bottle of water finally, that I paid for! This McDonalds is terrible! The wait is always ridiculous. The shake machine is AWAYS 'down'. Last month they were out of ketchup. It's assumed that when they're busy and keeping up with the rush that the food would be hot and fresh but not here.. the food is never fresh. Connected to a local gas station, it's hard to get in and out of the McDonald's. The drive-through is very difficult to find, on the backside of the gas station. The line was long so I went inside. Young lady working the counter was very friendly. However, and this is the big one, they were out of Diet Coke. In fact, she said we run out of Diet Coke all of the time. If they can't manage to keep one of the top two sodas in stock, I'm not interested in eating from this poorly managed restaurant. read more

The back door to the kitchen was open and there was a group of 10 employees laughing and not doing anything, one of them even sat outside and played on there phone while the line of 15+ people waited. It is a newer mcdonalds. It is clean and attached to a moto mart. The tables are incredibly high! I imagine the usually short and rotund mcdonalds patron loves them. The answer is obviously NO as no response and I'm quite sure nothing has changed at this store I tried to give this store *ZERO STARS* Sadly yelp's website doesn't allow that. The Shiloh McDonalds Greenmount Rd and Frank Scott Parkway/attached to Moto Mart (Store #31769) is simply the worst/most inconsistent McDonalds in the area and likely the worst in the USA!) They will habitually get your order incorrect (especially in the drive through) Even SIMPLE orders of one or two items are incorrect. This location is unfortunately near my home and this is not a one time concern but a habitual concern. I seriously wish the owner of the Swansea IL (IL 159 Store #10677 would buy this location, and start over!) We've repeatedly made management aware to no avail.... and when not pressed for time, we will choose a different location or ven I've had everything here from habitually incorrect orders (No special requests JUST SIMPLE Meal Numbers that they still can't get correct) stale/cold sandwiches, to Fries that were not stale but walk in cooler cold, leading me to drive back around to the drive through **only to be handed a bag of fries with ICE Crystals on them! As most of us know, McDonalds isn't what it used to be... many of us remember when the burgers had a nice sear on them, now they are gray mush. (Part of the reason is that workers/the "cooks" used to have to sear the meat by hand, now they simply lay the frozen meat puck, close the lid on the grill device and the while the work is done for them, it doesn't mean the product is better! Fresh fries a thing of the past (I worked at a different McDonalds after high school in the 80s, before all the automation, when management actually cared!) Staff are in no way attentive to their job/the task at hand and while For most McDonalds is a stepping stone early in life, the management at this store are doing a disservice to the young employees by not demanding more attention to *SIMPLE* details of a job that is now largely automated and based on a Single NUMBER Systrm yet the food quality/accuracy has drastically suffered! This leads me to believe that the older employees/Management and Upper management simply don't care about the product they serve the customer! Went to this location around 1 am after board game night. By far had the nicest staff out of any McDonald's I've ever been too. I've been to a lot in my day, and I have to say I'm gonna choose this one every time. The food was extra hot, and fresh. Do not do mobile orders at this restaurant. They confirm that you've gotten your order even without bringing it to you.
