Oh my goodness, One of the best food trucks in town! Their burgers are amazing! And great customer service every time.

I stopped by on a late Friday afternoon at Trackside and enjoyed a great cheeseburger. For $14, you get a delicious cheeseburger with all the fixings, plus ketchup and a generous amount of yummy fries. This filling meal hit the spot and paired perfectly with my Kulshan guava apero. The convenience of this food truck, plus the prompt service, fun ambiance, and overall delicious food make this place a win in my book. I look forward to returning and trying their other menu items.

Seriously, bomb. Had the jalapeno popper burger - it was literally like a perfect jalapeno popper and a perfect burger had a baby. Delicious. Service was fast and friendly. And Fringe is a sweet place and fun environment to kick back with friends or watch a game in Ferndale. Definitely go.

Now open at a brewery near you!

I stumbled upon this new food truck on social media last week, and just knew I had to check them out. I found out they were going to be hanging out at Fringe Brewing in Ferndale on Saturday, so I headed on up. I was delighted to see that their menu included great, beer friendly food, like burgers and fish and chips. But I was especially excited to see one of my favorites, clams and chips, on their menu too! While I waited inside with my Fringe beer, the clams and chips soon arrived, served atop a huge bed of fries and accompanied by three essential sauces ( ketchup, cocktail sauce, and tartar sauce). A small cup of coleslaw and a fresh lemon wedge completed the appetizing scene. The clams were perfectly cooked, and I gobbled them up. The slaw and sauces were good as well. The fries were a little soggy for my taste, though they sort of reminded me of the fries at Dick's Drive-In in Seattle, so if you like that style of fry you will probably love these. Personally I prefer my fries a little more crispy. Overall it was a great meal, and went well with my Fringe Porter. The service was on point as well. A husband and wife team we're doing the cooking, and another family member delivered my food. It's great to see a family-run operation slinging out some tasty grub. I will definitely seek out this truck again when I find it at a brewery near me. I would love to try those clam strips again!

Bomb food. I had a Captains plate and my girlfriend had a cheeseburger at Stommish and it was superb. Definitely on point.

Upon entering ( at 4:30pm), I was struck by how many people were there; it was almost full. We were quickly greeted by Mikey (aka; "Yonzo"). Very friendly, very helpful. We received our drinks promptly and ordered food. The fish & chips were generous and tasty. The breading was unusual, but was again, tasty. I couldn't determine what it was, but I would order it again. The bowl of clam chowder was very generous and again "unusual". Plenty of clams and thyme. I would order it again. I went to the bar to request another beer and buy some pull tabs. I noticed the wall of pull tabs was entirely covered with Christmas decorations. When asked, Yonzo informed me that the new owner had not yet completed the process to offer pull tabs. Apparently, a new owner arrived in April of this year (2024). It was interesting to note that the entire place looked to be cleaner, with a very upbeat and friendly atmosphere. In all, we enjoyed the food and had a great time in the "new" tavern. We will be back. After all, this tavern is a piece of Bellingham's history.

We headed over for dinner to celebrate a special occasion, and we were glad we'd made a reservation because the place was packed! The ambiance here is dark and elegant - not something I necessarily expect in Anacortes, but it set the perfect tone for a special evening. Our server, Aimee, who I knew from local Yelp events years ago, was absolutely fantastic. She knew everything on the menu, and by the time she described everything we asked about, we had trouble not ordering it all. But first, we started with a bottle of perfectly chilled sauv blanc while we perused the menu. I was impressed by the varied selection of food. They have everything from burgers to ribeye, and all very fairly priced. We started with an order of calamari, perfectly fried and served with a citrussy, aioli-style sauce. For dinner, Dude loved their fish 'n chips while I devoured a plate of fresh king salmon served atop crispy risotto and the most amazing pesto lemon cream sauce. After we enjoyed sharing a dish of tasty creme brulee, Aimee shared that they serve brunch here too! I had no idea, but looking at the menu and hearing that they serve mimosas, we'll definitely be back. We also got a mini tour of their adorable speakeasy style bar and huge in-progress beer garden too. I'm definitely keeping Tasha Lee's on my Anacortes rotation!
