The food seemed a little overpriced for the burgers, which were thin and fries were your average fries. But it tasted like a decent burger and fries. The inside had a fun, older look to it but in the best way possible. You can tell everything is fresh--the buns were homemade, the burgers are perfectly cooked, and the flavors just hit. The fries deserve their own moment--homemade, crispy, and so good we couldn't stop eating them. Service was just as great as the food. They were willing to sell us the same meal this time for nearly $20 instead of the window listed price of $10. False advertising!! There was no manager or supervisor on duty to make this right. Their fries are always super good, they're deep fryers always got clean grease, and any of their breakfast omelettes and scrambles are awesome. But my favorite is always been their chicken fried steak with red mashed potatoes and sweet corn. Always excellent and if you get the dinner portion you actually get two steaks! The service is always amazing! I honestly in the many years I've been there I've only had one waitress that wasn't really nice. She wasn't mean, and she was attentive but she hardly smiled ... but the catch was, she was probably 7 months pregnant at the time! So I had to give her a pass for that haha!
