Berne, Indiana: I stop in at this McDonald's pretty often when I am in Berne. The dining area and restrooms are clean. Employees are friendly and courteous. I get what I order. Hot food is hot. Extremely disappointed. Wish they h ratings in the negatives. We ordered hot hot fries. I watched we were given the ones that had been sitting in rack since we walked in. Warm not hot. Ordered 6 chicken nuggets fresh. They were cold. But we did 6 pcs. Reordered these which were hot but I only got 5 of 6 ordered. Next we ordered cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard and cheese. We got onion, mustard, ketchup no cheese. Again we had to say something about this and was given a burger with cheese put on top not melted just put on a burger. To top things off we went thru drive thru to pick up the burger because of heavy rain. We picked up at window #1. We could not move car because of car in front was waiting for their order. Person at window advised us to move on there were others waiting to get their orders. Wonder if those orders were right? The girl at the register was the only one who got our order right. Everything she entered was exactly as we ordered. We don't usually complain but this was just to much. So many wrongs does not make a right. read more

This location is TERRIBLE at fulfilling orders. The last two times have been less than desirable experiences. And no attempt at fixing them. We do not live locally and can't just make a run to get it fixed. Did tonight tho. Ordered several items. They did not type in the two plain hamburgers and failed to give the pies that were ordered. Drove back to get the pies and hamburgers but they charged for the hamburgers even tho they failed to put them on the initial order. Cost of gas and the over expensive food... not worth it. We are used to waiting 20 minutes for our order which is generally wrong. However today we had to wait 45 minutes for a frappe. During the 45 minute wait I witnessed several employees moking customers and using the f word to describe them. At least 10 people during our 45 minute wait received the wrong order and rather than apologizing the employees seemed to get more irritated with each customer and mocked them as soon as they walked away. I would do zero stars if it were for the fact the girl at the window was very apologetic for what had been just rudely told to me. I understand as a manager that you need to have things done a certain way but to come to the customer and inform them they need to listen to you next time is uncalled for. I came in with my little brother and we were doing 2 separate orders and they told me I would have to drive all the way around the building to make a second order. there was absolutely nobody else around in line or at the other window. so I backed up and went back to the window. they took my second order and I went to pay BOTH orders and get our food when the manager came to the window and rudely told me that I needed to go all the way around next time. and as I was talking to her she walked away. if it werent for the girl working at the window trying to apologize to me i would say this would have made this situation way worse. I feel bad for the factories that have there lunch and this is the only place there is to go to like my husbands work. if they wanted to carpool then they couldn't simply because they each would have to go around the building to do a different order in the car or all pay a bill together. she wants to say it causes orders to be messed up but how is that me as the customers fault that they cant make sure they are doing things correctly? I wish I could have gotten the names of the manager and the nice worker that was apologizing. but just know you can't do two orders if you want to make sure you drive around the whole building for the second order. read more

If I could give a -5 review I definitely would. I called to let the manager know how bad everything was and they gave me an excuse saying they had a large order and they didn't care what they served to people. Called me a liar saying the fries had to be hot because they don't ever serve cold fries! Now I see why they only have 2.5 stars terrible management and customer service. The food is typically consistent McDonald's - no surprises which is good. The restaurant is clean. The staff is small town friendly - which is refreshing. They play oldies tunes while you dine. There is horse and buggy parking out back if you need it. Service at breakfast and lunch are predictably good! read more

I wanted to give this McDonald's more stars... However the last 2 times I've visited it's been awful and mediocre before that. This McDonald's used to be the best in the area. Not now. Last time I was there I ordered a cheeseburger and a hamburger with only pickles and onions. I got the hamburger and a cheeseburger that was totally plain- missing even the cheese. And the patty was so small it would have been the right size for a 2 year old. When I called to tell them they never even offered to make it right. When I visited again tonight they had my food ready- but let it sit on the counter by the window for almost 5 minutes while they finished a frappe I had ordered. Therefore the fries were cold and the cheese sticks were rubbery and gross. Not to mention they didn't give me the marinara sauce for cheese sticks. The food here used to always be hot and the orders right. Not anymore. I guess they've been learning from Decatur McDonald's. I don't know. It's rather disappointing. And also if you call or complain don't expect anything because you aren't offered anything. They don't make it right and basically it's like talking to a wall. read more

Nice clean fast food restaurant. Good Biscuits and Gravy and Burgers and Fries are also good. This place is always nice and clean and the workers are all friendly. I stop here often on our way to Fort Wayne. Interesting architecture of the outside of the building. read more

This McDonalds used to be well-managed, but recent changes in management has left service and food quality in disarray. Long waits in the drive-thru and consistently wrong food orders are common now. Not recommended. read more

If I could give this McDonald's less than one star, I would. We were there on Nov 18th for lunch. The highchairs for my granddaughter were disgusting! The needed wiped down, to say the least. My order was screwed up (which is pretty typical for this McDonald's), and they forgot to put the milk in my grandson's meal. I pointed out to an employee the nastiness of the highchairs and she just said "okay." This McDonald's has no competition in Berne, so they have no incentive to do better. read more

Extremely awful service. A man in a wig used derougatives such as "faggot", and quite frankly was offended. All i went in for was a sweet tea but everyone acted is if I was invisible and it took twenty minutes. The sweet tea though was sublime but was it worth long wait? Always getting my order wrong and when I finally told them about it they gave me a coupon for my meal. Went to get my meal using the coupon which says at the bottom will be checked by manager...well guess what that meal was wrong also. Only fast food place in town so just have to put up with it I guess...highly recommend if you can eat somewhere else do it. read more

There's only a few employees that knows what they are doing. The rest have no idea. It has happened 2 different times...
