One time in high school, like 2017, my friends and i got stoned and headed over to mc dicks to get our munchies. thank god for this mcdonald's fr cause it's one of the only fast foods open late in the area. Anyways so we pulled up and are waiting and dude in the car in front of us just goes 'oh sh*t' and peels off. we see these kids ran up to the window, fully strapped x masked up tryna rob the place. obvi the employees kno the drill, locked the window. so when that was a dead end theyre leaning on the hood of our car waving their piece around etc.. we hit hit the reverse and gtfo of there. homie in the back was like halfway asleep too and the chaos woke him up all he said was 'so no nuggets?' became this long time running joke, good memories. but it was also sad, when i said kids like they couldn't had been more than 16. shoutout to the ppl that work there, they all deserve a raise for what they put up w on a lighter note once i ordered a burger meal and they gave me a bag with 12 mcchickens. read more

If you ever want to apply for McDonald's on Montclair road in Eastwood don't do it because I had an interview yesterday with the hiring manager but she wasn't there so I went today and asked the girl that work there that I had an interview can she get the hiring manager i was supposed to be there at 12 today they made me wait for like 10 minutes or so but the manager knew I was waiting she didn't even want to see or speak with me she continued to go back to the kitchen that was very rude she was rude for doing that if she didn't want to interview me she could of said something instead of ignoring me and giving me the run arounds that's bad for business I want something handled with that situation nobody should have to go through that I don't know her name though I should of asked i wouldn't want to go there anymore at all. read more

This is my second review, and I am still giving this place a one star. It really deserves zero stars! After my first review, I would not have ever gone back, but my elderly dad wanted to get some ice cream from McDonalds. We got there ordered the ice cream and once it was ready, we were then told they had no spoons or forks. Really!? There solution was to give my dad a straw. He tried to use the straw, but of course it didn't work because it was ice cream. This is just beyond ridiculous. Why didn't the manager send someone to buy spoons from the local grocery store. MCDONALDS MONTCLAIR RD BIRMINGHAM AL SUN MAR 16th 2025 4: 50pm A group of girls gathered behind the counter talking unprofessional like high schoolers with their backs turned, they didnt acknowledge me as they should all customers. One boy was nodding asleep in the lobby ( Mcdonalds uniform) and a girl sweeping the lobby. They all saw me but no one took time to assist me. I was the only customer there, they looked back at me and smirked and continued their conversation as if i wasn't there. I ended up leaving. Terrible customer service!!!! No management in site. This restaurant gets a 1 star, not because of price increases, but because the employees legitimately do not care. I've seen bad before, but this has to be the worst. Employees cussing and dropping f-bombs in front of customers, every table and counter is covered in food, and orders are frequently wrong. Just went back inside after they forgot 2 sauces in my drive thru order and had probably the rudest encounter I've ever experienced with an employee. Never have I ever had someone smack their lips, tell me it was my fault, and roll their eyes while walking away when THEY FORGOT AN ITEM. Pretty pathetic. read more

This particular McDonald's they had a lot of uber eats and doordash orders but they only had probably about four staff members and by the time that I left out of them the drive-thru line was probably about 15 to 20 cars deep so they had a lot of orders but not the staff or the manpower to handle the situation. So I have to give them a three-star on this one but I figure if they have the manpower then the orders would have been taken care of because my order came out probably like 30 minutes later. And I just ordered two chicken sandwiches and two drinks. But other than that I will go back here again. Hopefully they have more people on staff. read more

Absolutely horrible. Unnecessary wait time. People who order way after you will get their food before you. Second worst location in the city besides St. Vincent's location. McDonald's needs to do better but what do you expect when you go to McDonald's. I would avoid this location at all costs specially around lunchtime. The best McDonald's locations in the city are off of Highway 31. I would recommend going to those if you really want McDonald's. read more

0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND! Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Chick Fil A. This is the worst McDonald's in Alabama. The customer service is a non existent concept in this store. You get there and have no choice but to order thru a kiosk then the payment machine is not working so it tells you to go to the counter to pay where there are no employees. You stand around awkwardly waiting for someone to come get your payment. You get a number to place on your table and it says they'll bring the food to you. But they do not. Eventually you hear someone yelling food items and you have to guess if that's your order. You have to go up to the counter to retrieve your food. You then realize they don't have your drinks ready. There should be a screen that tells them your entire order but they already cleared it from their screen so they (in a bad attitude) ask you what you ordered. I proceed to tell them my four drinks. They give me two and carry on doing nothing while I stand by for my remaining two drinks. I have to raise my voice and ask for my remaining drinks. The staff attitude is unacceptable. As for me and my family we will not be returning to McDonalds. read more

Ice cream machine is always down omg I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it rude service to and they always rushing

Went here once in July and got a quarter pounder with cheese. The cheese was COLD. Tried to order doordash this morning while I was making pumpkin purée from scratch and had to watch the stove. I ordered 2 extra hashbrowns for my GLUTEN-FREE bf and an egg sausage McMuffin combo with coffee and a hashbrown. The doordash lady delivered me a Sausage egg McGriddle with only two hash browns. This is just pathetic at this point and y'all need to close down because this is trash service. read more

Omg! This was a terrible experience. I ordered my usual : small coffee , hash brown & fruit / maple oatmeal. The young lady who gave me my food was totally unaware of what came with the oatmeal. I asked her where was the fruit that it comes with . To which she said , "I don't know , I didn't make it." Excuse me???? This was totally unacceptable! From ordering at the drive thru to getting your food you get absolute attitude. They always make you feel ultra rushed and extremely bothered to help someone. When asked for a app code, they don't even honor it. Free fries Friday is a joke at this location. Is it coming out of their checks to skimp people? Giving me the wrong size drink and stating "you weren't charged for that" ummm yes I did get the grumpy girl at the cashier window didn't even bother providing a receipt just asked "mobile order?" And slammed the window. Blonde braided lady looked burnt out and went around the corner to fill my drink to a large. Probably spat in it. Came by here to grab some drinks one night. It was our typical McDonalds experience. Staff were (somewhat) friendly. They were efficient and got our drinks and food out to us quickly. Our order was correct and I had no complaints about it. We only used the drive through, so I cannot speak to the cleanliness of the inside of the store. We're not in the area much, but I'd stop by here again and get a quick bite or the $1 any sized drinks. read more

I was on my way to work, and I decided to stop here for the 2 for $3 chicken biscuit deal with a small caramel iced tea. The iced tea was fairly ok, a bit watery. When I got to work I noticed I had two chicken McGriddles instead of two chicken biscuits, they were decent but not what I wanted at the time. COVID-19 precautions were that the workers were definitely wearing masks and gloves. read more

I asked for a large sweet tea, and payed for it after confirming it at the first window. When I got to the second window and was handed my food (2 mcchickens) , I realized she somehow mistook "Large sweet tea" with "large fry" and charged me for the wrong thing. I tried to explain that I ordered a tea, and they made a big deal about how I "wasn't charged for one" and how it "wasn't on the screen" instead of just doing a simple refund/swap. Long story short, I didn't get my drink, and they probably would've ended up spitting in it if they did get me one after trying to explain it to them. read more

One of the worst locations I have ever been to. Usually it's not as hard to tolerate the bad attitude of the staff and manager, but tonight was a different story. I placed my order on the app and then pulled up to the speaker. Waited for 15+ minutes and then as soon as someone pulled up to the other one, they started speaking with them. Not a big deal, I thought maybe they didn't hear me pull up. So I went ahead and got to the payment window and when I said I had a mobile order they went and got the manager acting like I shouldn't have pulled up. Not very nice. Then I pulled up to the pickup window and barely any words were spoken. They handed me a McFlurry that wasn't even full or blended and when I didn't pull away (I had more food coming) they asked why I was still there. Finally got my food and had to keep asking for things that were listed on my mobile order. Hopefully this location will improve because it's the closest to home and I love McDonald's. Not all of the staff is rude, but 90% of the time it is not good. read more

They take your order, tell you to hold, let two people order from the other lane (who arrived after you) retake your order, read it back wrong, repeat questions.. Really annoying after a long day of work. As I type this I'm going on 17 min waiting for them to come out with my order!!!! Despite advertising the wide availability of all-day breakfast, this large McDonald's does not offer this option, switching over to a lunch menu prior to noon!
