We stopped at this McDonald's for a quick cup of coffee for my husband. It's conveniently located next to the Boca Shops so it's easy to find. They have a double drive thru so it helps with ordering food. Anyone can also order using the mobile app, get a code and give that code to the lady on the speaker. That makes things easy. There's a Pay Here window first, then the Pick up window. The two ladies working at these windows were smiley and friendly. No issues at this McDonald's. read more

Food was great because it's McDonald's, you can't go wrong most of the time as long as it comes out correct. I went for breakfast and got a sausage, egg, and cheese on a McMuffin, hash brown, with a small caramel frappe. Yum! The real show stopper here is Rue. She took my order and she is so pleasant. Clean lot, easy to read menu board and the gal taking my order was completely intelligible. My order was accurate and it was neatly packaged. Of course, the coffee was still 180 degrees so it wasn't until Vero Beach that I dared to take a sip but the sandwich and the hash browns were just fine. This may above been the quickest I was in and out of getting a drive through order for breakfast here. Having lived in Boca for four years and being back in CA for a few months, I felt compelled to leave a review, as this place was the best-managed location we've ever been to. Ordering both in-store and drive-thru has never been faster or more efficient for us than this place. We lived where there were three McDonald's locations at about the same distance away, and this one was definitely our preferred location because we could count on being able to get out of the line quickly. They are overwhelmed and understaffed. Nobody mans the counter, they depend on automated order touchscreens that are in no way intuitive so ordering on them is a crapshoot. You can stand at the counter more than 10 minutes with 4 or 5 people focused on nothing but drive thru, all avoiding making eye contact. Nobody will take an order. If you do manage to get an order in and don't get ketchup or napkins, good luck getting someone to give it to you. Tables in the dining area are never sanitized, let alone cleared off. It is disappointing to go here, I wish it weren't. I know that all eating places are stressed due to the pandemic, but there seems to be no attempt to remedy issues that have been ongoing for a long time. They would be better off to close the dining room all together and just do drive thru. read more

Reviewing McDonald's is the most difficult one to do as most McDonald's are pretty much the same. The menus are the same but service is what usually stands out. This location on the Military trail is a relatively newer location and the service is so much better than some of the other locations of McDonald's. The parking area is relatively clean and they have two drive thru order screens to make ordering quick during lunch hours. They usually carry all the McDonald's promotions which usually is not the case for all locations. I usually get the 2 for $5 special for Fish Filet which is the only product i eat at McDonald's unless and until I am in a muslim country where McDonald's are halal and than its usually Big Macs and big tasty sandwiches. read more

Not a huge fan of McDonald's, however, I needed a quick grab and go lunch on two occasions near my office. On both visits I used the drive-in which has two order stands that funnel into one service lane. Both times the line moved well and most importantly the food was provided hot, fresh, and appeared made to order. The chicken sandwich, buttermilk and a specialty sandwich, were both made well and hot. The chicken was a nice size and condiments were exactly as offered. The bun appeared unique also. Even fries were crisp, fresh, and piping hot. This is a store to measure others against. read more

The lady working the drive-through speaker box today at 4:30 PM is killing it. she's quick, she knows what she's doing, and I never even had to repeat myself. Hands down, best experience thru drive-thru three times in a row. I was impressed with my husband going out of his way to go to this location on Military, rather than closer Yamato. I've been through this locations drive through numerous amount of times, they do NOT care about how fast their service is. I personally heard the employee say "I don't care how long it takes, as long as they get their food". I think they have forgotten what "Fast Food" is. You will wait in the drive through line for about 6-12 minutes before you get your wrong order or soggy fries. I've been to some great, fast and productive McDonald's locations but this one has to be one of the worst ones I've ever dined at. 3/10 read more

Went through tonight for a late night snack. Ordered a medium fries, a McChicken and 2 cheeseburgers with extra pickles. Got home and found that the 2 cheeseburgers had cheese and extra pickles, but no burger! Called and they asked if I could come back. At 2:30am??? I don't think so! Then when I got upset I was told "well humans make mistakes", which may be true but who leaves the burger off of not one, but two burgers! This is the only review I've ever written, you should really never go to this McDonald's. There are other ones close by. At this McDonald's the food is always stale every single time no matter what time of the day. The people who work there apparently don't speak English because when you say thank you or "have a good day" you are returned with a blank stare.
