I was at McDonald's today. The black manager a lady is very abusive to employees and customers. I would think corporate McDonald should get involved. I seen her throughout an elderly guy who is doing DoorDash deliveries. She had no patience with him. He had a good reason to be a little upset you've been waiting for his food for a long time to pick up for a customer. Explain to her that he was gonna get dinged for being late. She yelled at him and throwing off, said she was gonna reporting he said he was gonna report her to DoorDash and McDonald's. Do not go to this location. Last night I just wanted a chocolate milk shake after getting off work. There were only 5 cars ahead of me in the drive through. I waited 20 minutes at the speaker for them to even take my order and I was in the drive through for a total of 45 minutes. All for a chocolate milkshake... And I saw the person's order in front of me when I drove up and they didn't get much either. Just a burger, fries, and a drink. After two decades in customer service, I have encountered my fair share of challenges, but nothing compares to the level of disrespect I recently experienced. During a routine drive-through visit to order my children's meals, I was met with a rude and dismissive attitude from the staff. As I placed my order for a Happy Meal and a Diet Coke, the employee barked instructions at me through the headset, setting a negative tone right from the start. When I arrived at the window, the situation escalated further. The staff member carelessly dropped my daughter's apple juice on the ground and expected me to retrieve it, despite the limited space between my car and the window. I requested that my Diet Coke be filled to the top, but instead of fulfilling my request, she told me to pull forward and promised to bring it out. After waiting for 15 minutes without any follow-up, I decided to approach the manager. Unfortunately, the manager's response was lackluster; she claimed the issue stemmed from ice, and despite my repeated requests, she refused to provide her name. This experience has left me questioning the standards of customer service in today's fast-paced environment. 60 mins from the time I showed up in the drive through until I received my food. It was 1:15PM when this fiasco began. I waited. After 30 min I went inside.....my frustration was not isolated to just me. At least 10 others were waiting.....When the manager can out (no one was at the counter save one gal that was trying to deliver the food) but she avoided ALL contact with everyone and not once asked how to help. Ridiculous. I worked in high school at a fast food place. It was a college town and we knew how to wrap, make burgers and get them out the door quickly. By far the worst McDonalds I've ever been. Unfortunately it's the closest one to our home. The drive thru usually takes 30 minutes, the orders are wrong, the soda machine is constantly broke down. I've gotten things like greasy and cold fish sandwiches, which is dangerous., Oh bread, crinkle up wax paper, not even covered sandwiches, sodas you can see through because there's not enough brown syrup in it, cold, french fries, Let's just say McDonald's of today is nothing like McDonald's of yesterday year, and there is no quality control whatsoever. And let's say that when you get a regular burger, the hamburger is so small that the bread just takes over. If you get a little piece of burger for your puppy, you'll wonder what the hell you paid for, I don't think Mcdonald's is gonna make it through this recession and this economy. I think they're going to go bust and the way they're doing business, they deserve to bust my local restaurant. This McDs is very hit or miss. There are some staff that are sweet, kind and cordial. It may be due to staffing shortages, but there is often a line that doesn't move at all.
