This specific location has fallen downhill extremely. I understand they're busy but so is every McDonald's especially in the morning for breakfast. I stop occasionally before hopping on the highway to grab something to eat, but regardless if I put in a mobile order or through the drive-through they are always slow. I ordered 15 minutes ahead went to pick it up and they seem to only prioritize drive thru, waited 5 minutes and saw my order number kept changing on the app from #1615 to #1628. No one was able to chat about what orders were in progress but at this point I had to leave so I wasn't late for work. I thought ordering ahead meant that the order should be ready or close to being ready by the time you arrive especially if it's ordered with ample time ahead. Once the order is in the processing stage, you cannot cancel through the app. It tells you to call the store, so I did, but there was a young girl that answered the phone and didn't seem to know what she was doing. Granted I heard her shout in the back "remember you're the manager not me" and then I was put on hold without her saying "can I out you on hold", waited 10 minutes and hung up. So I wasted $8 just to leave unhappy, annoyed after the phone call, and without food. Get it together over there please! read more

Progress in the fast food industry is expected, however it happens gradually and shouldn't leave the customers up to figuring out how to order- even when going inside to order. There was no one ever at the counter to take an order or to collect cash payment, as directed by the kiosk. This location was incredibly backed up in orders and the employees seemed to all be doing a task. That being said they never paid attention to the customers inside the store. There are no longer napkin dispensers for customer access. No ketchup either. I'm not sure this roll out is going so well. If I lived in this town, I would not go to this McDonalds again. read more

The fries were hot today! It's always a plus when you go to McDonald's and their fries are fresh and hot. Our drive-through screen was broken and not working. We've all gotten kind of spoiled to seeing our order on the screen to make sure it is correct.Hopefully they get that fixed soon. This McDonalds location has one of the best consistency ratings in my book. We're a pretty busy family and we appreciate the curbside pickup whenever possible. We're one of those people who always have food preparation modifications when it comes to ordering so we prefer ordering on app through curbside instead of in-person to avoid any confusion. I've worked in Food and Beverage all my life so I understand how frustrating taking orders like mine can be so I make it easy for them and they always deliver flawlessly. Yep. Five stars. Couldn't find a single fault. Narry a cold French fry nor a greasy spot on the floor to complain about. It can't be like this every time but on a particular day at a particular time, THIS McDoodle's had it's house in order. I even observed how patient the staff was with the crazy lady that wanted to "practice" on the ordering kiosk. I have sincere doubts that the shift manager stood there, arms crossed, looking approvingly over the kitchen and dining room before shutting off all the lights and heading home at the end of the night, but I'd like to think that they did. More than anything, I'm just disappointed when I have shitty McDonald's because I know how good it's capable of being if the staff just takes a little pride in their work and makes the food the way it's supposed to be made and on this trip, I wanted to high five everybody back in the kitchen. read more

The manager here yelled at me along with other guests when I came in this morning. On multiple occasions, I've seen this manager yell at her employees calling them worthless and blaming for things out of their control. I also waited to order for 5 minutes in the Drive through. 5 minutes after I was yelled at again to "use the Kiosk!"(the kiosk cannot make the changes to my breakfast sandwich that I want so I have to order in person), an angry employee came to take my order all the while rolling his eyes at me. All I'm saying is that there are two McDonalds here in Brownsburg and it's worth going out of your way to go to the second one to get good service and the correct order. read more

I used the McDonald's app to order food today. National Cheeseburger Day, 50 cent double cheeseburgers, why not? I pulled up to the curbside and went to the app to check in to trigger them making the food, but it wouldn't take the parking spot number so I immediately went in. I told the person working the front that I didn't think the app was working so I wanted to check in and take it out. After a few minutes they hand me two bags, but when I got in the car and checked they were stone cold. I walked back in and asked the manager if they still waited to make the food when you check in. She said yes and I explained the food was cold. She said she overheard me saying the app working check me in so hope were they supposed to know which spot I was in. I explained that I had just been there five minutes, but she just started talking louder telling me that they had five spots outside and how do they know which one over and over. I went to this McDonald's for breakfast and went through the drive through. Ordered a steak cheese bagel and left. I bit into it and the entire bagel was burned, not crispy, but burned. Please look at the picture that I posted in the photographs. I drove back to this location and the manager could not believe that the cook served this. I told the manager that I would be posting this and showing the picture of what they served me. She asked me not to. Consequently, I feel that for someone to serve such a disgusting item, they are either brain dead or just plain stupid. The manager made me another bagel which was fine but I didn't eat it. I continue to be amazed by this McDonald's location's inability to correctly assemble a bag with five+ items in it and have them all be correct, hot and fresh. Heck, I would settle for correct. None of the employees look you in the eye and they appear to have trouble counting beyond two... Omitted food is like stealing from me, $1 here, $3 there. Like I want to drive back and get my remaining food while the rest goes cold. So McDonalds steals from me and my family for like the 15th time at this location. This was a very positive experience with McDonald's. They were kind enough to correct the mistake another McDonald's had made and apologized for our experience (even though it wasn't at all their fault.) The service was phenomenal and drastically better than most McDonald's I've been to. The bathrooms were also very clean and the place over-all was well designed and maintained. read more

As I walked in an employee with dreads was standing next to the front door smoking a small cigar with a tip on it. As I was in line at the counter the smoking employee walked into the restaurant with half burnt stogie in his hand and went back to the drive thru the whole time texting on his phone and never washed his hands. He later walked from behind the counter with stogie in hand and still texting. Two guests were in front of me at the service counter and a different employee walked around the counter and placed an order in front of guests who were already in line. I like this McDonald's a lot. More specifically, the McCafe. I have sat in it many times and drank Diet Cokes with people I don't want to be with. I choose that drink because it is like drinking brown water that sort of burns. It is maybe my favorite drink, even. It also tastes very average with alcohol inside of it. Maybe even good, if I drink enough of it like that. Late in 2014, I was failing all of my college classes. Especially math. I do not think math ever needs to live inside of my head. I found a math tutor on Craigslist. Craigslist is probably the best place for that. I read that somewhere. We met at the McCafe at 11 PM to do my homework that was due the next day at 9 AM. It was our first time meeting and his name was Tim. He had red hair and a probation anklet on. Me too, I told him. I bought a Diet Coke and he tried to teach me about math. I felt bored. I told him I felt bored and to "probably just do it for me, please". He did it for me please. I refilled my Diet Coke two times. I watched a boy play World of Warcraft on his laptop and decided he was The Angel of McDonald's. I didn't pay Tim. I dropped out of college a week later. read more
