This is what you call a fish sandwich? I can't imagine why you have stars.

This is what they think a fish sandwich should be..... no way someone did this on accident.

The fries were hot today! It's always a plus when you go to McDonald's and their fries are fresh and hot. Our drive-through screen was broken and not working. We've all gotten kind of spoiled to seeing our order on the screen to make sure it is correct.Hopefully they get that fixed soon. I will say it seems the sandwiches are never really hot at this location. Warm at best. Staff was friendly and overall experience was good.

This McDonalds location has one of the best consistency ratings in my book. We're a pretty busy family and we appreciate the curbside pickup whenever possible. We're one of those people who always have food preparation modifications when it comes to ordering so we prefer ordering on app through curbside instead of in-person to avoid any confusion. I've worked in Food and Beverage all my life so I understand how frustrating taking orders like mine can be so I make it easy for them and they always deliver flawlessly. Thank you McDonalds for making life just a bit easier for me and my family. Definitely will return again and again!

This is what this McDoanalds served me. A burned bagel.

I even observed how patient the staff was with the crazy lady that wanted to "practice" on the ordering kiosk.

I will eat in one day but this cold day I wanted to take advantage of Devour Indy and I ordered to go. I ordered the Bowl of Chili and the Provençal burger. When I parked, I just called the number on the sign and they come out with your order that you can pay there or ahead of time. Once home, I could see how well they packed all my food. All the condiments (sour cream, shredded cheese, and chopped onions) were packed nicely for the chili. It was all delicious, I love trying the different burgers they have and did not disappoint.

The lady who answered the phone said she would bring our food out. After waiting another 15 minutes, I went inside and found my food waiting at the pick up desk but Noone was there. The food itself was just ok. Two of my kids have eaten here before and had high expectations but both agreed it wasn't as good. I got the garlic burger with onion rings. I removed the cheddar on the burger and it seems they added more Swiss cheese instead so the whole top burger patty was overwhelmed with cheese. The onion rings were OK but the batter on the was too cakey and they weren't crispy.

However, I've been making regular visits out to my family in Putnam County and this has allowed me to drive by the Avon location of Raising Cane's. Today, I finally got a chance to check it out. Raising Cane's is a growing chain that specializes in chicken fingers (or tenders). That's it. That's their gig. When founder Todd Graves proposed the idea in a business class, he received one of the lowest grades because his professor said it wouldn't work. Graves persevered. Named after his labrador (literally named Raising Cane), this chain is growing with three Central Indiana locations currently (Avon, Carmel, Noblesville). As noted, Raising Cane's is based around chicken tenders/fingers in a handful of different combos. They have multiple sides, serve Coke products, and have both sweet and unsweetened iced tea. They have a two-sided drive-thru, though only one side was open at my time of arrival. You can dine inside, however, on this visit I did not. I could tell the curb cuts were appropriate, however, I won't speak to accessibility on the inside. The employees I met were friendly and helpful. I was able to upsize my drink, always a plus, and my order was accurate. I tend to prefer barbecue sauce with my tenders, however, I opted to try their Raising Cane sauce. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Raising Cane's is community minded with six areas of focus - education, feeding the hungry, active lifestyles, pet welfare, entrepreneurship, and "other" (meaning they enjoy supporting community organizations and will consider "other" ideas). While I'm not quite ready to go 5 stars here, I enjoyed the tenders quite a bit and I enjoyed the small order of crinkle-cut fries. The food quality was good and the quantity was a solid meal. Employees were great, the drive-thru went pretty darn quickly, and I have no issues with calling this a solid 4-star experience. I'll definitely be back.
