I just drove through the McDonald's on 24 at 58 by the Emerald Isle Bridge. One of the lanes was closed, but no one indicated it was closed and I sat there for three people. When I asked about the meal deal, I was told it was yesterday not today, which wasn't what I understood but OK. And then I told them that the Lane should have a cone in it if no one's going to answer the call box. The woman who answered the call box said the person who's taking the money usually handles that lane is outside taking money. I drive up and I said you know you should put a cone in that aisle that isn't being serviced that lane and he says to me I know nothing about that and I said well I just sat there and I had to back up and get into a new line. You should really put a cone there he said not my problem. I said OK then you're right. It's my problem and then he said you have the day you deserve and I said oh my God you too. He's a young kid with really bad customer relation skills. But then I look up on yelp and they're 1.9 so I guess that's what I can expect because nobody in that place is servicing clients. The workers are very nice and I am sure they try really hard but 9/10 times something is missing from our order. I have received someone else's order multiple times. We use the app in hopes to help speed things up and increase accuracy but still fall short. If you're in a hurry and need to feed your hungry kiddos quickly, this is not the place to go. read more

With so many people working here I expected to get good service. The chicken tender meal cost nearly ten bucks. Replaced drink with milkshakes and it rang up to 24 dollars. Literally every time I go there late at night (after I get off work) the night crew has some excuse as to why they can't take my order. Sometimes they've had a piece of paper taped to the drive through box saying they're closed even though they are suppose to be open and there are people inside. This is the best McDonalds I have ever been to. The food is always hot, fries are always freshly fried and the people that work here are courteous and quick. As we left there was one poor soul trying to sweep but apparently they were never shown the proper way to operate a broom. After telling the employee at the drive thru window the order was incorrect, he still couldn't get the order correct a second time and we had to park and walk inside. Then a snotty teeny bopper said I should have checked my bag prior to "driving off". I don't expect a lot from fast food, but I do expect employees to be polite and respectful their own mistakes. This McDonald's take the cake for being the WORST I've ever been to. I had hoped the new building would give the employees a new since of pride in workmanship, but we couldn't be so lucky. They are slow, unorganized and constantly get orders wrong. Twice in the last 2 months I have ordered a sandwich with no pickles or onions, just to get home to find it has both on there.........yet the box has the little "no pickles, no onions" receipt taped to it. So they take the box, put a regular sandwich in there and then just tape the receipt to it..........WHY??? Just tonight my wife ordered a Big Mac. We get home and the thing has PEPPER all over it......and I do mean ALL OVER IT. The manager says......oh the guy running the grill must have put too much on it. WHAT??
