Just a short drive from our beach house was Michaelangelo's PIzza's and Subs. Figuring we'd make things easy the first night we were there, we decided to pick up a few pizzas and wings for everyone to enjoy. We called in the order, and went down to pick it up. The wait around 6 on a Sunday night really wasn't too bad, I think about 30 minutes, for 3 pizzas and 2 orders of wings. We got (3) large (18") pizzas, one cheese, one meat lovers and one peperoni, and then (2) orders of their buffalo wings. The food was ready when we got there, and overall, was pretty good. The crust was a bit doughy, and and real flavorful on it's own, but as far as toppings, they loaded it up, and with the sauce, toppings and cheese, it was decent pizza for the price. The wings were also decent, a fair split of drums and flats, and a good flavor to the buffalo sauce. The manager was a jerk to both his staff and his customers. I ordered a white mushroom pizza and it took 30 minutes longer than the time I was told for it to be ready. When I checked my pizza there were barely any mushrooms on it and the manager refused to either add more mushrooms or remake my order. The alfredo sauce only covered half the diameter of the pizza. He called me, a woman, "sweetheart" and condescended to me about my request to add more mushrooms to my pizza saying "it doesn't work like that here sweetheart". read more

Delicious. Super fresh tasting, crust was not too doughy, nor was it too thin, with just the right amount of crunch. It also was not oily as other pizzas have been, the pepperoni pizza was really tasty. And our second pie was pineapple and ham and that was my favorite. We took out the pies so we have almost a whole pie left fir lunches. I also really liked the size of the pieces, I was stuffed after eating two. We will certainly return when we are vacationing at the beach again. We opted For carry out last night and all decided Michaelangelos would worm for all. Chicken Pita - note the chicken is fried, however well prepared and tasty. Cheeseburger nothing fancy but hit the spot. The hotdog was underwhelming but my kiddo didn't complain. As for the Stromboli, excellent! The sausage had the perfect amount of spice, paired with pepperoni, green peppers, onions and mushrooms. Oh and the cheese to sauce ratio was perfect. Food is as you expect from a quick pizza place aka you cant really go wrong. I got the cannoli and fries for my quick bite and was super pleased with my cannoli, very yum. My fries were a bit lack luster but reminded me of a roller rink I would go to when I was a youngster so I enjoyed. My bf got the "point and order slices" (pepperoni and stuffed pizza) and he was pleased but he also isn't hard to impress when it comes to pizza. We sent someone to pick it up and they got back and we later realized that an order of wings + order of garlic knots were not included. $30 wasted and manager wouldn't refund or credit because we didn't tell them at pick up.
