We stopped at the McDonald's right off of State Road 31. They got half of our order correct. We both received French fries. Unfortunately the fries were not quite done. The sandwiches, my sandwich was done correctly. My husband's quarter pounder was not. He had asked for catchup only. He got mustard, onions and pickles. I'm a sucker for nostalgia, so I stopped by to pick up a limited time only McDonaldLand Meal. It comes with a special McDonaldLand shake, a purple and blue concoction that looks pretty and tastes like crap. I can't even think how to describe the flavor except maybe like a melted popsicle mixed with skim milk. And lots of artificial coloring. The rest of the meal was fine, just skip the shake. The collectible McDonaldLand item is really nice, for fans of vintage McDonald's. Service at the drive thru was great, as usual at this location. read more

Honestly this place kinda sucks lately. So many times my drink has been filled to the BRIM to where it's leaking out when they hand it to me all over me and my car, or soda explodes into the lid when I go to put a straw in and makes a mess. Today I was trying to use my rewards and the guy could not understand a thing I was saying. I tried to do my french fry reward with a small Coke Zero and a large fry- he put down a small Coke zero and then a large Coke instead of a large fry. How did you mix that up? And when I went to correct it and said it was supposed to be a large fry he goes "you're supposed to ask for it" I DID ASK FOR IT. Don't give me attitude when you didn't listen in the first place. And then he added the fries and kept the large coke and I had to tell him to take the large Coke off when I had already stated that that was a mistake. Then he ignored how I said LARGE fries and put down a MEDIUM. But I just don't have the patience to keep telling this dude how to listen and do his job. So ridiculous. Not sure what's going on lately but it's definitely going downhill. The only reason I continue to come to this location is because it's really the only place where the fries are easier to get fresh and hot and salted correctly and they haven't gotten my order wrong (in the bag at least) read more

Absolutely poor service beginning with order kiosk not working, no receipts for several weeks per another customer. No one at counter to help with issues. When we asked about cleaning a table since all were dirty with food, we were given a strange look and tables were never cleaned. When given cream for the coffees we asked for a stir stick but told to use a straw. Much laughter and fun heard from the back kitchen area but the customer was totally ignored. This was a totally new McDonald's after the old one was torn down so it could have been nice but now is a place to avoid. Much better options in immediate area. read more

With 2 boys at home, we often run through the drive through here. This is also our spot for late evening soda cravings. I typically have a good experience here. In my mind, McDonalds food is what it is...mass produced, sometimes spot on, but sometimes not. Usually, I have a hot fries and a correctly made sandwich. I don't come here expecting fresh from the fryer every time...although I often get it. The experience, though, keeps me coming back. They are nice, get my order right, are relatively quick, and usually have a smile on their face. I don't need much more than that. Btw, get their buttermilk chicken sandwich, it's really good! The worst McDonalds in Indianapolis. It's brand new and the lack of customer is frightening. Ordered a fis sandwich and it came out with a bun so hard and the fish so cold I think they made it yesterday. When I took it back and showed them they kind of laughed about it. If I could give this place a 0, I would. Their customer service was HORRIBLE! I was FLABBERGASTED! I ordered 2 small Mcflurries in the drive thru. When I arrived at the window I asked if there was only 1 size for the mcflurries bc I had asked for smalls but the cups looked pretty big. The worker was fair skin with light eyes so I asked her in English. She gave me a confused look. I figured maybe she didn't understand me so I asked her in Spanish. BIG mistake... she gave me a look of disgust and said yeah and abruptly closed the window while I was still talking. Mind you I'm hispanic so I assumed she would be more comfortable if I spoke Spanish to her. I begin to drive away and then my freaking kids start complaining that one of the flurries had whipped cream and the other one didn't. I asked her in English if my other Mcflurry could get Whipped cream and replied, " no entiendo". She called what I assume was the shift manager and what a surprise... SAME crappy attitude. This evening I wanted to just pick up dinner on way home with as little interaction as possible so I used the McDonald's app to preorder dinner. The app was so easy to navigate and so I placed my order and just had to park in one of the clearly designated spots for online orders and punch in my location number on the app. Within minutes my order was brought to me and off I went! The order was completely accurate and fries were hot!! But for the caloric intake I would definitely do this more often! read more

I think 2 stars is just about right for this place. Almost never leave with everything right and even when it does seem like everything went well... your food is stale. I go here a lot because I work near by and there's always new staff and they don't seem to know to to communicate with the customer... I got on to write this review because the two woman at the window just stared at me for over a minute and then opened to window and looked at the people behind me then closed the door again. McDonald's is the equivalent of diabetes..... I'm trying to search for some positives but am sad to say I don't know any. Firstly the food there is so cheap and not just in quality. While it does tend to be consistent with it being golden and crispy, the fries I mean....... They have extremely thin fries that just fail to beat Burger Kings. A long time ago, McDonald's fries used to be incredible and magnificent...... But now they're as flimsy as someone's decapitated finger if you get the drift. Let's speak about the burgers they have at McDonald's Everyone compares them to Burger King..... Why!? That's not a fair comparison whatsoever. Don't put something bad and put it in a fight against something legendary. That's like putting tea vs coffee Here's the thing; I've only ever eaten a Big Mac once and I've eaten just normal burgers and while they aren't bad, I'd just recommend making yourself your own sandwich or meal because McDonald's has the weirdest meat ever. The desserts there don't be lacking but they also don't be hitting either. The desserts though are kinda disappointing since they really only sell milkshakes. If they had an extraordinary iconic dessert item that trumped every dessert from every casual ice cream restaurant, it may be a 2 star but as is...... At the drive-thru I asked for ketchup and salt very politely. The employee handed me ketchup then shut the window very quickly and turned her back. Drove up to the second window, and watched my coffee sit there just waiting for a straw. She never even turned and looked at me. I'm going to start this review off by saying that I have never had Yelp on my phone, nor have I felt the need to download it and leave a review on something until now. A couple of summers ago I distinctly remember flies in the restaurant, and will never forget the store closing early after high school football games to avoid having a wave of students come in. Today, I spent $19 on some drinks and burgers, none of which came back properly. Despite specifically asking for just lettuce ketchup and pickle on a double quarter pounder, it came back with EXTRA ketchup and pickle, while still leaving on everything that I did not want on the burger. The same thing happened on the McDouble, asking for just cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise, and it came back as NO cheese and made everything I wanted on the burger extra, again leaving on the things we wanted to take off of the burger. To top it off, we asked for all large drinks, and our order came back with a medium drink, as well as a small water. Never at any one point did we want a medium or small drink, and much to our dismay, it came back that way. That feeling was the general consensus amongst the order. I don't think that I'm going to be coming to this location of McDonalds again, or at least for a long time. The Carmel Drive location is much, much cleaner and much more friendly, and despite the longer drive I will go there from this point on. read more

This is the closest McDonald's to my house. The service appears to have gone downhill in recent years. The staff is generally friendly but I usually have to wait a long time to have my order taken. A couple workers tend to make odd comments or conversations when paying and my Diet Coke always has the ice almost completely melted and watered down when I get it at the window. This is absolutely the worst experience I've ever had. I sat at the speaker for 15 minutes before any service. While the other line is having no issues. I say "hellooooo" at least 20 times. This is the last time I come to McDonald's. I would like to start off by saying that I only go here for the convenience of the location. I like the people, but especially the late night drive through worker. But let me express just how difficult it is to get a meal correct at this location. I started going to this McDonald's three years ago, because of how close it was to my work, which made it simple. However, what wasn't simple was how difficult it is for them to make your order correctly. 9 times out of 10, my order is incorrect, but the receipt is. Even such things as switching the food labels gets old fast. In conclusion, I recommend going here because it's quick, and fun, but be prepared to deal with McDonald's capability to consistently prepare your food wrong. No place else frustrates me more now than this McDonald's. read more
