I re-visited this McDonald's location today and after showing the new Manager the reply I got FIVE YEARS AFTER MY REVIEW, she refused to make my order right. I showed her the Yelp app reply, and she said that Angie no longer works here...when she just messaged me LAST NIGHT, apologizing for the delay. After QUITE A BIT of convincing, the new manager gave in, and offered to prepare me a free Big Mac. I went to the kiosk & ordered fries and a soda for cash. 20 minutes later I noticed that my order had been sitting, getting cold on their counter. So much for DINE-IN table delivery, and the Big Mac was not even prepared. I complained again, finally got hot fresh fries and the sandwich. To be fair, the food was delicious and well put together, but what an entire fiasco. read more

In addition to my own experiences with this location, some friends who came quite a distance to do some work on the house made a stop on their way home and somehow made to believe they could only make kiosk orders. Went there three times Ina month. Friend of mine was not well but been wanting McDonald. First time the person on intercom can't understand what I said, I asked for a strawberry shake, this guy reply with straw bananna? How did he come up with bandanna, still bother? Then told me they can't understand, then asked me to roll up the window to order. Drove up to window then ordered a combo meal. After he handed me the order then asked how come no fries, them he told me I didn't order. Ask him to fix it then he said, "I will just give you the fries" I didn't ask for free food, simply just ask him to fix it and willing to pay, but he was just so rude. A week later went back because friend ask again, reluctant but still go. This time I asked for a straw shake with no whip cream. Then end up with extra whip cream, told the lady I don't want. O fries and with a Dr pepper, how can same place make mistakes everytime I went and worse is within a month. I just might be a masochist. I thought they couldn't be that bad in the morning as they are at night same welcoming attitude, a big old slap in the face really. As I sat out at curbside for 15 minutes with no cars in the drive-through with no cars in the parking lot to get up and go in and see my food just sitting there. I will admit I was a bit rude at this point, but you know I give what I get. Not only did I obviously break up chitchat Sesh, they made sure that I knew how they felt about that. I get out to my car and I think maybe I should check my order because you know they're obviously not the hardest of workers. And to no surprise, my order was wrong so I go back in. I just ask them to fix what's wrong really he was just adding a piece of ham to a sandwich. The very rude lady manager that everybody talks about on this app immediately goes to do you want your refund? I said no I want what I paid for the piece of ham that goes on this sandwich. She decides to argue with me and tell me that I ordered it with cheese. I've got the app open phone in hand and I'm trying to show her that I don't care what that screen says. Here's my order. I ordered a hot fudge sundae with extra fudge and a senior coffee. The sundae had less chocolate than a regular sundae, a dab on top and a dab on the very bottom. Worse though was the attitude of the gal who took my order. I ordered inside. I had to ask if she was ready for me because as the man in front of me finished up, she never asked if she could take my order. I had to ask if the guy before me was finished. She said "yeah." Gayle had a 6 AM flight from RNO and I was there at 4:30 AM to drop her off. On the way back to Genoa, quick breakfast choices were sparse around 5 AM. I'm not really into fast food, unless it's In-N-Out or the McDonald's Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit. So it was the latter that found me in this McDonald's drive through at around 5:15. Service was fast and efficient and the woman at the window was pleasantly cheery, considering the time of day. The breakfast sandwich was as good as I expected. read more

I live close by. For the last two years they haven't been able to fill an order correctly. Check your order before pulling away from the drive thru and never go inside as all McDonald's have moved away from a customer service rep at the counter. You guys need to close when your company time says you are supposed to. I went in earlier this week a few minutes after 11 and there were 3 people in the drive thru and the stores lights were on and open sign was on since they are supposed to stay open until 12am, and they proceeded to close while people were in the drive thru and they had staff that wasn't doing shit. Typical McDonald's experience. Placed our own order at the tablet kiosk, food came out quickly, ice cream machine was working, restaurant seemed clean and wiped down. Only complaint is that I had to wait at the front with no line, and seemingly no one in drive thru for 5+ minutes waiting for someone to ask for some ketchup. Staff would look at me and then quickly try to avoid eye contact and no one helped me. Eventually I just left without any ketchup but I survived. read more

Who owns the Carson City McDonald's? The owner should be made aware that their employees no longer want to work or serve customers. Lots of hiding in the back, making it impossible to order inside. Then, when driving through to order, they ask if you want to use the app to order. Then just being rude and always getting the order wrong. I suppose I should preface this review with a general dislike for most fast food... however, this is not about food quality that is totally aside. This McDonald's is an abbreviated store, meaning it does not have a full menu. Also, I waited 5 minutes with no support until I finally went to an automated machine to place my order. Which was torture because I had four kids that needed customizations. We finally got through the order, but they had no grilled chicken or salads... what is a health conscious eater to do? Super minimalist McDonald's with lg no signal on their screens and minimal customer service and no straws not even a box for straws that is empty anywhere. You know when you really really want some fries, you order them, they appear and they are perfect! Fries so lovely I was inspired to take a photo before I even tasted one. Looked just like the professional photo advertising them. Indeed they were perfect! The drive through at this McDonald's was efficient and speedy, all staff wearing masks. Went inside more than 20 minutes unable to place my order because their internet service is down and couldn't load the deal from the McDonald's App. Told the cashier about their internet but she insisted me to restart my connection. Still didn't work because their internet is down and nothing I can do even I kept restarting clicking forget the network and reconnecting to it, it says no internet connection. I tried to reflect the problem but it is so hard to get a hold of the cashier, she kept packing orders for the drive-thru and she don't bother to help the customers inside the restaurant even she knows there are people waiting (there is one more dude behind me waiting at the cashier). If you give your priority to all the drive thru(s), your restaurant should hire one more standby for the cashier. I was upset and hungry so I left. I then went to Arby's they have $6 for 2 cheddar crispy fish burger, so it is only $3 each, very good deal cuz McDonald's fish burger always cost a lot. Stopped in at 4pm this afternoon and immediately headed for the men's room. First things first you know? Well, unfortunately I had to balance my needs against their odd closure of the restrooms apparently due to Covid. Thankfully I made it without a minute to spare. Whew! Well, an employee immediately chased me down and entered claiming "the restrooms are closed! C'mon man, you need to go"! I advised him it was a bit late and that I was committed to the end. He said "Not cool man! You read the sign before you entered"! I could only kindly advise him I would never be back and that he could kick me out if he desired but that by then I would be done. Out of fear of being refused service for my infraction, I didn't order the food items I went in for. We were able however to order from the drive-thru. I will likely never understand why they have their restrooms closed this late in the Covid game. Mask freedom has been granted state wide.
