This can be ordered inside, drive through or curbside! I've tried all vendor's and this is the BEST! Smooth texture with bits of Peppermint and chocolate inside.

Well call me a lemming cause this gal followed the masses by jumping right in to the drive thru line to try the NEWEST addition to Carson City - Chick-Fil-A!! With living up to the hype of fast food...the long quick line in the drive thru was definitely fast LITERALLYYY!! Took us about 15 minutes from winding through with plenty of Chick-Fil-A staff greeting us in the parking lot, taking our order and having it hot and ready to-go! We ordered the Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich w/ Pepper Jack, Chick-fil-A Waffle Potato Fries and Chick-fil-A Lemonade - the Chicken sandwich was crispy, flavorful and juicy with lettuce, pickle and they give you added dipping sauces that are also on the sandwiches: we went with Chick-fil-A Sauce & Honey Mustard Sauce. Quick, friendly service and tasty ~ give'em a try!

Long long time ago I just wondered by do people love this place so much? I mean, it's just one chicken sandwich place, c'mon! Long line? Wow! So when Chick Fil A just opened in Carson, the line were nuts! I thought I'll wait for a while but hey it never ending until these days! I've been here for few occasions. I was craving for some junk food. After from did our grocery near by, placed my order thru their app. My bf came in to pick up the order. Got home and realized one item was missing. Didn't really wanna go back there just for one chicken sandwich and spend some gas. Didn't really want to call the store also. So I just contacted them online and it was right away they gave me a free coupon of my choice. Well I really appreciate it. Ok here now talking about the food. Now after few times ate chicken sandwich from their place, I got it why the place is always busy. Their chicken sandwich had the best and thick chicken. The Buns are a bit too soft tho, it was fell apart. The fries were also very good, real cuts of potatoes. Their sauces were also great of selection. But my favorite of course the original Chick Fil A sauce. And actually you can buy them at your grocery place. The nuggets were also made from the chicken bites. The good thing was their shake! I love their chocolate shake of course. It was so thick, creamy but not yucky sweet. I will for sure coming back once in a while. But I won't bother thru their drive thru, order on their app most likely faster.

    Happy customer! Thanks Cameron!

    Ask the Community - Chick-fil-A

What time does this location open? Some sites are saying 6:30am and some say 8am. 8am would make it impossible for morning commuters to get breakfast, so that seems unlikely, but I'd like to double check.

    As of 5/10/21 it's 8:00am. Breakfast 8:00am-10:30am

I haven't found another place that lets you build a salad this loaded without charging you for every extra sprinkle of goodness. Now let's talk açaí bowls. The Cool Bowl is my ride-or-die. Banana, blueberries, coconut flakes, granola... it tastes like dessert but doesn't come with the regret of eating a large sized ice cream cone of Handle's upside down pineapple cake (that's still reserved for weekends). I…read moreordered the Wild West Tater and honestly was expecting a fairly satisfying, but ordinary, baked potato with toppings. What I received was an amazing blend of super tender pork in a slightly sweet but tangy BBQ sauce, mac n' cheese, and a perfectly cooked (not hard or dry), very generously sized potato (big enough for two). On a chilly day, when you're hungry, this absolutely fits the bill. Warming and savory, but well balanced, and not greasy. After some bowling or billiards? Perfect. I was thinking this was probably the best flavor, when I saw the rotating ad for....a spaghetti potato pie. Will have to come back and try other varieties. The cashier was very helpful and patient explaining the menu. Checked the website and looks like they update the menu with new options too. They say they're "dedicated to perfecting the art of the baked potato," and they're doing exactly that. Along with it, they're also serving up one of the best craft-style fountain sodas, Stubborn Soda. Don't hesitate to make a little detour (or order delivery) to try this place. TIP: Located inside the HomeGrown Bowl center: from the main entrance, head down the hall to the right past the arcade; also near a side entrance.

They told us not to order over the phone, only online. OK, fine, but it seems like you shouldn't turn away business just because we used a phone. We got our order placed online instead. My wife received a confirmation email and then an email saying our order was ready for pickup. She arrived at the restaurant, and the lady working said she had never gotten an order and hadn't started on it. So my wife waited for the food to be prepared and finally got it home. The food was good. The mac and cheese potato is really good. The mac and cheese was a star. The shepherd's pie was ok, but a little shy on the meat and needed some more seasoning. At least the portions are large, and you'll likely be able to split an order into two meals unless you're super hungry. The inside of this place is small and located inside the bowling alley building. Nothing special about the ambiance. Takeout is probably the way to go. This place should be 3 stars. However, I am going to cut a little slack and assume it was a one-off experience. So for this review, I am sticking with 4 stars. When I return, I hope the food is up to par, and the service improves. I would love to write a 5-star review for this small local business.

I grew up eating Indonesian food and other Southeast Asian cuisines, and always look for Indonesian food whenever we travel, and was excited to see there were two in Carson City. The other one was my first choice but they're closed on Mondays, so we came here on our way to Tahoe. We arrived a little after 4pm so it was quiet. The chef's husband walked us through the menu and ordering system, all the time hyping up the food and flavor and multiple awards they've won and how everybody loved/raved about their food and had never tasted flavors like theirs. The man is clearly very proud of his wife, which we appreciate. Since rendang was sold out, we decided on lemongrass chicken with yellow rice for the hubs, chicken satay with fried rice for the kid, and gado gado for me. We also ordered canned drinks but were offered free bottled water (for dining in) which we accepted with gratitude. Food came relatively quickly, fifteen minutes or so. Presentation was nice, with banana leaf on wooden platter and silverware and napkin. This particular lemongrass flavor is unfamiliar to me, and aside from heat from the chili it was flat. The chicken pieces were deep fried and dry. The nasi kuning must be old because it was hard, and there was barely any flavor. The chicken satay pieces were alright according to the kid, a little dry but tasted good. The nasi goreng was so-so, I see bits of fried egg and tasted kecap manis, but most importantly it was oily. The gado gado was actually acceptable, even if the tofu and potato cubes had been refried to a crisp, as was the hardboiled egg (also fried), and the peanut sauce was chunky and not creamy enough and lacked the distinct spices and flavor. The man had told us the ingredients are sourced fresh from Indonesia. Given they're in the middle of nowhere, it is not surprising if the food was prepped/cooked in batches instead of made fresh to order. Perhaps we came on an "off" day. Perhaps the raving reviews and awards were for the rendang only, which we didn't get to sample. If he had not talked our ears off the minute we stepped into the restaurant, perhaps we would not have had such high expectations of our meal. The chef seemed like a sweet woman and I wish her well. Might I suggest that her husband let customers determine for themselves if the food is truly amazing instead of forcing his extended elevator spiel on them. 3.5 stars, only because I am supporting an immigrant woman chasing her dreams in this political climate.

So, my local friend wanted to take me to this Thai restaurant right down on the main street in downtown, if Carson has an actual downtown that is. We got parking right in front of the place on the main street. Inside is nice and elegant in a Thai kinda way. Nicer than a casual mom and pop Thai joint. We get seated at a nice table near the front. My friend already knows the menu, so I go with hos suggestion for the Lunch special Duck with sauce over rice. It's $22 bucks, so it better be good! He has the Thai battered salmon for around $19. Soup is included and it's just a veggie broth, though tasty. Then our lunch specials come out. Oh wow, that duck look really good. It's totally deboned, so no messing with bones at all. The sauce was super tasty. My friend said he thinks its some sort of duck juice reduction with other added stuff. Whatever, this was one of the most tasty duck dishes I've ever had. His salmon was unique, I never saw a dish like that made with salmon. The coating was very unique and crispy and the salmon not over cooked. Overall, I really liked this place. I think my crew is having lunch at one of the local casinos, I'd rather be here!

The bill came to $80 which I felt was kinda steep for 3 items, especially in Carson City. The restaurant is located on a street where there was very limited parking in front and all the rear parking is super dark so bring your night vision goggles. At least there's plenty of parking spots. When I walked in, I was surprised to see Caucasian staff members! Well I guess this isn't that different than Panda Express where you have hispanics in the front and the 1 token asian in the back cooking. I picked up my food and was pleasantly surprised to find the dishes were pretty loaded. I started dipping into my duck curry and OMG it was probably the best I've had. Not only was the flavor amazing and spiced just right, but there was a generous amount of duck! When I went to eat dim sum recently and ordered roast duck, I got a plate of duck that was mostly skin and bones. Here they actually de-boned the meat so you're getting nice chunks of flavorful, meaty duck along with fresh chunks of pineapple, tomatoes, and spices with that yummy curry over my caucasian rice (I like to be culturally sensitive). Even my wife that don't like duck really enjoyed this. So while $80 for 3 dishes may seem a bit high, it was worth it. I really enjoyed my meal here and my kids also ate all their noodles with enough leftovers for lunch the next day.
