Thursday early evening. Maybe a half dozen cars in the drive through. I was craving a chocolate shake. They took the order quickly... then the wait started. Looking ahead it looked like they had everybody's order wrong. We sat inline for over 10 minutes. When we finally got to the food window they had the wrong order ready for us. I said I only had a chocolate shake. They then tried to give me TWO shakes. I said nope, just one. They looked so confused. They asked if I just wanted the second one. No one in the car wanted it.. so we turned it down and left. Obviously this bunch needs more training. Bad nights like that have to be frustrating for them as well. We've eaten at this location before and the food is typical McDonalds. Meaning it is good. They keep the inside clean as well. read more

We are working to put Christmas lights on houses and have a utility trailer. While sitting in the parking lot trying place the order. An employee or manger came outside and told us to leave we were blocking the way. However everyone could move around us easily. When he was told what we were doing. He told us nobody needs out $2. I went in there tonight and what I witnessed today simply made me irritated. Firstly I waited 15 minutes just to pay for my food. The wait isn't what made me irritated. It was the way the manager Mrs Sharon was treating the staff. The boy on drive-thru accidentally made a FIXABLE mistake. We're humans we all make mistakes. The fries could have been mistaken for potato noodles they were so tepid and soggy. They also omitted a drink from our order, and the server ignored our calls as she hurried back inside the store. The drive-thru was packed and barely moving, and it wasn't feasible to go through that mess a second time for the missing item. At least the burgers were okay, but avoid this place. read more

I placed a mobile order, then went through the drive thru to pick up breakfast for friends. I decided to pull into a parking space and double-check everything was correct. Mistake - I should've checked it at the drive thru window. I took it all back inside so I could explain. I ordered 3 Big Muffin Meals with bacon (you could chose that in the mobile app) and 1 Big Muffin Meal with sausage. They gave me all 4 with sausage. The person inside refused to give me the 3 bacons because, as she put it, "they put it in as sausage when you came through drive-thru and I won't change it." They also left out an egg and cheese biscuit, the butter and jellies I ordered, and no straw for the Frappe. Everything was corrected at the counter but the sausage meals. I know people try to run a scam, but I showed the person at the register there were clearly 3 ordered, then 1, meaning that 3 people wanted bacon and 1 was separate for sausage. If I'd wanted 4 sausage muffin meals, I would've just ordered 4, I wouldn't haved split them up into 3 and 1. I told her the 3 people wouldn't eat sausage, that's why I ordered 3 bacon. She would not budge. I was late at this point and in no mood to wait and argue more. Just go to the one off of Main Street on 11 Canyon Road. I go there on my way to work and they have NEVER gotten an order wrong, and they are very polite and fast. read more

Visit time 6:08 pm, no rush hour, maybe 20 guests in restaurant. Employees that should have been cleaning, etc., were standing around. Manager not engaging employees to clean, stock, etc. 1. Men's restroom, dirty, urinal had paper towels stuffed in the drain, toilet area dirty. 2. Drink serving area dirty, drink area counter dirty, sweet tea dispenser nozzle broke off canister. 3. As usual, for this store, ketchup dispenser out of service. This store seems to not have a maintenance plan, or corrective action plan. 4. Management is accountable for stores overall appearance. Since I am told this is not a corporate store, and privately owned along with the other stores in Cartersville, the owner should be ultimately held accountable for quality operations of the McDonald brands. 5. I fear truth, that this survey will fall upon blind eyes, as well as dead brains. Profits are sought at any cost to consumers service. read more

Went through the drive thru to get some fries. Got them and they were clearly undercooked. I went inside to show the staff that some of the fries were raw and the gentleman behind the counter showed his manager. They grabbed another set from the same batch and gave it to me. It amazes me there is not a single table clean at this place. Service was quick enough but this place was filthy inside.

The person working was very sweet however, I'm leaving this review because the store says open 24 hours a day seven days a week I have stopped in at this McDonald's before at 2:10 in the morning to 215 in the morning due to me working in Jasper Georgia and driving home late at night and this is the only time that I have them tell me that they were closed until 4 AM for breakfast while they were all sitting outside talking. However, the employee was very sweet and complimented my dog, so I am leaving the three stars specifically for that employee, however it should really say online that they are closed between that time. I am also very confused on why I have been helped before, but this time they were closed. Just very strange to me. So 1 star for the store due to this and they have forgotten food from my orders before and I work in the industry I'm a manager myself however McDonald's is on a different level than who I work for. What we did manage to ask for before prematurely being given our total was two 10 piece nugget meals, one with a Diet Coke, and one with water. Not only did they miss food in our first drive thru order, when we ordered DoorDash about 30 minutes later, the fries that came were absolutely gross, over fried, tasted like they had been sitting for 3 hours, and the sprite didn't have syrup in it which means they aren't checking their machines. This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I ordered two cheeseburgers and a 20 piece nugget with buffalo sauce and honey. I get to the window they asked what kind of cheeseburgers I said a regular cheeseburger. Sometimes they are really slow even when they are not busy. They almost always get my order right and even when they don't they fix it pretty fast. The staff has always been kind and patient to my son and myself. And when the few times that they forgot to give me sauces in the drive thru when I go inside they give me extra to make up for it. read more
