We also got lattes and they were really tasty. There's a good amount of seating throughout the restaurant and it's reasonably comfy. By the time we left around 5 PM, it was much less busy, so maybe hit up Brecotea around then if you're interested in a more chill experience. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and would definitely come back, although I may stick to the sweet pastries next time.

carlos, the manager is horrible. the very worst restaurant manager i ever had the displeasure of dealing with. carlos and his long,un-netted hair is so grossly unprofessional, how did he ever get promoted to manager? doesn't the gm know this man has an attitude problem that is no doubt running off customers (i can't imagine what it must be like to work under him if you are on his bad side or anger him). we spent $40 on dinner. we had to wait forever for our food and for them to get it right, which we ended up leaving with wrong food and carlos didn't and does'nt care they got it wrong and had to come outside and go back and forth six times!!!!!!!! they gave us the wrong drinks. had to wait on that. carlos was sooooo bothered he had to go back to get another drink. when i went to hand him the coke, he snapped at me that he was not going to take back "that" drink. (that's fine, we are in a pandemic. i get it. i have nothing but compassion for all the frontline workers, which i believe restaurant workers are that too. they are coming in close contact with people. and from what i could see no one was wearing gloves, i only saw one worker with a mask). sanitary or not, carlos didn't have to be over dramatic and rude to me about it. our food was cold, we had to wait 20 minutes before we saw anyone, and carlos brought out our food. from the get, he started harping on about how we have to pay for sauce. he said he put it in the bag. lie!!!!!!!!!! and because of all the waiting..it took 30 minutes. the milkshake was liquified. they forgot the ketchup and mayonnaise. had to wait on that. mind you, we had to wait on the drink. then the mayo and ketchup, then to top it all off, we ordered a 20 piece chicken nuggets and they did not give us the sauces. you only get three sauces. if you want more, the are .25 + tax. but carlos, didnt put the hot mustard and sweet and sour sauce in the bag and wanted to charge me for something i already paid for.....this went back and forth. he had to come outside twice to tell me i have to pay for sauces that were never given to me. so over $.57.....we had to leave with no sauce to dip the nuggets in. from how we were treated, to the long wait and missing/wrong food.....it ruined our dinner. i feel totally ripped off and because of all the waiting for all of their mistakes, forgotten items,wrong items our food was cold. we arent eating out because there is a pandemic. this was supposed to be a treat for my family. we were all disappointed. and to basically be called a liar, by the manager (over $.57) and all the mistakes, (good service would have been, oh sorry about that, and because of your long wait, don't worry about the $.57 heres your sauce for your 20 piece chicken nuggets).....how can i trust them enough to ever go back there?! i'm trying to trust they have our safety as customers of food service in mind. they got all that wrong and then i have to deal with a rude and uncaring manager of the mcdonalds i have been going to since 1991, would you trust mcdonalds after having an experience like that?! would you trust them to just magically get it right a second time?! would you spend $40 on a maybe they will get the order right and they will be clean and sanitary because they all the sudden care so much if they pass covid19 to you or not?! yeah, i can't risk that chance. they obviously could care less about our dinner tonight. if i was the owner i would fire him asap. i'd put a manager in there that actually cared about the customers, the food they serve and the money being spent there, but most of all, they would actually care about the safety of the customers they are serving when we are living in a time in age that a virus is actually killing people. go eat here if you are the gambling type. especially if carlos is on duty. you might get the food you ordered, you might not. you might get ripped off and forced to pay twice for their/carlos's mistakes. worst scenario, there is something extra in your food you most certainly wouldn't want going into your mouth. thanks carlos for making me an ex customer of the cary,nc mcdonalds 29 years. thanks for ruining our dinner. thanks for making it where i wont bring my kids to their local mcdonalds they have been going to their whole lives. where they both have celebrated their birthdays and friends birthdays for a solid decade....we wont be coming back. i'm afraid of carlos the manager and what he might do to our food. i am not a gambler. the day and time we are living in!!!!??? it is too much of a risk to trust someone who treats their customers the way carlos does. bye mcdonalds on walnut street, cary, north carolina.. not mad. sad. read more

I love love love this place. I've only come 11 pm and later and bc they're the only 24 hour open place, it's always super busy but they rock with getting orders out fast and correctly.
