I live in Champions Gate so I go to this McDonald's pretty much daily for my Diet Coke fix, and because I go at weird hours (3-4 pm, 6:30-7:30 am), there's almost never a wait in the drive thru and the service is speedy. Any food I've gotten has been served hot and I've had very few complaints. And the people who work here are always super friendly. I really only took off one star because of the tiny and difficult to navigate parking lot, and because the times when the drive thru IS long, it's ridiculously slow. read more

It will absolutely avoid this location in the future. I stopped by after going to my grandparents to get my daughter, a kids meal and a drink for myself. They sent me through to Park for a kids meal, a medium fry, and a Sprite. After about 10 minutes of sitting and waiting, nobody came to my car. When my husband went inside, they basically told him that they had forgotten about our order. Food is served how they want and they give you what they want you, not what you ordered. Often you need to pull up or over into one of their waiting spots, no food is ever ready but they will give you your drink to get it watered down while your wait. Even after the wait the fries are never hot. I'm not sure the burgers are still beef. Avoid. read more

On Tuesday March 14th my family came to the drive through on our way to Orlando. I mention the date incase someone else is sick and they look to see if there was another sick. I ordered a Filet of Fish and an unsweetened tea. I took a bite of the sandwich and as I swallowed it seemed to be a little "off". I then took a second bite and I don't know if I got more fish or more tarter sauce but the sour spoiled taste hit hard. I spit it out and gagged. I returned to the counter and someone who was in charge, who was also as very nice apologized and told me he would go check the dates of the ingredients. He also offered to make me something else. He never offered to refund money. That bothered me but I did not ask for money either as I felt uncomfortable. I have been eating the filet of fish all my life and had no idea what to order as I didn't want a burger. So I got a chicken sandwich, terribly boring by the way. As I waited for about 5 min for my dry chicken on a bun with 1 pickle (???) and no sauce, I noticed that "manager" never left the front area to check ingredients. I don't know, maybe he instructed someone else to but this also upset me. Later that night my stomach felt bloated and I just did not feel good. For dinner all I had was a flatbread with tomato, tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese all tasted fresh so I was certain it was not that especially considering the filet of fish tasting spoiled. By the time morning arrived I was in bad shape. I was very sick all Wednesday and come Thursday my stomach was still in pain but it felt like the spoiled food was gone from my system and I was just recovering from that. We'll now it's Friday and I still am aching a bit. Thus this comment. This is the first time I have ever experienced a spoiled food item from any McDonalds. Of course this was not an intentional attempt to harm me, but I think it's important for others to be aware of this issue as it is three days later and my stomach is still reeling and I am a healthy adult. She had to throw it up for risk of salmonella and putting our baby at risk. A pretty good McDonald's We walked in at lunchtime yesterday to a busy restaurant. The counter area wasn't backed up, but the dining area was packed. The restaurant also had active duel drive-thrus. The workers behind the counter seemed focused on their jobs. The one order taker who impressed me as cool and competent, not rushed but efficient. We placed our order, mine a Quarter Pounder with Cheese and some fries. It didn't take overly long before we had our food, warm and tasting just like it tastes at any McDonald's. By the time our food was ready we had found a seat. Even busy it was a quick in and out stop, which was good because we didn't want to waste time. While eating someone checked with us to make sure everything was ok, an act expected at most restaurants, but not expected at a McDonald's. The dining area and bathroom could have been cleaner, but understandable at such a busy time. read more

Pulled up to order through the drive-thru, there was a truck that was pumping out the grease pit I believe that was right next to the drive-thru area making it very hard to hear which is understandable that is not the problem. There was nobody in line so I drove around to the window and I advised the young lady who was working the window that due to the noise I wasn't going to be able to hear at the drive-thru speaker. Again not a problem, as I stated this some unseen employee inside stated "he didn't even stop for one second" in a very nasty voice. When this place opened up a couple years ago it was great. I don't think they anticipated the increasing clientele with the new communities being build in Championsgate. I use the curbside delivery quite often because it's easy (order in advance). Today it reached the limit. I was waiting in the parking spot for 20 minutes, and guess what? No food. So I decided to drive through the drive thru. I had a toddler in the car with me, otherwise I would have walked in. Eventually I did get my order, which the manager said he changed the ordered items to fresh ones, the nuggets tasted like they were this morning ones being heated all day. The Big Mac was alright. We are normally a 'drive-thru' family when it comes to McDonald's; however, they were hosting the kids' McTeacher Night and to show our support for the school we decided to dine-in. What.A.Treat! Alexandria was the first Team Member we encountered, to be honest, she provided a level of service far beyond what I would expect at a fast food dining location. Props to her. The place was full of kids, you would expect ruckus and disorganization, but not on her watch. I watched her circle the dining room many times, collecting garbage pro-actively from tables. She also spent time checking to see if anyone needed anything, a service not normally seen at McDonald's. As someone who is on a Keto lifestyle, I wasn't expecting much from my dinner - but I was pleasantly surprised to find my McDouble (no bun) thoughtfully wrapped in a large piece of lettuce. Also, our children's Happy Meals looked fresh, and seemed to be pipping hot. All the request condiments were places in their boxes and the orders were correct.
