If there's one fast-food spot I wish we had back home, it's Culver's! I first tried it in Illinois and absolutely loved it, so when I had the chance to go again in Florida, I was so excited. The burgers taste incredibly fresh and made-to-order, the crinkle-cut fries are perfectly crispy, and the sauces are seriously some of the best I've had from a fast-food restaurant. Everything was hot, flavorful, and exactly what I remembered. Man, you all ripped me off today. Long day at Disney. I talked my wife into Culver's over Portillos. Waited 22 minutes for food Didn't discover until finally getting home: wife had no food in bag, sodas flat as a pancake, my fries tasted like they were made 2 days ago, and no kids ice creams scoops that comes with kids meals. We decided to try Culver's in Kissimmee after watching a YouTube video ranking it as one of the top three chain restaurants for burgers -- and it didn't disappoint! At Culver's, you order at the counter, and dine-in customers are given a numbered stanchion to place on the table. From there, your food is delivered to you, which is a nice touch for a fast-casual spot. Our party of three ordered a Deluxe Burger, Grilled Reuben, and Cod Filet Sandwich. All three were very good. The burger had the look and taste of a smash burger -- nicely crisped edges and great flavor. The Cod Sandwich featured a generous portion of fried cod, crispy on the outside and flaky inside. The Reuben was flavorful and satisfying, with a good balance of corned beef, sauerkraut, and dressing. They were quite busy during our visit, so food didn't come out quickly, but it was clearly freshly cooked, which made the wait worthwhile. I always dislike having to do that but, you wanna know what you're ordering is what you wanna eat right? I ventured out to get the two-year-old a grilled cheese with fries and by the way I absolutely love Culver's crinkle fries. He did like the grilled cheese wasn't overdone and I wanna say it is the thicker toast grilled cheese. Came with a drink and you also get to choose either a swirl or chocolate or vanilla or the flavor of the day.!! my granddaughter ordered the kids burger and you get to choose the cheese. It doesn't come with anything at all on it unless you ask for mayonnaise ketchup or mustard however they do offer any packets. I feel like this is a good idea for children because it makes it pretty simple. I ordered a burger which came with two patties. They aren't overly thick. They're kind of like smash burger type size I will say the burger is well seasoned and have had a really good flavor ! AGAIN I love their fries. We were asked to pull into a numbered spot and there were two or three other cars there if you're in a real big hurry, I'd probably not try. The food was very fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. The only thing I will add to this review and things happen, we did not get the kids little frozen yogurt or whatever it is when the guy brought our bag of food out. We decided to stop here for a bite to eat to go after running a few errands before heading back!. We both ordered combo meals, my wife ordered a cheeseburger meal and I ordered a spicy chicken meal. My wife enjoyed her burger by saying it was quite tasty. My meal was good as well. I also ordered jalapeño cheese curds that were pretty good because I believe it was the first time trying them. The employees were informative and very knowledgeable about the menu when we asked questions. The food came out quick and it was hot too!. Came here on a Sunday night at 730. I took over 30 minutes to get my food. The burger came out and the cheese was not melted and still cold. The bacon was not cooked all the way. It was lukewarm at best. The staff didn't really care. When I went back up to the front to say something I was told it would be another 30 plus to get something else. This was my first time trying Culver's, since there isn't one where I live. The burgers were pretty good overall, and I can see why people enjoy them. There was a small mix-up with my order, asked for a single patty but was given and charged for a double but it wasn't a huge issue. The fish and fries were okay, solid but nothing that really stood out. Overall, it was a decent experience. Usually I have a great experience here during the day, but tonight was different. I came in for a concrete mixer, but a new staff member rang it in as a milkshake. When I explained the mistake, the gentleman seemed upset with me even though it wasn't my fault. I wasn't upset about the mix-up or even that it cost me $1+ more, but I was surprised by the attitude and how he threw the milkshake in the back. What bothered me most is that when the "correct" order came back, it was clearly just the same milkshake poured into a concrete mixer cup. When I asked where the mix-ins were, I was told they were "thoroughly mixed in." I asked for more pieces at least. So I got a milkshake in a concrete mixer cup The only polite interactions I had were with the new girl and an older gentleman. I'll make sure to stick to daytime visits from now on. As someone from the UK, I had never heard of Culvers before, so I was shocked to find out how good it was and disappointed it never made it across the pond! I have to say it is my favourite fast food burger, not only does the quality seem much higher than the competition but the taste AND price. I had to opt for a concrete to complete my dining experience and I was blown away at the variety of mix-ins/toppings you could choose from!! What a hot mess. Over 40 min wait for dine in and the other two in our party Culver's lost their order and we're not helpful in resolving issue. When asking for updat first time the person at the counter apologized for the delay but said there was no way to give any estimate on any order of where it was. Waiting another 15 mins and finally a server felt sorry and finally got what appeared to be a manager who also couldn't track the order to see where in the process it was. Finally they gave money back as they didn't know what happened. Order showed on her register but it was no where on the screen to be prepped. They are fast food, a drive through, to go or sit down inside. If you eat inside they actually bring food to you. Their menu is pretty large, burgers, sandwiches, salad, chicken but they also have a fantastic Atlantic Cod fish sandwich. They have really great sides including fries and cheese curds. These are definitely a northern item but you have to try them. They are crunchy cheesy and little nuggets of goodness! Ok the butter burgers. These are basically delicious juicy burgers and they add butter to the toasted bun to make it even more delicious. Culvers is also known for their ice cream. It is more of a custard and they have a daily special flavor and also make sundaes and cones as well. Ice cream is definitely a must when visiting. My favorite is the turtle sundae! Everything is made fresh and to order, so if you are in the drive thru, you will end up waiting, they have you pull forward into a parking spot while you wait. I am not a huge fast food fan, but I will come to culvers. Their food is fresh, made by hand and different variety from your typical fast food chain. read more

I will admit that the burgers are slightly bland for my taste. I like them a little more seasoned. That being said, it does not prevent me from ordering them and just adding a bit of salt and pepper. They're made fresh, not frozen and they truly are savory especially if you add some pickles and bacon! The staffs at this location is fabulous!! They're so nice and friendly and patient. But the food has its good and bad. It's our first time trying Culver's so we tried a bit of each things. We had a double deluxe burger meal with onion rings, a fried cod dinner with fried cheese curds & coleslaw, and a roast beef sandwich meal with fries. My son and husband said the burger were good, I didn't try so I'll take their words for it. The roast beef didn't taste or look like roast beef, it was more like bbq pull pork. It was also very little meat in that sandwich, more bread than anything. The cod tasted fresh and not overly battered. The cole slaw had this vinegar taste that I'm not used to. The cheese curd was good when it's fresh hot. The fries that I grabbed were kind of salty but crunchy. I think next time we'll all just get burgers since it's what they're known for. :) read more

I've been to this Culver's probably 20+ times over the last few years and I've always had delightful experiences. It's really close to my work so coworkers and I come every few months for lunch. The service is always quick, employees are always friendly, and the food is always served fresh. Love the bacon butterbuger, love the fries, and loveeee subbing them for cheese curds sometimes, they're so yummy! They're also great with allergies which I really appreciate! I have a nut allergy and I don't always trust people with mix in ice cream but Culver's is always very attentive to my needs and I've never had an issue eating here. I ordered my usual, their chicken sandwich combo and got myself their new pretzel nuggets with cheese sauce. I hope these are a permanant add to the menu as they're magnificent and I will always order them. Round two: We returned to this location to give it another shot, really intending to try the frozen custard this time. It turns out that after a double cheeseburger, fries and a great root beer, there's not enough room for the custard it seems. You'd think that being on the COVID diet for the last few months would make us more able to eat this much, but I guess not. Be that as it may, the food quality here is still very good. It is still my first choice for a fast food cheeseburger. The sandwiches truly appear to be freshly made right off the grill. When you look at them, the patties do not take on a frozen appearance. They look like something that your mother just threw into a pan and fried up. They also serve their own brand of root beer, which takes me back to the old A&W days. It's not too sweet and not too herbal. It's just right. The only slightly negative thing I could add is related to COVID. We ate inside, since this location now takes dine in customers. The condiment bar was covered and empty, though. My doctor probably wouldn't like it, but I like a bit of salt on my fries. As mentioned, the condiment section was empty. I'm sure I could have asked for some from the staff, but chose to eat them without it, however. I'm absolutely certain that if I would have asked, the staff would have been more than happy to comply with my request. They are always so friendly and smilingly helpful. Man oh man the mint chocolate custard!!! Lol just custards and cheese kurds in general are a must here! I am so happy that this place opened up! I have been in the establishment a couple of times pre Covid times but I never left a review until a great experience I had through the drive thru. The employees are always in a good mood and energetic and willingly to get your order in and out. The burgers and cheese kurds are good but the salads taste a bit fake so those that love and prefer salads, I recommend to look elsewhere lol the lettuce just tasted processed like plastic lol. The line was likely because of Covid and limited seating. Any who, my husband and i haven't been in for awhile so when we ordered, we were not saying the right terminology and we were a bit confused with there dessert custard offerings. I went here because I've never eaten at one. I got one of the $5 and up "snack packs" because I had $7 in scratch off winnings to blow. (Lol). Even the higher priced snack packs were around $6. Mine was just over $5. I was expecting a small version, instead it was a normal sized single burger. The burger tastef exactly like it hsd just come off the grill in the backyard. The golden, crispy fries were just that! (And anyone who reads my reviews knows I'm a fry freak.) And they have PEPSI products, yeah! Apparently they are known for their butter burgers and custard.
