The young guy they have acting as a manager told me my online order was 20 minutes out of date. He basically accused me of trying to receive free food and that I had already been there. That was impossible considering it took a 20 minute drive to get there from my job. He tried to tell me to leave until the cashier told him that he had handed me the receipt moments ago, which I handed to him at the beginning of the altercation, and to just make the damn food. The incident caused the entire drive thru to stop and several managers had to intervene. There's no way this place can operate with customer service like this and a lack of training to the extent that the manager doesn't even know how to read the online order list. Agonizing Slow Tight schedule but still enough time to accomplish what I needed to do. Drove down to Exit 16 and over to Candy Warehouse to pick up some Licorice for my Daughter in California. In and out of the Candy Warehouse in minutes and wanted to grab a quick to go lunch at McDonald's on the other side of I-77. Pulled in and one car ahead of me but did not move. Finally moved and I got a chance to place my order although they did not immediately come to the intercom. Place order and pulled in behind the car ahead of me, Took 5 minutes to fill their order and when I pulled up, mine was not ready although it was only for two Cheeseburger and a large Unsweetened Tea. Paid and waited and waited forever and it was not like the restaurant was slammed. Parking lot was 90 % vacant at 12:45 pm. Finally did get my order and at it on the run driving back to work. Busy at most, it maybe should have taken 10 minutes at most and more likely closer to 5. This even with an almost empty parking lot took between 15 and 20 minutes. I've never had a bad experience here, but there's only a single lane drive through. Most of the other stores in the area are double lane, so it's a little slower. I usually stop by for an iced coffee on the way to work. read more

Call me a creature of habit but the McDonald's on Sunset Rd is the worst. Every morning since the pandemic hit I love to go get my morning latte. Since I can't get it free at work anymore I pay for it now. Well, never order a large latte because you're not going to get a large latte. Oh yes, you'll get a large cup but when you open it it's only half full and then the top is an inch of foam. Putting something in a large cup doesn't make it a large. The problem I have is with the manager. When ever I bring this up to him he always says that he has no control over the pour because it's set by the machine. Well, excuse me but I can go to any other McDonald's in town and the cup is completely full. The only reason I go to this one is because it's down the street from my house. Today I figured I'd order a medium to see if they possibly make it different. To my surprise when I got my cup again it was half full. Maybe 4 good pulls then it's empty. And the medium cup is smaller than the small drink cup. I'll be driving past this McDonald's from now on to get a full cup of coffee several miles away. read more

I would not give this store any stars if I could, but you have to give at least one to rate. First issue I have is that complaints are never taken seriously when you call and complain nothing is ever done. Employees are treated unfair and unequal. I know for a fact that multiple complaints have been filed about managers not giving minors breaks, and then withholding food hours after they get off just because they don't want to give them their food not only that, on an employees day off, they placed a mobile order and the lady made ma them wait over an hour to get a mobile order and complaint made to Dm was never dealt with they cut the other employees hours and continued to let the manager who is the issue continue to work and miss, treat the employees and customers several mobile order. Uber employees have issues with this employee, but they will not do anything about it. Best thing to do is avoid this store like it's the plague, their lines are always long and wrapped around the building just to receive cold food and be greeted with attitude because the manager doesn't want to deal with you . yet the managers that are decent get written up and complained about and let go but they keep the ones that disrespects you. Why would anybody want an employee like that or to be served by someone that nasty and this store is a franchise so they don't care who works for them nor do they take those complaints seriously read more

I mean its a McDonald's, so expect McDonald's type of food. The only reason I am reviewing this sub-par McDonald's is to note that their breakfast burritos suck. I don't mean to make this personal, but whoever they've got back there may be an expert at flipping burgers, but doesn't have a clue about rolling burritos. On a positive side, they support the local area by having different community events such as McTeacher night in which teachers from a local school volunteer for a few hours with proceeds going back to schools. If I could give this place a negative rating I would. This has got to be the worst McDonald's on this side of town. I always try to make an effort to go to the McDonald's by Northlake or over by the Walmart on Callabridge Ct. but today was a quick run for my daughter. Every time I go to this McDonald's either something is not working (ice cream machine) or they get the order wrong. Today was not different. I went through the drive threw and ordered a double hamburger with ketchup only and YES! they got that wrong and added mustard. The little supervisor/manager was so rude telling me everyone else is waiting and I had to wait to. If they had gotten it right the first time I wouldn't need to go instead and he tells me to wait. Bags were all over the floor with food. The person making the food did not seem to know what to do. This McDonald's needs some help with a new team or new management. I come here often since it is close to where I work and because the staff is super friendly and always smiling. Never have they got my order wrong and occasionally get things on the house. I have to add my review because the experience was so absurd. I was in an uber on new years eve, and asked the driver to stop at this McDonald's, which the driver kindly did. The order was 2 big mac's, large fry, and a double cheeseburger. After paying and getting the food the uber driver started to drive off when I realized we were missing a big mac. We were already passed the drive through window and the door was locked. There was also a huge line, so I just asked the driver to let me out rather than wait another 20 minutes, and I would just walk to the window. The customer waiting at the window helped get the attention of the cashier for me. I simply asked for the missing big mac. The cashier called the manager who requested my receipt, so I run back to the car and get the receipt, then the manager asked for my food bag! I was like ok I'm hungry so i'll do that. She looks at the bag and the receipt and tells me no, she doesn't believe me, and I must be trying to steal the big mac. At this point the uber driver has been waiting around an extra 15 or 20 for the whole process. The managers response to their mistake was so ridiculous, and I didn't want to waste the uber drivers time anymore, not to mention I was beyond frustrated at that point with the multiple trips back to the uber car. So, I just left without my big mac, even though McDonalds had my money. This was probably the worst customer experience I've ever had. This was the total worst. 1st they have a kid at the register(William i believe his name is) taking orders and clearly he have a broken or fractured left hand and has a cast and gauze on it.So when the kid went to make my drink, he had to stick his hand inside of my cup in order to grip it. That is a no no..i dont want a drink that someones hand has been in. I asked him to have someone else make my drink, and you would of thought that i asked for a million dollars with all the attitude that i got from the manager Patricia. So the next employee, who was a female, that was on her cell phone on the front line, was so busy giving away free food to her friend that came to pick her up in the grey ford focus, that she couldn't even pack my food up so that i could leave. I dont understand how her manager stood there and allowed her to play around with her friend and give away free food, instead of helping paying customers. My boyfriend and I came through the drive thru at around 10 pm. We ordered a sausage mcgriddle and a southwest salad. After we ordered we went to the first window and paid. When we got to the second window they tell us that they don't serve sausage mcgriddles at this time, only biscuits. I was confused at why they didn't tell us that when we ordered! Anyways, my boyfriend ended up ordering a bacon mcdouble. They lady then goes to the back and then comes back to the window and says, "Oh and They forgot to tell yah but we ain't got no more salad" WTF! Then what do you guys have? I still don't understand why no one said anything when I was ordering?! I then just said that i would just like a refund for the salad. She then tells me, I'm going to need your receipt to know that you actually paid for it? ARE YOU SERIOUS????? I just came from the first window where I PAID for it!! one time i went there i placed a mobile order and waited at one of the little places for pick up but it was taking forever so i went in. when i went in and asked about the order they told me they didn't get it but it on my end it says they got it. later they told me they got it but they didn't like "approve" it or something but they said it with an attitude and made it seem like it was my fault. i'm never going back to this mcdonald's. read more

My feedback is no different from the rest of the feedback I see here: The last 3 times I've stopped here, the bored, clearly underworked staff were far too busy chatting each other up - socializing with coworkers - and blocking the aisles of the store to take any orders. The first time it happened, I was ignored while I stood, waiting, behind the only other customer and only one register was being used, but the staff were quite obviously not interested in taking any other orders. The second time, I was refused a biscuit because the cashier could not see that the crispy buttermilk chicken could actually go on a biscuit, and then I had to wait nearly 15 minutes for the food i *did* order, all while other customers were being served that came in after I did (was I being punished because the cashier was a dolt?) This last time, I was (again) one of only two customers, and I was ignored for almost 10 minutes, AGAIN, while the SAME manager wandered around oblivious to the fact that most of the staff were busy looking busy instead of working, and evidently no one else knew how to use the three other registers that were unmanned, either. I'm not even going to go into how they've swapped my crispy chicken for sandwiched that cost $3 less, or the quality of any of the food I've gotten here (especially at the drive-thru) since I'll never come back! The drive thru seems to be the only thing that works, but you won't get what you ordered, so check it at the window - before you drive away - or you may get a cheaper surprise than what you paid for. Anyway, i have NEVER had such consistently rotten, rude service at ANY MacDonalds, and will NEVER stop here to eat again. It's no wonder this store is slack - I am clearly not the only person who refuses to eat here - since the lack of traffic only confirms that if you want to eat here you probably need to be an employee, since they're the only people the staff here seem to recognize being in the store. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!! Shame on you, McDonald's - this store's staff and managers need a round of disciplinary action and either retraining or replacing before it gets any worse (if that's even possible, at this point)! read more
