The fries here are amazing! And that chicken parm sammie ain't nothin' to sleep on, neither, if'n I ain't the granddaddy of all liars!!!

Best bar food in uptown Charlotte. Also the coolest bartenders and great rotating local beer selection. But shhhh don't tell too many people. Only cool people are allowed up in here. Don't come up in here ordering Coke Zero and a grilled chicken salad or some bullshit like that. Oh and this is about the only place around here that has poutine.

    Amazing pimento cheese bacon burger

Our home away from home while in Charlotte for two weeks for a very long meeting, we found this spot the first night and continued to bring friends for the duration of our visit. Taps - local and varied, with something for everyone. Offerings rotate, so there's a wide variety of choices over the course of a week. We came for the beer, and stayed for the PIMENTO CHEESE BACON BURGER. There's just no reason to order anything else, it is so delicious. Staff were kind and helpful, bathrooms are clean.

Had a good lunch here while visiting Charlotte. It's a small spot, only a few tables inside, few outside + a handful of seat at the bar. Interesting decor, lots of tap handles on the wall and brewery signs on the ceiling. Service was friendly and quick. Only had soda in cans and water in bottles. Apparently they're not allowed to serve water from the tap, which seemed a bit weird. Menu was pretty basic bar food. I got the chicken Philly which came out quickly with fries and enjoyed it. So many options in the area, it may be one to check out again

    Carolina Burger with pimento cheese

Was in town for business and wanted a casual local place for lunch nearby. This checked all the right boxes. Cute historic alley with a bunch of local places. This one has a small interior and was playing great music with TVs tuned into sports. Service was really friendly and efficient. I got a great beer recommendation and then tried the Carolina burger which has chili. I couldn't resist adding pimento cheese since that was on other burgers. It didn't disappoint. It had so much flavor though admittedly it was messy as you might expect. Just loved it though. Burger was cooked well without being dry. The fries were also quite good too. A winner for me.

Wandered into this cute bar and was happy we did. Excellent service and the food was great. Love the ambiance. It feels very local.

Cute, little bit of "Queen City" flavor. Nothing fancy, but a good bite to eat while checking out museums in the city. Enjoyed a beer and hotdog in a fun hole in the wall type ambience. Service was attentive but we weren't sure why you couldn't drink the water?!

Nice bar atmosphere with a good selection of beers. Food was tasty. Chili was good on a cold day uptown

The vibe here is amazing and I had no idea it was a little "soccer district." I'm very cautious with eating Philly Cheese Steaks outside of Philly, but they definitely hit the mark! You'll love the beer tabs along the wall and their craft beer section.

Was on the hunt for a veggie burger and Queen City was the closest to my hotel. Didn't realize this was a bar until I got there but by then, hunger had set in & I was committed to getting my burger Chose the Veggie Mediterranean. The fries were outstanding. The burger was meh. Not a lot except a patty & a few veggies. Didn't get the sense of any Mediterranean sauce but I checked & it was indeed there There were people in the bar watching soccer & they seemed like regulars & the vibe was friendly & local. If coming for a drink, I'd definitely come back. For dinner? Might check elsewhere first

    Chicken tender basket

We got a few drinks and split the chicken tender basket before a blink 182 concert. Very good. Chips were delicious & so was the ranch! I got a watermelon sour and it was perfect. There was a bit of a wait to get a table and it is small in there. But I think there was a long wait time since two concerts were going on.

Such an awesome spot!!! There are about 4 seats at the bar, 2 six top tables, 2 four top tables, 4 seats against another wall side bar. There are a few tables outside. We arrived a little after noon and we're able to sit indoors, right away. The servers are fantastic! Super friendly, kind, attentive and just all around GREAT! They use QR codes for the beer and food menu. My kiddos were welcomed. The quesadilla was loaded with veggies and chicken. Delicious! Grilled chicken sandwich and fries was a hot for the 8 year old. A plain hamburger hit the spot for the teen and hubby enjoyed the Buffalo chicken sandwich. Our friends had hot dogs and said they were good as well. Perfect size for lunch. Wouldn't definitely return for beer and even the food.

Having a little fun! Our favorite spot in the alley to chill and drink good beer!

Placed a pick up order from here. It's located in an alley with several other bars / eateries. Burgers were great. I would go back.

The place was busy but there were still a number of tables available. We all had various cocktails and everyone enjoyed what they chose. Mine was an elevated version of a whiskey sour and it was perfect. Multiple people had the Saturday BBQ plate special which was a fantastic deal. For $10.99 you got a large serving of bbq, a slice of garlic bread, slaw and a side of your choice. Both people were impressed with their meal and one ended up taking 1/2 of the bbq home. Others , including myself, got flatbreads. There was an issue with my meal and the manager handled it quickly and sincerely. I really appreciated that. I will absolutely order the chicken bbq bacon flatbread again. It's jalapeno bacon, so it gave a little kick that worked well with the sweet bbq sauce. I also had a side salad with roasted garlic vinaigrette (was slightly sweet and garlicky). The greens were fresh and the ingredients were good quality, not a lame bar salad. The waitress had no problem letting me bring in a nothing Bundt cake for a birthday celebration. We walked out at 11pm and the place was even busier than at 9pm and was just a nice place to relax with friends with good food and drink. Even with the issue with my meal, we will be back!

The only thing I wished for was a few more vegan options on the menu as I expect a little more variety at an Asian fusion restaurant. We went across the street and they didn't allow dogs on the patio so a quick Yelp search led us to Jack Beagles. With a dog in the name, I figured it would be dog friendly and I was right... it's event dog friendly inside which was great since we had the baby and it was hot out. They were happy to seat us in the dining room and since breakfast was about to end and lunch was about to start, we had the option of both. Some ordered breakfast and a few of us order the tenders because our server said it was one of the most popular items. I don't normally go for tenders at a new place, but they had garlic parm which drew me in. They were pretty great and served with waffle fries. My buddy got this massive burger that I was eyeing as well and I had a little bit of food envy when it came out. It was called The Big Bear and was sporting 2 Patties, 2 X Bacon, 2 x White American Cheese, Pickled Jalapeno, and Chipotle Aioli. I would definitely try that next time. Only odd thing was that when the burger came out, my buddy asked for a knife other than a butter knife to cut it since it was so big. Instead of offering to bring it to the kitchen to cut it, she came out from the back to say they don't have any steak knives and the only sharp ones are with the cook. No big deal, but a little odd. Anyway, we had a great lunch before hitting the road that accommodated all of our needs.

I loved how they choose to serve waffle fries over regular fries. There is just so much texture and flavor going on there. They have a big menu of mac and cheese dishes that sound super interesting so maybe we'll try that next!

Luckily we snagged a spot and walked over to the lake area. We were seated quickly and our server took drink orders and gave us a chance to review the large menu. You get a choice of sides, and we tried the Mexican street corn salad and the Mac and cheese. I wasn't a huge fan of the corn salad. It was served cold, but I wasn't really a fan of the taste. The Mac and cheese looked creamy and gooey and was told it was really good. Next time I will order a different side.
