There are nights when you just need your faith rewarded. Tonight, my friends, is that night. Out of town we here spending my first night in Charlotte. There are so many choices. Too many choices. Just red something simple, delicious, and contorting. But who? Enter QCBC. It's getting late. I'm hungry. And I want something simple. And honestly, The Alley is really hyper confusing. So I pull into QCBC just looking for a burger and a beer. And dayum!! Did they deliver!!! First...my bartender comes in super cool. She explains the menu and recommends a beer. I keep it simple...the QCBC Burger with provolone and fries. She recommends the Kolsch. I'm in!! Long story short...perfection!!! The burger is cooked exact to spec. The fries are crispy, seasoned and delicious, and the beer is a pitch-perfect match. Faith restored!!! I was skeptical going in. Walking out...full, happy, and looking forward to the next time I can settle up to the bar and enjoy another perfect burger and a beer experience. Visited here for some food and drinks before a show at the Knight Theatre. It was great! Very cozy, felt like a neighborhood spot. Service was wonderful and friendly and food came quick. I got the poutine, which was solid, and my aunt got a burger. It wasn't life changing, but it was good and I was thrilled to be able to have basically anything on the menu because they confirmed my allergies (seafood and nuts) were not a concern here at all. Best bar food in uptown Charlotte. Also the coolest bartenders and great rotating local beer selection. But shhhh don't tell too many people. Only cool people are allowed up in here. Taps - local and varied, with something for everyone. Offerings rotate, so there's a wide variety of choices over the course of a week. Had a good lunch here while visiting Charlotte. It's a small spot, only a few tables inside, few outside + a handful of seat at the bar. Interesting decor, lots of tap handles on the wall and brewery signs on the ceiling. Service was friendly and quick. Only had soda in cans and water in bottles. Apparently they're not allowed to serve water from the tap, which seemed a bit weird. Menu was pretty basic bar food. I got the chicken Philly which came out quickly with fries and enjoyed it. Was in town for business and wanted a casual local place for lunch nearby. This checked all the right boxes. Cute historic alley with a bunch of local places. This one has a small interior and was playing great music with TVs tuned into sports. Service was really friendly and efficient. I got a great beer recommendation and then tried the Carolina burger which has chili. I couldn't resist adding pimento cheese since that was on other burgers. It didn't disappoint. It had so much flavor though admittedly it was messy as you might expect. Just loved it though. Burger was cooked well without being dry. The fries were also quite good too. I I recently dined and drank at QCBP The location and vibe were electric in "The French Quarter" and made for amazing people watching in the good weather. The staff was extremely helpful in accommodating our requests for further recommendations on where to dine and drink. The ambiance was great, and the food definitely lived up to my expectations. We tried the house recommendations- the burgers and if you visit the restaurant, you should too. I feel like an idiot because I work nearby and always see QCBC on Yelp and on lists of places nearby to eat but for some reason I have never actually seen it. Well now I found out that it is because it is down in the ally of french quarter. It is small but cute, decorated with tap handles. Service was fantastic! Great drink list! I had a burger with poutine fries and both were really good. Not going to say the poutine was amazing but considering that hardly anyone in town even has it on the menu, it will do. This Queens city bite of a black bean burger was a bit lackadaisical @queencitybitesandcrafts  The server was sweet enough to tell me the burger crumbles and a wrap would be easier. I still wanted the burger but they still got me a wrap. On informing them, they took it back but likely got the beans out of the wrap and slapped it onto the burger Under seasoned beans, not warm enough buns were enough to not kick it out the park. The fries looked crisp but likely floured and double fried. No concerns with the double frying for crispier textures but not a fan of those dusted in flour. I've been here every other day for 2 months. The staff are great and love me. The ownership wants you to leave within 20 minutes despite being a social district with multiple bars/restaurants. Regardless of how much money you spend they want you to leave within 20 minutes of arrival. Out of all the bars/restaurants in uptown this is the least friendly establishment to guests that want to have a couple drinks, lunch, and a chill stay to yourself vibe. This establishment wants you to bout your lunch, leave, and never come back. read more

Didn't realize this was a bar until I got there but by then, hunger had set in & I was committed to getting my burger Chose the Veggie Mediterranean. The fries were outstanding. The burger was meh. Such an awesome spot!!! There are about 4 seats at the bar, 2 six top tables, 2 four top tables, 4 seats against another wall side bar. There are a few tables outside. We arrived a little after noon and we're able to sit indoors, right away. The servers are fantastic! Super friendly, kind, attentive and just all around GREAT! They use QR codes for the beer and food menu. My kiddos were welcomed. The quesadilla was loaded with veggies and chicken. Delicious! Grilled chicken sandwich and fries was a hot for the 8 year old. A plain hamburger hit the spot for the teen and hubby enjoyed the Buffalo chicken sandwich. Our friends had hot dogs and said they were good as well. Perfect size for lunch. Really nice little pub located in the Brevard Court alley. The servers are fun, attentive and the beer selection is good. The kitchen serves all of the normal bar food with really good burgers. There is a better than average beer selection with a focus on craft micro brews. There is a cozy atmosphere inside and picnic tables outside. Plans for watching the UNC basketball game with friends at a local bar had changed and we quickly needed to find a place with a big screen tv airing the game and some good food. Game was starting in less than an hour! This place came up on Yelp and absolutely fit the bill. Great place for a burger, drinks, watching the game, and especially people-watching. Had a great experience! Was in the city to check out the Girl Tribe Pop Up and the weather was gorgeous so we ended up walking around the city. Once we realized we were hungry we made our way to QCBC. We sat outside - again, gorgeous day - and the staff was super attentive even being out there. Our water was refilled in a timely manner and we were regularly checked on to see if we needed anything else. Bf ordered the veggie burger with chips and I had nachos with white chicken chili on them. I know my bf liked his burger, but I loved my nachos. They were very flavorful and filling. Been here twice and my burger was amazing both times. I like the QCBC burger and I add fried egg and chili. So good!! Nice and messy just how I like it! I usually get a side of fries and they are perfect too. Nice and crispy, not soggy. I've tried a couple of the beers but can't remember which pale ale I had. It was good though. I love that QCBC is open late like other restaurants/bars in Brevard Court. There is a good crowd during the evening hours too! Not to mention the good music playing over the speakers. If you want to watch a game here there are TVs for that too. Stop in when you're in the neighborhood - you won't regret it. read more

Placed a pick up order from here. It's located in an alley with several other bars / eateries. Burgers were great. I would go back.

The place is small but the vibe (as the kids say) is pretty cool. There's about a half dozen seats at the bar and a couple TV. There are also seats outside if it gets too packed or you're not comfortable by the small space. There are no physical menus but there are a lot of QR codes around that you can scan. I ordered the chipotle jalapeno burger with fries. The burger was a perfect medium and had a good flavor. Fries were crispy! I got there around 12:30 and there wasn't much of a crowd. Food was ready in about 15 minutes. The staff is very nice and very helpful. Be prepared though, none of the staff wear masks. So, if that makes you uncomfortable just keep that in mind. read more
