We are so grateful that Pinky's never lets us down ! Always a great option true and true . I've been going here for years and honestly have no notes or complaints . Affordable and savory no matter what you get . Best bartenders in Charlotte, you could close your eyes and pick anything off the menu and enjoy it .No matter how long the wait is it's worth every minute . I tried the Flounder special for the first time . Amazing . Pinky's always offers something you can't quite get anywhere else . For the flounder , it was the fresh dill in the batter, it gave it a certain tang that just sets it apart . Hearty portions ! Trust you won't leave still hungry . Couldn't come to Charlotte without trying Pinky's that we saw on triple D. It's was nice to find a generous sized Pinky's parking lot just around the corner. It's on the street to the left when facing the entrance. As we were walking towards the entrance I overheard one gal in a party of 5 call it a secret hidden gem. Not much of a secret given how crowded it was when we entered. Looked as though some people were waiting for an outside table but we were seated quickly. It was refreshing to see that our table cleaned and the floor swept around it. Service was timely starting with water, mocktails, appetizer and sandwich. All the food tasted fresh and properly cooked. There was enough leftovers to satisfy us later that evening when we got back home. The crab balls were flavorful and tartar sauce delicious. Cole slaw was unique and enjoyed. The philly cheese steak sandwich was perfect. The au jus was a nice addition with a slight vinegary bite. We normally don't do specialty drinks but the mocktails were intriguing; the blueberry one tasted like liquid jam. The cream soda had just the right amount of lavender. It was fun to look around at all the memoribilia and notice that the World Cup final pregame show was on above the bar. 2nd time visiting from California and second time at Pinky's! It's a must when we come to town! Delicious pimp'n fries - tried it with veggie chili but next time I'll try bacon. Serving size was good for sharing. Fried pickles with ranch were the perfect blend of crispy, crunchy, salty and tangy. Ranch was good too. Got the build your own pterodactyl burger with pimento cheese and pepper jack and substituted on Texas toast. Heaven! Also tried the velvet Elvis which is an interesting blend of peanut butter, honey, banana, cream cheese and bacon.. surprisingly good despite our initial hesitation. Service was amazing all around, attentive & quick. Parking lot is small but extra parking was plentiful in the dirt lot a short walk next door. Got to try pinky's west side grill while visiting charlotte ! Featured in dinners ,drive ins and dives ! We had to check it out ! I tried the let's get fizzical which was very nice . And the kicker chicken tacos ! A fun restaurant with super attentive and friendly service. My friend and I shared the waffle fries with pimento cheese and it was smothered and so tasty! Had their special purple rain but asked for no lavender and it was really good as well. Ordered the Patsy Melt and it was a really good burger, huge meat patty. We then ordered the banana pudding and it is a super big serving. Creamy and plenty of Nilla wafers. Washed it down with an espresso martini and really happy with our visit here. Finally got to try this restaurant with a few friends and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were upbeat and genuinely seemed happy to be there! There was always someone there to take our order, trash or grab anything we could have needed which I really appreciate. Met up with some family at Pinky's for dinner. It was a very busy night. When we arrived there was a bit of a wait so we put our names on the list. After waiting for 20 minutes or so we were concerned that we still had not been called to be seated. After checking in with the hostess, it turns out they gave our table to another party. They fixed the mistake as soon as they could and we were seated in the next 10 minutes. We ordered a couple of drinks and some appetizers to start. The bar gave us the incorrect drink sizes at first, but again, the mistake was fixed easily and the waitress was very kind and apologetic about all the mishaps. My drink (the pain killer) was strong and delicious. We ordered crab bites and buffalo shrimp for the table. My recipe would be to skip the crab bites, but the shrimp were good! For dinner I ordered the half cheesesteak which was just okay. If I went back, I would try something else. All in all the customer service really made up for the mishaps here and earned an extra star. If I'm ever back in town I may come back knowing my party would be taken care of well. read more

It makes me sad to leave less than 5 stars for pinky's, but I feel like they are not to the level they used to be in years past. The level of service is the same and the pimp n fries are just as good, but they greatly decreased the number of cocktails on their menu and have a more mainstream vibe than they used to. So while me and R were the candlelight concert for Bridgerton. My husband had passed this gem and stopped in for a bit. He brought me back the next day. In such a great location an old Volkswagen repair garage. This grill was featured two different times on Guy Fieri's Diners drive-in and dives Friday night J got the corn dog shrimp the night before and later that night even cold out the fridge they were just so good while we were here Saturday, we ended up getting an adult Capri Sun and my husband got a corpse survivor that Sam herself made. Everyone there had a smile and a warm welcome. The vibe was eclectic and its funky feel was just what we needed this hot afternoon We chose the crab balls done in hush puppie batter.. sweet Lorraine, these were amazing and the homemade Tartar sauce was such a perfect compliment to them. read more

The wait staff is highly knowledgeable, friendly, and makes it a point to really spoil the customers. Fried Pickles and the Fried Chicken Bites were absolutely off the chart. Save room for the incredible Banana Pudding that I saved with my fried. Next time, I may curtail the appetizers and have one of those excellent triple custom hamburgers that were truly delicious--had a great time! The mgr that day said they did change to brioche buns a while back. I knew it was different! Another Uber Eats from: Pinky's Westside Grill. Absolutely recommend their food! As you can see, I tried a variety of items. Everything was excellent. I have to admit one of my favorites - other than the shrimp - was definitely the crab hush puppies! If you do the onion straws, it's probably best eating them fresh on site so that they are crispy. They were understandably softer, but the flavor was good. Rueben Dog, Falafel, Skrimpz, White Trash Burger. Highly recommend giving them a try. read more

Had an amazing time at Pinky's Westside Grill! Everyone in Charlotte was there... whenever I'm out of town I stop at a Triple D location and eat what Guy Fieri got on the show. The food came out with great speed and was delicious. I got the Corndog shrimp with waffle fries. The shrimp were gigantic and the corndog batter was light with a slight bit of sweetness. Being from Buffalo, I naturally selected the Buffalo sauce to dip my shrimp to give it that sweet and spicy contrast and it did not disappoint! Especially because the bufffalo sauce was made in house and not out of a jar! I was out with a group and we were having fun, but the waitress had fun with us and had amazing vibez! I loved that all the workers were in a Restaurant T-shirt but still were able to dress and express themselves. The place was busy. There is indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of tables. The parking lot is very small but they have additional parking in the back to accommodate the flow. I liked my meal and look forward to coming back to try their famous Burgers . Second time I visited this gem. I brought a friend, it was his first time. I ordered the French Dip Burger with Homemade Potato Chips. The burger was amazing without the dip but dipping that baby in the juice took it to another level. The chips were perfectly done and very thin with a side of their homemade ranch. We came here on a whim one day just for something close by to where we were. We were seated quickly and our server greeted us with water within maybe 2 minutes. She was super friendly (I don't recall her name though) and checked on us in good intervals. The prices were cheap and the food and drinks were really good! The blend of fresh and tangy Thai flavors in the slaw paired with the peanut butter bring out a rounded richness that tops the grilled chicken swimmingly - and makes it a bit messy! The Fried Squash was fresh, cruncy, and greasy. Exactly what you want your friend vegetables to be - light and heavy at the same time. This is one of the better side dishes I've tried in CLT - and it's made even better by the REAL star of the dish, the Wasabi Ranch! The first taste brought an involuntary smile to my face that I couldn't shake. The punch to the senses that wasabi brings followed up by the most creamy ranch. It is the perfect pairing. I'd buy it by the bottle. Staff is incredible, very helpful in menu literacy and our drinks never ran empty. I have eaten at Pinky's a few times and have loved it. I recommend parking in the back as parking right in front of the restaurant can be tricky with it being located at a busy intersection. The food is yummy and I appreciate the vegetarian options. I love the burgers and you can switch out any patty for a veggie patty if you like. I have tried the stray dog which had a veggie hot dog and wasn't a fan. It tasted like the hot dog was microwaved rather than grilled which makes a difference.
