I ordered the Bistro burger with a Turkey patty and added smashed avocado in place of the avocado crema. My patty was juicy and well seasoned. I loved the grilled onions and fresh arugula that came on it! I also loved that my tater tots were crispy but not over cooked! Everything was just delicious! My son did a create your own burger with 2 angus beef patties, fried mozzarella patty, garlic mayo, and pesto on a Brioche bun!! It was massive and he was in hamburger heaven!!! The parking lot is small but I'd pay for parking if I had to! The place is not big but they do have a nice size outdoor patio area! It is very casual and clean! It also wasn't too loud! My daughter and I were in the mood for burgers and we were close to Bad Daddy's, so why not stop? The hostess was great. She was very kind and helpful. We sat outside. Two servers walked past us multiple times and never acknowledged us. We sat for 10 minutes without a drink, a hello, or a we'll be right with you. . We had enough time to review the menu and write our orders since we were doing the "Build Your Own" option. Another table sat in the area and one of the same servers who never acknowledged the two of us was at their table within 2 minutes and brought their drinks shortly after. At that point, we left. There was no reason to stay. We drove a few miles away and got great food and service at Pinky's. When in the mood for Bad Daddy's I'll be sure to go to the Birkdale location. I really wanted to like this location, but the cleanliness and overall atmosphere were disappointing. As soon as I opened the restroom door to wash my hands, there was a dirty mop bucket sitting right in the doorway. Then, when I got to the sink, there was a bulky item sitting in it, making it impossible to wash my hands. That alone was enough to leave a bad impression. What made it even worse was seeing employees sitting in the dining area on their phones with headphones in instead of paying attention to the restaurant. It gave the impression that cleanliness and customer service were not priorities. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because a clean restaurant and attentive staff are the bare minimum. We ate in the restaurant and the entire place felt and smelt sticky. When the food came out the appearance was a 6/10, mainly because the sweet potato fries looked as if they were the crumbs at the bottom of a bag. The smash burger was very salty and overcooked. Upon entry into the restaurant we could smell how dirty it was. During the long wait for our food we had a good look at the cleanliness of the restaurant and restrooms - unfortunately what we saw was absolutely horrendous. Sticky menus, filthy carpets, the milkshake machine completely spattered in dried up cream, and the restrooms were poorly stocked and needed attention. If you're looking for the best burger around, Big Daddy's Burger Bar is your place. The burgers are cooked to perfection, and the toppings options are mind-blowing. I ordered the huge Bad A** burger, which was massive and delicious! I'm also a big fan of the Bacon BBQ Burger - its sweet and smokey flavors are on point. It doesn't get any better than this! The fries were excellent! Also, the service at Big Daddy's is top-notch. The waitstaff is super friendly and very helpful when it comes to choosing what burger to get. My only complaint is that the food is a bit expensive, we ordered food for seven people, and it cost us more than $230 including tip for the waiter. For our family, it costs around $100 bucks in most places but it was double here. I'm not complaining just an observation! Great burger place! My sister and I came here just wanting to get out of the house and I'm so glad we picked here! We got there about two hours before they closed and found out that all the apps are half off everyday two hours before they close. This is my favorite burger joint in Charlotte! I don't eat beef and sometimes its hard to find a tastey turkey burger. Bad Daddy lets you customize your burger, so I can choose turkey and all the toppings I want. Also I LOVE their fries both regular and truffled! Bad Daddy's is certainly one of the best places to get a nice burger that's reasonably priced as well! They have many chef inspired burgers to choose from or you can build your own. The burgers are always perfectly cooked with a slight crunch to the outside that makes them really stand out above other places. One thing that I really like is that you can choose most any side without an up charge. For instance, last time I was there I got the Ceasar salad and it was quite good. I love fries (who doesn't?!) but being able to choose other sides allows me to balance things out some as I try to limit the amount of fried foods that I consume. They have craft beer and a full bar and the drinks are reasonably priced. I ordered a spicy margarita and it was very tasty! I have been several times but I'm just now writing this review. In summary, Bad Daddy's is a great place to grab a nice burger in a casual but very nice atmosphere.
