Chenoa McDonald's is the BIGGEST joke. I pull up to the window and order 5 dollar meal deal, Gold deluxe Mccrispy, 2 10 McNuggets, 3 medium fries, 2 small fries, caramel frappe add Oreo, ranch, bbq, golden sauce, and chili sauce. I get up to the 1st window and pay for my meal which comes out to $45. I then pull up to the second window and the lady aggressively holds out her hand with 1 of my drinks. After I take said drink she then grabs the other drinks and puts it in my face. This second drink was the caramel frappe. She lady then proceeds to tell me that they don't do Oreos on the frappes anymore which is a lie but whatever. Then she holds the 2 bags of food out at me. Mind you the bags are actively ripping as the are so full. I then pull around to make sure the order is correct but big shock it isn't. We are missing 3 medium fries and golden and chili sauce. So I walk up to the door and it says dining room closed to renovations. So I get back in the car and pull around to the window and explain the situation. "Pull to the second window" So I pull to the second window and they tell me to pull forward. 10 minutes to go by and still no replacement food. So I walk up to the drive thru window and say "I have been here for 30 minutes and my food still isn't right and all my previous food is now cold" "Ok we will remake it" "Do you know when it will be out" "No" I would think that if I am waiting for remade food I would get pushed to the front of the line but apparently not. So I wait for another 5 minutes and nothing so I leave my sister by the window so she can wait for the food and I pull back around to the window so I can get my refund. I then pull around to the second window AGAIN and the food still isn't right. All the food is there EXCEPT for all the sauces. So I ask for my sauces that I PAID FOR and they say "We are going to have to charge you for the extra sauces. "Oh and we don't have any golden sauce. We just ran out." "Seriously??? It wouldn't have run out if you would have given it to the PEOPLE WHO ORDERED IT FIRST." So they say we can have the sauces or a refund. I said "No we are getting both the sauces and refund because I've now been here for 40 minutes." "Well you can either keep the food or get a refund" "Are you serious?? I just waited for 40 minutes to get the right food and now you want to take my food back to give me a refund???" "Yes sir" "Ok then." I grab my card out of their hand and drive off. Customer service is just getting worse and people don't want to do anything about it. My business will be taken elsewhere and this will be getting posted everywhere. read more

Average McDonald's. Food and service were fine. Went on a weekend around lunchtime and was not too busy. Playplace available, which is a nice plus, although the floors were terribly greasy. Fairly clean bathroom. Ample parking. Next to a gas station and only a minute or two off Highway 55, so this is a nice highway stop for us. read more

Went inside. Used bathroom. it was not very clean. Ordered a Big Mac Meal and a 10 piece nugget. Staff was friendly. Took food to car to split with my passenger. The Big mac was smaller than a normal cheeseburger. the meat was thinner and smaller in diameter that a cheeseburger!! also no little onions. the fries were not very warm and not salted at all. I was there yesterday to enjoy a meal with my family. Immediately when we walked in the play place was blocked off (some mcdonald's this is). So we sit down and I get ice cream for the kiddos. We sit by a window and i began to rest my arm on the glass. Oh wait there is none. No glass. The workers were decent but slow service. As we are enjoying our meal. I overhear a working very loudly cursing and laughing. I don't raise my kiddos around those types of words. Our pastor tells us it is evil. I was told the other night there was no ice, ordered a sweet tea. and a shake shake machine was down ofcourse they had no sweet tea , then ordered dr. pepper, a double quarter pounder plain meal , a mcdouble, and a deluxe Mccrispy with fries. the double quarter pounder was so saturated with grease the box fell apart I had to dry it with a paper towel then bite into it and it was raw as can be, the mccrispy was so old it was turning black, and the mcdouble was completely smashed, not to mention we ate our fries and go to take a drink of the dr.pepper and it was straight syrup, over 25 dollars and the only thing edible was the fries. called the complaint line had to wait 20 minutes just to talk to someone haven't heard anything back at all read more

If you're driving and want to stop here, wait 15 minutes for Bloomington or Pontiac. This has to be the worst McDonald's I've been to. Order is almost always wrong. Management always has an attitude when you call to report problems. Drive through cashier has an attitude. Getting someone on the speaker in the drive through is always difficult and takes more than a few minutes. Just don't stop here. read more

Sprite tasted like bleach I almost threw up. Manager said they just haven't added syrup yet. It was much worse than just co2. I wad there for a half hour no one even looked at soda machine. Ketchup was also out. Don't know if any drinks were working. Manager was smug and unhelpful. read more

A most definitely not a recommendation for travelers on I55. If you do stop to order food, make sure your order is right before you leave. Staff needs better training in customer service as the window workers are always rude and if you ask for extra ketchup packets you will get the eye roll. read more

This McDonald's lost stars not because the food wasn't good and fresh but because the staff was not friendly at all! When I stepped up to the register...I said hello to the young man behind the counter, crickets and tumbleweeds! So, I thought he didn't hear me so I said it again...yep crickets and tumbleweeds! I felt like the staff was just ready to go home and it was not a welcoming environment! I'm glad it was just a pit stop on our way back home! It's sad because the fries, amazingly fresh! This place is horrible. Food is always old. Fries are always only half full.... the last 5 times I've gone there, 4 of those times my orders were messed up. And not to speak the last time I was inside there was bugs everywhere. In the bathroom sink, in the entry way, even in the seating area!!! Let's just say the service was way less inviting than I thought. Food was poorly thrown together. I expect people to love their job.

This location is really hit-or-miss. Sometimes we encounter friendly staff, fast service, hot food, complete orders, and a clean lobby. Other times the staff is awkward, the wait is long, the food is lukewarm, items ordered are forgotten, and the lobby is messy. There is a playplace, which is a plus. It's a bit of a challenging structure, good for slightly older kids. If you are craving a sweet tea, this is not the place to come. It's watered down with a slightly off taste. I have heard others complain about it too. I did get some particularly good chicken nuggets here once though. Overall middle-of-the-road sort of McDonalds. read more

I'm actually reviewing McDonald's. Very positively at that! What's up with all of the bad reviews? I'm a trucker for a living, I always pass this lonely stop in Chenoa. I have never had bad food or service here. As a matter of fact to quite the contrary! The food at this location seems to just taste better. The people who work here are very friendly and just downright nice! I was here today, and I go to order my proverbial grilled chicken pico guacamole sandwich. Their electronic signs still had the sandwich up. They informed me that my favorite is no longer available. Usually, I'd get upset because they still advertise it. A young man working there suggested the new barbeque bacon onion chicken sandwich. To my surprise, it was excellent! I've been to more than my fair share of McDonald's restaurants. I've come to expect shitty service and mediocre food at best. This restaurant is a stand out because the service and food are excellent. These guys are the reason why I no longer have a disdain for McDonald's! Great job, Chenoa! read more
