This location had a young crew on hand and they were on top of their game. The drive through was quite busy so I went in to order. I was greeted and my order taken. You're provided a number. I had my order in no time! Quite an efficient crew! My deluxe double basket with fries and sweet tea was just the meal I needed after coming back in the country. Two days since our last visit we stopped by on our way home to the St Louis area from Chicagoland...and once again the A Team scored! This time my wife had the same meal as last time and I changed up and had the Bacon Double Cheeseburger meal! Fantastic! Great food and great service! Victor was rocking the customer service counter! Deeeeelicious!! I've lived in the area for almost my whole life now, and this Culvers has NEVER let me down!! Their wait times may be long during their busier hours, but I've never had to wait longer than maybe 15 mins for my food. And the food is so yummy, best cheese curds ever!! I've been to Culver's around the Midwest perhaps 5 times in my life. Today I ordered a cheeseburger from this Bloomington location. I thought the burger had a weird taste. From the very first bite something was wrong. I ate about 50% of it. I don't know why. It didn't taste like the burgers in the past. Did they change suppliers? I don't know what went wrong. I tried the cod sandwich that was being promoted at the time, and I was not impressed. The filet was tender and moist, but there was more breading the fish. And as usual, the photo on the menu board did not match what I got. I don't understand why restaurants don't get this. If you put a photo of a fish sandwich and it appears that the filet is too big for the bun, that's what you better give me, not a small filet lost in a big bun and a thick layer of breading. I cannot recommend Culver's fish sandwich in any way. This particular location is clean, and the service was fast and friendly, considering we visited here along with a college softball team and a group of their parents, including us. read more

What do you need for a quick stop on a long drive? Close access to the highway, good food, and a clean bathroom. This location has it all. The adults ordered very tasty chicken sandwiches which were simple but "real" and the boys had yummy cheeseburgers. Back on the road happy! How are they getting fresh Wisconsin cheese curds in Bloomington, IL when you can't find a squeaky cheese curd anywhere in Chicago? Makes no sense, Bloomington is further from WI than Chicago. A lovely long weekend in St. Louis had come to a close and driving back to Chicago I thought, "Everyone else eats this crap all the time. I feel sad and I'm going to eat some crap." The cheese curds made me feel moderately better, even if it was only because of the id victory over the superego. That feeling never lasts, of course, hence the 4 stars. Fast food is flawed on principle. But Culver's seems like a really good choice if you are going to eat fast food, especially if you need some excitement along the very boring stretch of I-55 between Chicago and STL. read more

Today second attempt as we are heading home (Hagerstown Maryland) where there are no Culver's (what's up with that?!) my hubby convincing me there are the bomb.com. I wasn't happy with my grilled chicken sandwich. So he ordered the same thing: butter burger deluxe with bacon n his cheese curds (he lubs them!!) his peanut butter concrete mixer, super thick. I had the veggie n barley soup and strawberry fields salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing n I had to have reg fries so delish! I had a strawberry concrete mixer, I was pleasantly impressed n delighted that I didn't go to Subways, sorry folks! Id give this place a 10++++ it was delicious!!! I went back cos soup was warm, they got on it n made it right! No hesitation! Awesome workers!!! The restaurant clean n very beautiful, last one in Chyanne, Wyoming had a chandelier!!
