There is something seriously wrong with this McDonalds. No one is wearing gloves or mask! Owners please do something!

Worst McDonald's I've been to I've been to many when I travel. The lady in the window is very rude she always has you waiting for your food when no one is even there but you. If you speak through the mic when not spoken to she gets made and will say " I said wait a minute I'll help you in just a minute I'm the only one here " and let me remind you no one is there in line inside is closed only drive thru. Twenty minutes later she'll say "ok now what can I make for you". Breakfast is always cold just the worst ever. read more

I drove to Houston on a Monday afternoon and hit the McDonalds in Columbus. I waited for some time until a girl came to the counter who kept wiping her nose with her bare hands before finally using her sleeve. She wore NO name tag. The young man who was actually getting my food was not wearing a hat. A third employee working the drive through was also eating at the same time. I have never seen this before. The floor was a mess, tables un-bussed. I looked around for a manager and there was an older lady in the lobby collecting trash. I asked her if it was customary to not wear a hat in the food prep area. I pointed out the person chowing down on their quarter pounder while handling drive-through customers. She told me that I was correct to point this out and that she would fix it. I went out to my car and took a phone call. I decided after about five minutes to just eat my meal while parked in the lot and discovered my order was wrong. When i came back into the store after about five minutes, I saw NO changes. The kid was still wiping her nose on her hands, the other one was scooping fries with no hat and the meal that was being eaten within full view of every customer in the store was STILL there. I would have thought that the manager fixed those things when a customer pointed them out. Instead, she did NOTHING. So I took pictures. I am not posting them at this time because I don't want to do that with kids who are under-age. But I have them, and I have shots of how filthy the kitchen was. My order was wrong, and they got it right. On my way out of the parking lot a long black hair was on my bun. Disgusting. I didn't have time to go back and I don't normally YELP fast-food places. But this one HAD to be written because of the fact that NO ONE was trained, and the manager clearly didn't seem to care. Do NOT come to this McDonalds. The floor in the back had fries that were stepped on and grease. The bathrooms were ANOTHER story altogether. The mens room had no toilet paper and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. There was so much trash in the trash can that it was flowing out and all over the store. Sick. Just plain SICK. read more

I wish I could give this place no stars, after an excruciating eight hour drive me and my family stopped for a reliable source of quick and good food, or so I thought. I waited for my order for fourty minutes and eventually asked for a refund, which was denied to me because "my order was already made" well if it was already made why didn't they call me for it? The employees were out of uniform for the majority, and after waiting for my order I had to wait in line for my refund, not only was the cashier rude but also chose to turn around and joke around with her coworkers about the situation. Not to mention the line I stood in was not from people ordering but also requesting refunds. This place needs a drastic change. read more

It's a McDonald. Pretty standard food quality. The staff quickly corrected a food error with zero fuss. The play area was clean and the air conditioner worked. Thank you. The main dining area had no AC. Fix the AC and get 4-stars. read more

I brought my mother, wife and two kids, and two brothers with me from Austin to visit some family in Houston. We thought we would enjoy some delicious Frappes and Smoothies to refresh ourselves on the way. McDonald's is consistent, if bland, but their McCafe items are damn good. (Tease me if you must, but I stand by that.) Like Maureen, I should have been warned when we walked in and there were several customers milling around waiting for food already ordered. We ordered, in sub-family groups, and waited. And waited. Then their was more waiting. I got my Frappe before my brother who placed his order first. Except mine had whipped cream but the receipt showed I had asked for no whip. Then we mentioned to the lady behind the counter that it had been about five minutes, and that others who had ordered McCafe items AFTER all of us were getting their orders, but my brother had not. (He has cerebral palsy, so can not communicate unless you know sign language so I was helping him out.) That lady said she was the manager (without ever looking in my general direction) and looked at the computer and said "it was in the system." She then hollered at the other lady "working" the front near the Frappe machine and drive through area, who said "I'm still workin' on it!" It was grudgingly produced after another two minute wait. During that waiting time, the entire paid-but-not-yet-served customer base was treated to a sort of performance art, in the guise of hearing a loudly spoken private conversation. We were regaled with how slow the machine was, how much there was for those two poor women to do, and how customers just kept complaining about the slowness, and all of this was choreographed to a sort of slow motion ballet by the cast of those two women behind the counter. To add insult to injury, the Frappes and the Smoothies we ordered were gritty and had chunks of ice in them, an indication that the machine is out of order, but I have no hope that this one will EVER get repaired. To contrast, I mentioned this problem to a cashier level employee to an Austin McDonald's, and it was fixed the next day. (Yes, yes, I go to McDonald's that often for their coffees) The snail's pace, the uncaring attitude, and the lack of concern about out-of-order service probably had more to do with their self-professed history of complaints regarding slowness, but how could I really know? We'll be skipping this McDonald's in future Austin/Houston trips. You should too. Unless of course you just want to hang around the front counter for five or ten minutes and watch the "workers" carry on and have a good time while shuffling around to nominally "prepare", eventually, maybe something similar to your order. read more

Ordered a sausage muffin and a cup of coffee took nearly half an hour and they were not even busy! Total chaos employees arguing looked like little or no training owners of this franchise wake up, im local and I'm not coming back anytime soon and ill let others know ! read more

Every drink on the menu is 1.09 yet there is a sign literally out front that says drinks 'start at .89'. Was cussed out. Was told Darrell was getting high in the back and thats why service was slow by the same female that cussed us out and literally screamed "GO AWAY!!! GO TO BURGER KING!!!!! AAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Had to wait a good 15 minutes. Arrived 30 minutes before closing and was told theyre already closed. The sign said drive thru open untill 12am. It was roughly 11:34 when this fiasco started. Finally got my drink after refusing to leave and demanding to see a manager. Never did get to see a manager. The ONLY plus side to this is i didnt pay for my drink because a woman in black pants and a white teeshirt (assuming a friend of Darryl's, yes, the same woman that cussed us out.) went behind the counter and figured out how to use the drink machine. She was saccharin sweet when she saw the bored look on my wife's face after her primal scream. That's when she explained Darryl was getting high in the back room. Not sure if she knew how to use the register because i dont know if she worked there but free is free i guess. Definitely won't be coming back if i can help it. read more

I walked in an ordered food for my family, and everything was fine. We were in the car when we realized they forgot our sauces, so not thinking I got up and went into the restaurant. I forgot my mask but just as I was about to walk out to get it, remembering that it was required, the manager in training RUDELY said with an aggravated tone, "You needa mask." I didn't say anything and went outside to get one. After I got my mask I came back in to get my sauces. I politely told her that I personally felt that there was a little more of a respectful tone and sentence that she could've used to me and she said, "Shut up i'm on the phone with my momma." And went back to what she was doing. She continued to add on that she didn't have to be nice to me and that she didn't have to serve my family. Unbelievable. read more

BEWARE!!! DO NOT STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE!!! I stopped by this location on my way home last night from a 3 hour drive for a bathroom break and a coffee. The bathroom was disgusting, trash was littered all over the floor, the toilets looked like they had not been cleaned in months, it stank so bad but I couldn't hold it and had to use the facility. Afterwards, I proceeded to the counter to order a coffee and stood at the register for quite some time while the 2 employees carried on with their personal conversation with a group of 3 girls. One lady was mopping and carrying on with the conversation and neither one of the employees greeted me, made eye contact, or even bothered to acknowledge my presence. After patiently waiting, I asked the lady that was mopping if someone could please take my order, she snapped and told me to wait. I was so frustrated that I started recording the event on my phone. At that time she demanded I put my phone away and started to cuss at me with vulgar language and then humiliated me with racist comments about my ethnicity. Within minutes a lady from the back came to the front, said whe was the manager and explained the lady mopping was also a manager. When I told her how horrible I was being treated, she immediately became defensive and was not willing to assist me. The entire video captured these employees laughing and insulting me and when I had enough, one of the ladies ran out to the parking lot to take a picture of my vehicle and said she would find me later. That seemed like a threat to me. I took the time to reach out to the corporate office today and they refused to own the situation. They said they would forward the complaint to the owner and that because this was a franchised location, they could not disclose any information to assist me further. I am in the process of seeking legal assistance and plan on taking this complaint all the way to the top. This location has no business serving the public. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE... read more

It took 30 minutes to receive 4 apple pies / 2 McFlurries / 1 coffee. The 4 apple pies seem to have been the problem. I would be forgiving except that when the rest of our order was delivered, our order # disappeared from the "in progress" monitor and I had to keep asking when they would be ready. I don't think I was the only one in this situation as 3-4 other customers were lined up at the pickup counter asking about their orders too. read more

Dirty. Run down. Maxi pads on sink in bathroom. Bugs and water stains in ceiling. Lots of wrong orders. They messed up my drink. I asked for a cup and she argued she has to charge. They already upcharged eaxch drink that came with meal, .99 each. Employees criticized guests, spoke unprofessionally in slang, and looked disheveled. Horrible McDonald's experience. This is the worst service I have ever got at a McDonald's! The ppl were rude, I waited nearly 30 mins for my food which didn't come out right, I told them something about it and instead of helping or hurrying to make the order they were just laughing and cracking jokes about it. Lastly no ice when multiple ppl told them something about it. I am beyond pissed and unsatisfied with my experience there today. This is the most awful place in Columbus!!!!! The service is the absolute WORST!!!!! Drive thru is a joke!! The orders are never right.....ice cream machine is always broke. If I could give 0 stars I would!!!! First they lose my order and give it to someone and then when I come up to ask where it is since it's been 15 min and the place is basically empty the guy working told me "um no it hasn't" I placed my order at 7.20 and it was 7.35 nobody does anything to check on it I come back thinking they would have re-made it and I walk up to them talking bad about me saying that I already came up and got it which I never did!! I state that i didn't and then another women behind the counter states that she wanted to fight me!! How disgusting the nasty rudest people I have ever seen in my life! Slow, slow, slow. I tried to order multiple items and were told I couldn't for various reasons. I arrived around 8:30 and they had already closed the play area without a sign so I let my kids go in. As I was finally ordering I heard the manager ask an employee if there were children in the play area. The older gentleman said yes and then another employee said quite loud, "then tell them to get the f@! $ out". The manager laughed and did nothing. Now, I don't expect much from McDonald's, but that was even out of the ordinary for a standard subpar McDonald's. Needless to say, I am glad I don't frequent McDonald's and glad I don't leave in Columbus so I don't have ro , by chance, go back. read more

That is the filthiest Mc Donald's I've ever been in. That place is gross. The floor is black and sticky. Windows filthy, the cashier's fingernails were filthy, every time the front door opens bugs fly in through the door because a bright light is next to the door. Everything about this Mc Donald's made me leave. I looked around and we said, "let's get out of here." The people working in that McDonalds are lazy and do not care. A really over weight lady who works there was sitting at a counter yakking on the phone and said," this place is dirty." She and the other workers both just looked at each other like, " oh well." Walked in for breakfast, 3 women up front. One on phone, one eating a cookie and one just standing there. Not one of them acknowledged us. We stood there for a good 5 minutes before one walked up to register and said "can I help you?", Very rudely. She was more interested in the other woman's phone conversation than helping us. This McDonalds is the worst of the worst. I've never had such slow service in all my life. There is only one lady that works there that is fast and kind and I've only seen her working the window a few times. Whenever she is there, they have someone taking orders and money at the first window and she works the second window and she is very sweet and fast. All the other times you sit at the order area for about 6-8 minutes on average before someone ever comes on the speaker, there are cars lined up behind you - never a thank you or pull forward, nothing but rudeness. It's uncalled for. If you are that unhappy at your job then quit. This happens most times I stop there, I know now if I want to stop at this McDonalds to leave the house about 20 minutes early in order to get to work in time. I used to live in the Houston suburbs and the McDonalds there are super fast and have two drive through lanes and they move those cars like clock work. I'm not sure who the franchise owner is of this restaurant but he is throwing money out the door by not giving a crap about his business. read more
