Yiiiikes... a little ironic when you see their Covid procedure taped on the drive through window and you see two employees not wearing their mask at all or incorrectly. I completely understand needing a break but the timing was absolutely terrible. If I could give this establishment less than one star I would. The girl working the drive through today 8/28/19 at 5:00 pm was being rudely dismissive the entire time that I was trying to order food. Chose the drive through. They asked me to pull over. After 10 min. a lady came to bring my food. It was not even half of what I ordered. McDonald's - Fast Food Near Me - Cornelius, North Carolina

The last two times I have been to this McDonald's our orders have been wrong. Both times I had to wait and some one bring it out to me. 1st Time was around 2pm on a Sunday ordered a quarter pounder no cheese, I even asked the person at the window before I moved up to wait to please make sure that it had NO Cheese and of course it had cheese. I had to wait a good 5-7 minutes our order. When I got home of course it had cheese on it. My receipt even said no cheese. 2nd time 12pm Saturday and very few customers I ordered a Cheeseburger Happy Meal. Got a plain hamburger. After checking to make sure my order was correct, (I thought) I get home (which is only a half mile away) and there is no cheese on the burger wrapped in a yellow cheeseburger paper. There were no special request with our order, we waited for 5 minutes for someone to bring it out to our car. The fries were cold sandwiches were lukewarm so I'm not sure what we waited on. When ordering the guy taking our order acted as if he didn't know the menu or ingredients like is the Fanta caffeine free. How hard is it to read an order and get it right? read more

I downloaded the Yelp app just to tell you how sad this mcdonalds is. No matter what I have ordered in the past, they manage to get something completely wrong. I wait for 15 minutes for burger that looks a lot like a fish filet. Unfortunately, it is the best (only) thing around here for people trying to be quick. We have been living here 2 yrs within these year I have seen some good changes. They are " cleaning up their act" No shirts No shoes No Service! Sandra district manger Shane, Bob, ... Few others I have met are really trying. However, this goes out to MOMs if your children have off this is coming from a MOM and you want meet up with friends CONTROL your little darlings or a lovely picnic in a park. This location must be the odd ball of the area because their prices are always higher than the other McDonald's around here. For instance, a large Tea at any other McDonald's is $1, at this location, $1.49. Same thing on their $1 Menu. Evidently the management is trying to run up some profits at the expense of the customers. Now, if you don't mind paying the extra money, you might rethink that once you visit the restrooms which were disgusting. I came to this mcdonalds late on a Friday. Around 1230pm, I waited a decent amount of time at the drive thru which I didn't mind. When I finally got to the 2nd window a manager told me that my order didn't go through and they thought I left when there was just a long line to of cars! She also said I had to pay cash and they don't accept debit cards that late at night. She didn't make sense at all so I left and went to Wendy's! read more

Employees never smile. Counter staff is rude. Managers yell to get attention of employees. Maintenance guy smokes on the job and looks sloppy. He comes into building, leaves his cigarette burning outside and smells up the whole lobby like smoke. After they remodeled a few years ago, it hasn't been the same. Families don't come in. The new layout is horrible. Plus, they play church music on the radio all day. Avoid this place. read more

This is the worst mcdonalds i have ever been to . I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit with 4 extra hashbrowns. I waited for 30 min and they forgot to process my order. I do not know if this location has gone through a management change, or what, but service has gone from very poor to excellent. The ladies working the drive thru lately are fast, friendly, and accurate! There's nothing worse than driving away to find out your Dr. Pepper is Diet Coke, or that you hamburger is chicken nuggets. The restaurant was very busy, but the manager Trina was extremely friendly and helpful. All of the employees were friendly and pleasant.

While I was placing my order, the employee couldn't hear me well and asked me to speak up, so I had to almost yell. I ordered a sweet tea with my meal. When I reached the 2ND window I paid the cashier and then I was told to pull up because my fries were not done. At least 5-6 cars were able to get their orders before someone came out to with my food, at which point I was already on my way inside because I had noticed that my order said Un-sweetened tea. I had called the store's phone number listed on the receipt to try to let them know before the employee came out with my food, but no one answered after 10 rings on two separate calls. After I went inside to get my drink, the Manger proceeded to help with the drive thru orders instead of giving me the correct drink which I explained wad the reason I was on my way inside. She then gave me the wrong drink, which I didn't find out until after I had gotten back to my car. So I had to go in Again. Then she gave the wrong drink Again. I tasted it right there at the counter so she then corrected my drink and gave a half - assed apology. When I said thank you for my drink, she didn't even say you're welcome. Highly dissatisfied with this visit, which isn't even the worst one. They NEVER EVER EVER get my order right. You wait more than 10 minutes in the drive thru for them to mess up your order. For me to request No Mayo in the drivethru is a monumental task. Then when you get your order the employees spend more time talking then actually handing the bag to you. That happened today and several other times. They are holding the bag and joking around with eachother at the window then finaly, "oh look....a customer....let me give him THE BAG WITH HIS FOOD IN IT INSTEAD OF STANDING HERE TALKING TO MY COWORKERS". Then you leave because your on your break and have no time, you call and the response is some ridiculous reason for failure and your name gets taken down. When you arrive at the location to get your free meal one of two things will happen, 1. They wont have record of your name or situation. 2. They'll mess your order up again. either way you'll be dealing with someone who is somewhat confrontational Ide rather drive down 77 to the next exit to burger king and eat their horrible food just so I can finally have my order correct. The Neaders should drive there and place an order at peak hours just so they can see for themselves how horrible. Piss poor service read more
