Spike's Delight on an everything bagel
    Bret H.

Even the cashier with a bad attitude couldn't stop this from being a an awesome dining experience. I had never had a steamed bagel sandwich before and it just works. Sloppy, gooey, and comfort food to the extreme. I highly recommend going here and trying one.

Visited the newer Sully's sandwich shop this was my first time hearing about the chain but it seems they are a southern staple. The sandwiches are made on a steamed bagel but delicious. I tried two, with some modifications. I got Nacho maximus and the Free bird. Both flavorful sandwiches, satisfyingly messy, but the Nacho Maximus was a bit better. Hoping it remains clean and the food consistency promising because I want to try the breakfast sandwiches one day! If you go enjoy!

Had a late lunch at Sully's steamers in Davidson. Just felt like a bagel sandwich and it was already after two, which is when most bagel shops close but not this one. This bagel shop steams their bagels so that they're not terribly hard and crunchy, which is difficult when eating a sandwich. (my opinion.) The very pleasant and friendly associate, Morgan, waited on me and fully explained the process . I ordered the original Italian on an asiago bagel. Their takeout bags say " I'm a hot mess" and it's true but so yummy. I especially enjoyed the Parmesan peppercorn dressing. Make sure you visit Sully's Steamers at 721 Jetton St. It's right on the corner of one of the roundabouts off exit 30. They have an outside seating area with yellow umbrellas. Right next to Davidson Day school. Worth the trip.

Turkey Sandwich. Yes, there is turkey in there.

Well, this is an easy one. The sandwiches are steamed, never toasted--and always on a bagel. You can choose the type of bagel. My turkey sandwich was awesome! The only negatives are price and time. Perhaps the price is due to inflation and covering costs, but it's still expensive. Since it's steamed, the wait is also about 8-10 minutes. If you have ever been to Firehouse Subs, the wait time is similar. Yea, Sully's Steamers is worth the wait. And if you pass by this joint, please know that it's not a vacuum cleaner store or seafood. I can guarantee you that many people have thought one or the other. If they were stoned, maybe both. Service is friendly. Definitely recommended but only a once-in-a-while place if you're on a budget. Otherwise, full steam ahead! Sorry.

Bagels are soft and supple - and mostly gluten free!! I always get the neighborino and it's always good, whether it is takeout or eat-in. Service is always good, it is a very family friendly place.

Ever think I want a sandwich that's just a little different? Put it on your choice of bagel and now you have something different. Take some great combinations of meat and cheese or traditional breakfast and put it on a bagel such as Asiago cheese or everything. The sandwiches are steamed which keeps the bagel firm but it can still hold up to the meat, cheese, and sauces. Come in, order at the counter, and grab a seat. They'll bring out your sandwich in about 5-10 minutes even on a busy Sunday afternoon. Seating could be a bit challenging at peak times when it's hot or cold outside. There's plenty of parking behind the building plus on street parking. Stop by for a quick and filling meal!

Pretty good bagel sandwich shop. There were quite a few that looked interesting, we had trouble choosing. I had the nacho Maximus with no lettuce or mustard. It had good flavor. They also gave me the part of the the Doritos bag they didn't use to make my sandwich. Husband said his was pretty good and kiddo liked the pb&j.

Breakfast Bagel, with bacon, egg, and American cheese - look at that chewy goodness!

After missing the steamed bagels from Owens Bagels (closed since 2019), my husband and I were excited to try a similar concept at Sully's Steamers. We went for breakfast one weekday morning and split two bagels--a Breakfast Bagel with bacon, egg, and American cheese on a jalapeño cheddar bagel, and an everything bagel with plain cream cheese. We also tried their locally roasted coffee. The bagels arrived steaming hot--almost too hot to hold at first! We loved the warm, chewy texture of the bagels. Both tasted great, although the cream cheese bagel could have had more cream cheese (IMO). The jalapeño cheddar bagel was a good call for the Breakfast Bagel--the cheesy bagel added great flavor, and the jalapeño wasn't too hot. I would have preferred the egg being fried rather than microwaved, however. The coffee was flavorful and strong. We really enjoyed our meal. And there are so many bagels to choose from, we can't wait to try more of them!

    El Camino

This was my first visit to this location. I ordered the El Camino, and the bagel was warm and soft. The service was fast, making it a convenient stop for a quick and tasty meal. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area.

Commuting into Charlotte got you down? A delicious breakfast bagel for the road makes sitting in traffic % better!!

A great place people and food

We are living in a very competitive society. Let's face it most people can cook but not everyone has great service. I really felt welcomed. The atmosphere is amazing minimum noise. Perfect place to relax after hard day work, writing, reading or just chilling. Moreover the food is really good! Freshly baked bagels. Butcher chopped meat. I recommend this establishment.

WOW. If you're looking for an incredible bagel sandwich, you must RUN here ASAP. I'm not even exaggerating when I say that Sully's bagel sandwiches are DIVINE. What did I order, you ask? Well, I got the ham, egg, cheese sandwich AND the Neighborino! Honestly, you probably can't go wrong with anything here. Because my golly gee, both were fantastic, fresh, and flavorful. Tiny disclosure: because the sandwiches go through a steaming? process, they can be a TINY bit drippy, but it's so worth it. This place has mastered the art of warm, hearty, chewy bagel sandwiches. Also, I highly recommend you get the combo deal because they have Zapp's chips! And the unsweetened/sweet tea station had LEMON WEDGES. Just wow. Other noteworthy takeaways: there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, the restroom was sparkly clean, and the owner/manager was incredibly kind. I was going to write this glowing review regardless of the kind owner, but his super nice demeanor is why I'm writing this review earlier than I planned to. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy Sully's as much I did. There was a pretty long line when I visited. But not to worry, the orders are taken quickly and the food is prepared even faster! :)

Special K with a plain bagel.

The staff was very friendly, and everything in the pastry case looked amazing. Unfortunately, the dining area was somewhat dirty and disorganized. I realize that was probably a combination of customers not cleaning up after themselves and the staff being too busy to keep pace, but there was food smeared in several places, and we had to do quite a bit of cleaning before we could settle in. We really wanted to love this place, but we left disappointed overall. My croque monsieur was the clear standout--a genuine 10 out of 10. It was absolute perfection. Unfortunately, my wife's classic ham-and-cheese baguette was the exact opposite. The ham and cheese were excellent, but the baguette was blackened on the bottom and so tough that she couldn't bite through it. She eventually gave up and ate only the meat and cheese. A baguette should have a satisfying chew and a good crust, but it shouldn't require a battle. When you visit a French bakery, freshly baked bread should be one of the highlights. The turkey salad side was also unappealing. It contained a seasoning neither of us cared for, and the overall dish felt greasy and heavy. It needed some fruit, nuts, or another bright element to provide contrast and balance. The tomato soup served with my sandwich was perfectly decent, but it wasn't noticeably better than a good premade soup from the grocery store. We also tried a pear pastry, chocolate chip cookies, and another pastry roll. Nothing was bad, but nothing was particularly memorable, either. Everything was simply okay. We would be willing to give the bakery another chance and sample some different pastries. The bread used for my croque monsieur was outstanding, so I would gladly return for a loaf of that if it's available to purchase. Overall, however, the experience was good rather than memorable, and we don't feel any urgency to return. To those about to nosh, we salute you--and hope you don't break your jaw on an overcooked baguette!

Our server was friendly, attentive, and helped make the meal enjoyable from start to finish. The restaurant is known for its casual yet upscale ambiance, which definitely came through during our visit.  Where the experience fell a bit short for me was the food. Everything was prepared well and perfectly edible, but nothing really stood out or felt especially memorable. It wasn't bad by any means--just not quite at the same level as the atmosphere and service. I went for the lobster tail ravioli, and it was just a bit too chewy for my taste. I was hoping for a dish that would make me eager to come back, but that didn't happen on this visit. I could, however, come back. I would give it a second chance and would like to try drinks from the bar.  Overall, Torrence and Knox is a great spot for the ambiance, service, and overall dining experience. If you're looking for a comfortable place to meet friends, enjoy drinks, or have a relaxed night out, it's definitely worth a visit. I'd return for the atmosphere alone and would be interested to try more of the menu in the future.
