OK now I have been to this McDonald's a number of times. And today I ordered the sandwich that's basically three parts. The meat product, the condiment, and the cheese. Today as I always do I order my sandwich with cheese removed. The order taker said sandwich without cheese I said yes. At the second window delivery person said sandwich without cheese and I said yes. Now here is where it goes awry. I pull out of the drive through then slow down enough to check my bag and see that of course there is cheese on both sandwiches. Even though the label on the container specifically displays no American cheese. Well I kind of expect McDonald's to occasionally get my order wrong however today they proved they are the minimum wage earners of tomorrow. If you pay someone the minimum wage of course you get minimum-wage level of performance. I feel like a victim and her bed drama driving away from the drive-through and feeling completely dissatisfied. I will keep trying to train these folks how to put together a small sandwich. In this case one of the smaller sandwiches. Now for the real reason of being upset. When a customer asked for a product to be removed from the regular assembly there is normally a reason. In my case I am deathly allergic to cheese. So when you think it's insane that I remove the cheese, please do not consider it a favor to add the cheese back on. When allergic to a food product, it is vastly more expensive to ingest the food product than it is to just throw the sandwich in the trash. It took until 355 to get to the window, where I was told that the employees had decided to do breakfast early today. What an incompetent run place. I came through the drive-thru to pick up a quick dinner for my family. After I paid, my husband called asking if I would be able to add a happy meal for my toddler since she was then demanding for a specific food item. I explained that I paid but I would ask. I asked the girls at the pick up window, and even explained why I was asking. They were not sure, tried asking if it was okay, and then since they were not getting an answer, decided they were going to ring me out anyway. A supervisor, lady with glasses and gray/blonde hair came by, started questioning the girls, got upset at them and then practically chewed me out that I am not allowed to order at the pick up window because it will take too long with their rush. Let me explain that I understand--I worked at Starbucks for years and worked primarily in drive-thru. If anyone knows how stressful peak times are, it would be me. Not to mention, there was a reason I asked if this was okay in the first place. There are ways to explain things without being an absolute jerk to customers. If I am able to do so, if her regular employees can do so, so can this supervisor. The one star I am giving, are for the girls I spoke to, otherwise, I would give a zero-star rating. This McDonalds lost my family's business for awful customer treatment by this supervisor. To also add: the sandwich paper and tags were greasy. Disgusting! The McDonald's on 240th/108th in Kent is way better with quality and attitude. Maybe Covington Maple Valley needs to take a few pages out of their books. read more

This is the slowest McDonalds in the world. Every time I get stuck in that drive thru I yell "WHY DID I COME HERE???" Whoever is stuck in the car with me replies "I have no idea, but you say the same thing every time!!!" The food tastes pretty much like....ahhhh...McDonalds. If you can get that far. I've gone to McDonald's for 60 years. I remember when they had hand dipped malts that were great. I used to eat at one of the original locations in Downey. Dad would get dinner for four for about 3 bucks. The burgers have not changed much. I still have my usual 2 cheeseburgers, fries and ice tea. Some how when it gets to the window, invariably the wrong food. It is not limited to this location. We still go to other McDonalds almost daily for the cheap drinks, ice cream, value menu items and our various other favorite sandwiches salads, deserts and wraps. We have been going to this McDonalds for regularly for approximately 25 years. They used to be terrific especially for breakfast. Unfortunately this has now evolved into the worst McDonalds that we have ever been to. The problem is because of the attitude of their employees which is absolutely horrible. My guess is that the manager has absolutely no control over them at all! He should be used as an example to other McDonalds managers as an example of how not to do the job. Today gives a typical example of why we will not ever go back. We went through the drive thru and things seemed to be going OK until the young man handed me my ice cream cone. The ice cream barely went past the top of the cone. So I said told the young man that maybe he should give it another try. He came back a couple minutes later with an even smaller cone... I get cones at other McDonalds all the time and I had never seen anything like this. So I said, "Really??? Is that how you make a cone here these days?" He said with a smirk, "Have a nice day." and then he walked away from the window. We eat at various McDonalds frequently so we have a pretty good expectation of what we are going to receive. Do not go to this McDonald's it is very unsanitary. Their water heater broke on June 28 they had clean everything with cold water. When you are handling food you supposed to have hot water to sanitize everything. Their dishwasher have been broken for four months their refreshment dispenser has black mold. I'm surprised they're still open during those conditions that they had without no hot water. They better hope that no one got sick during that time because without hot water clean and sterilize everything people could get food poisoning. Be careful eating there it is unsanitary. Normally I love this McDonald's because the play area is cleaner then most until my family and I went there tonight, The slide in the play land had POOP in it, and we had to tell them Twice and all they did was send some one with a roll of paper towels and a squirt bottle! I went here after my daughter got a shot to get an ice cream. As I'm standing in line there is a kid running around the lobby in his socks "skating" around on the floor. I get up to order, I get an ice cream cone & Carmel sunday. When my order is up the cashier that makes them licks her fingers as she is handing me the cone where ice cream got on her, and laughs. As we are sitting there eating the kid is going back & forth between a couple of stools next to us & he tells me his mom is working, ok I didn't ask but whatever. Waited at least 5 minutes (real minutes, not customer minutes) for my order to be taken in an empty restaurant while the employees talked on the phone to another employee who was apparently calling off work. When I finally got my food I opened my milk that had already been opened and returned it with no problem. That's the only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 2. Tables appearing perfectly fine were closed by management limiting seating. There is also an Easter basket with plastic eggs in and around it with a sign asking people not to touch it. Hey, it's a McDonalds. No shocker here. My universal rating for a McDonald's is a rock hard 4/5, and yeah - I got you, you may have noticed that shining bright 5/5 stars up there. Sometimes McDonalds in some locations have their own special something. This one, is one of those. This McDonald's, located conveniently to everything in Seattle, is a true diamond in the rough. I can't praise them enough. If I'm the only guy ordering when no one else is around, I still get fresh food all the time. Of course, I eat unsalted. The best way to do it. The only good way. Rock hard. Solid. Smooth. Slick. Greasy. Something this special McD's isn't. And that's why when it comes down it, those savory cheeseburgers and perfectly crisp unsalted fries will eventually unite the world as one, causing global peace forever. Stay clear of this McDonald's chain if all possible! I went there because it was midnight and the only place open to grab a quick snack. Normally I would visit a grocery store but they were all closed. Needless to say, I ended up at a fast food joint. I ordered a burger and fries. The fat cashier told me it would be about a four minute wait for the fries. Ok fine. All a sudden, within one minute she was handing me my bag of food.
