Last night, we ordered two sandwiches for delivery, and both were made completely incorrectly. One sandwich was a Club Supreme, No. 9, ordered on rosemary gluten-free bread with absolutely no oil or vinegar because of food allergies. Those instructions were completely ignored. It came on regular bread, had only about two pieces of turkey, was overloaded with lettuce, and was covered in oil and vinegar. The second sandwich had an excessive amount of mayonnaise, and the bread was split and falling apart. What made this experience even worse was the response when I called the store. The employees seemed to find the situation funny. My safety and food allergies are not a joke. Ignoring clearly stated allergy instructions can have serious consequences. I have always been a loyal Jersey Mike's customer. I tip well and have made large donations during the company's fundraising promotions. Unfortunately, after receiving food that was not only poorly made but potentially unsafe, followed by such an unprofessional response from the store, I do not believe we will be returning. I had the chicken Philly regular size, it was exactly what I wanted. I've never had a traditional Philly so I dont have anything to compare it to but it was cheesy, and savory and with the added banana peppers it was perfect! I had a craving for a delicious sub sandwich today, and this was exactly what I was looking for. Delicious! I missed the name of the two employees working, but 2 thumbs up to them! It was one guy and one gal. I had ordered through the app, and arrived about 8 minutes before the ETA for my food, but I left happy and with my sub before the app's ETA. The staff pick their faces, I've seen them not change their gloves touch their hair, sweat dripping from their faces and fixing sandwiches. Jersey Mikes: I ordered through the app and ordered a Club Supreme. I get there and I told him I ordered online and paid for it. He pulls up the receipt from the register and realizes there is an order. He starts to make my sandwich and then another guy comes out from the office to assist, but the sandwich was almost complete. No complaints on the sandwich. Just weird they had 2 guys working and the sandwich wasn't complete and the store didn't look busy. My only real complaint is how unfriendly or no acknowledgement from the staff. Like when you walk in not even a hello or I'm sorry we missed that online order. I remember working at a fast food as a kid and they emphasized saying hello and saying bye and thank you. These workers are making 7 to 8 times what I was making and I always remembered that stuck with me. Anyhow either hire some more friendly peeps or train them to at least say Hello how are you today. When people ask for something, don't just "yeah", say sure, I can get that for you. Would you like you anything else. I did ask for extra condiments. If they need me to come train them I can. People just don't take pride in their work anymore and feel entitled to get paid for the least amount of work possible. They make pretty good sandwiches. Not your typical sandwich place, but more cooking involved due to the cheese steak sandwiches. I got the chipotle Philly cheese sandwich and it exceeded my expectations. It was pretty flavorful. Staff was nice too. read more

All I can say is they are Really, I mean REALLY proud of their sandwiches. Like a little guy in an enormous lifted truck. Their sandwiches are TINY. I ordered a regular and actually measured it when I got back to my truck. It was 6". No really. It was. They charged me full price for a mini sandwich. To be fair, the service was marginal but that must mean they are eating their own stale bread. The bread alone should be a worker's rights violation. It's just sad. I love subs. I eat them 3 or 4 times a week. And no, I am not talking subway. The good thing is that I don't have to go back. It's a free country. I'm really disappointed as I usually order 1-2times a week, but this week I was really not able to go to my usual location (Covington- The Best, I swear). I went here and the guys took my order and I asked for my cheese to be melted on my #55! I also asked to add Banana Peppers after the sandwich was finished. Well I got my sandwich and I am NOT happy! My sandwich looks like an all meat sandwich, and it tastes burnt, kind of hard on the meat, because they did not use water to steam the sandwich. I also did not get hardly any cheese. So it's like a weird texture and the bread is all slimy from having no cheese to support the meat and the heat from it. Very little process was taken in the making of this sandwich. I order Jersey Mikes so much, I could actually make the sandwich myself! So I'm just trying hard to not be dissatisfied but this is just not it. I will be asking for a refund in full. read more

I went to Jersey Mike's for my first time in California and loved the food, so I was stoked to see one so close to my house. Even though this first experience wasn't stellar, I'll be back - I need to try that Chicken Caesar Wrap... Decor: Like any other Jersey Mike's. Surfboards up on the wall, cool murals, etc. Service: Kind of... Off. We interacted with several employees because the employees kept asking somebody else to take over a certain task and would move on to another one... It kind of made it look like when somebody got tired of dealing with the register, or making a sandwich, that they would just stop in the middle of what they were doing and trade for something better. Seemed really unorganized and happened several times. We were asked to sign up for the reward program (we did) and that took forever. On top of that, the lady that took our order only wrote my boyfriend's sub order down but not mine, so we only got charged for his... Not sure if I stole a sub or if you get a free sub when you sign up for their rewards program. Who knows. Food: My boyfriend made the Buffalo Chicken Wrap into a sub and wasn't really a fan - the chicken was too stringy and they didn't ask him if he wanted it Mike's Way, so he ended up getting toppings that he didn't want. My roast beef and provolone was just okay... The roast beef is (sadly) kind of bland. Like I said, we'll be back... Thin slice of cheese, minimal amount of meat, and stringy lettuce-with bread that was bland and devoid of flavor. Really disappointing. I want to support Jersey Mikes at this location as it's much closer than going to the Covington location for pickup. Perhaps as this pandemic continues they will improve at this location. read more

Maan, I love Jersey Mike's sandwiches, but their customer service at the Kent location really sucks! I ordered a Reuben sandwich from the app. with specific instructions to add American cheese, lettuce and tomatoes and no sauerkraut. When I got home and opened up my hot sub. The first thing I saw was sauerkraut and NO cheese at all!! Needless to say I was disappointed, so I called to sort things out. Kyle answered the phone she was very rude and abrupt with me. Then she put some guy on the phone who seemed to be about as dumb as a bag of rocks" who was also rude. Honestly, I do enjoy their subs but if they cannot hire people who can be nice, courteous and know what it means to be in customer service. I will happily take my business elsewhere. Not sure where the disconnect is between this location and the Covington one. In Covington it's always super fast and friendly service even during peak hours. Yet come to the Kent location and it's the exact opposite. To start off I come in about 10 minutes after I order on the app and am left standing at the counter for approx. 2 minutes while the staff looked dazed and confused talking amongst themselves. Once the lady finally asked whether I was picking up or ordering, I stated that I was picking up and once she got done looking at the 3 bags on the counter, she states that, " so your actually 18 minutes early for your order" in a very snarky, f you kind of way. I was just put off considering you have 4 employees standing around and 1 reorganizing chips and only 3 order bags on the counter and not one person even had gloves on to start making the food. Guess I'll stick to the Covington and maple valley locations from now on from now on. read more

New location that just opened up recently near Trader Joe's. It still has that new decor scent to it. The first day grand opening was a success in my eyes. All their staff have been quite friendly and attentive. I've come back a couple of times since then and have had consistent service even during the most busiest time of lunch. Great chain sandwich shop that slices their deli meat fresh on the spot as they lay it on your sandwich. You have your choice of white or wheat bread in a small, regular, or family size. They also have wraps and can do tubs aka salads for those that are carb conscious. You can also have it Mike's way, which I highly advise doing. It consists of a vinegar mix topping with the works -- lettuce, onions, and tomato. You can request for pickles and jalapenos as extras. The only drawback is the prices. A regular sandwich is over $8 but worth it as they give you generous portions of meat. Also their Philly cheese steak is nothing to rave about. Great flavor but there's not enough meat in them. This is nothing against this location itself. It's quite consistent for any Jersey Mike's location. Oh.. and if you're going to be back several times, I advise signing up for their rewards card. It's easy to do online or in the store. You're rewarded with a free sandwich after a certain number of points. read more

We were visiting Trader Joe's next door when we decided to try Jersey Mike as we hadn't ever had it before. What a mistake. We would have been much happier trying other options in the shopping complex or even driving a few blocks over for a better meal. We entered this establishment with no greeting and there was only us and we proceeded to order 2 hot subs. Of course, that takes a little time, so we stood in the back facing the register so the servers would call us when our order was ready. By then, many other customers had arrived and were placing their order. We could see our orders being prepared, placed on the counter top and the person behind me ordered the same sub as me was given the sub that was actually part of my order! So I had to wait for another 10 mins for it to be ready again. But the issue is that my 2 subs were prepared before hand but one of them was given to the person behind me so I had to wait longer, when I was there before, placed my order before and yet my order wasn't fully ready. The employee who was running the registrar didn't seem to care or even notice and we literally had to go interject to pay for our order and say "these are my subs, can I please pay for it?" It was just so disorganized. On top of that, because it was in the middle of the day, we ate in our car. The sandwiches were so damn expensive, sloppy, lacked flavor, the bread of the buffalo chicken because it had sat there for reordering of my second order (Chipotle chicken) was super soggy. We ended up throwing away the sandwiches without eating it even half way. What a waste of our money, our time, our first time experience and overall feel. I will not be trying Jersey Mike again, here or any other location. You are better off going to other sub shops. read more

I've been to this Jersey Mike's about 2 times before and had less than stellar experiences and decided to go there today as we were heading out and had just finished shopping at Trader Joes. What a mistake! (Previous expereince involved being charged for things that were free based on buying the 'meal' and not just a sandwich.) I went in with my son and there was a gentleman ahead of us who ordered before we arrived. There were two women working and one was nice, the other was not. Not wanting to confuse them with our 3 sandwich orders I gave them to the woman who asked us our order one at a time. When I told her (mean lady) the first order (Philly cheesesteak) she asked for the next and I told her and included the toppings. She mumbled something about we'll do toppings later, just tell me the main part. Umm ok. I gave her the rest of our order. The nice woman was making up the food for the man who'd been ahead of us. By this time the mean lady was lining up our sandwiches and I could see the nice woman ringing something up. I figured she was ringing up the man ahead of us. There was no one in line behind us (this is important - read on). I don't like to pay for my food until it is ready to go and apparently this store wants to be paid, up front (see other reviews). I was told the man ahead of us was all set though he hadn't paid yet. The nice woman was wanting to ring us up but I wasn't done thinking if we'd be getting more chips or drinks. I let them know this and the mean lady told me I was being rude, which made no sense at all. I told her I wasn't being rude and the nice woman (trying to cover for her boss) said that is how they do things. I said I didn't want to pay before it was ready and the mean woman got all snippy so I put down on the counter what I'd intended on getting and said we were leaving. We won't be back and I kinda wonder if this store isn't a front for some kind of sketchy operation. I realize this sounds odd, but the two other times I've been in there the workers act like you're bothering them in there and they want you to take your food and leave so they can get back to whatever they were doing beforehand. Stopped by this place while my family dined at the cafe next door (which is also run by my family and I recommend) but I decided I wanted to try something new, and walked in with 6 dollars and a couple cents. Ordered the ham and provolone (#3) and added some lettuce. An incredibly simple sub. The simplicity of the order really accentuated the individual flavors of the fresh provolone and ham, which really helped me enjoy and appreciate each bite. The size was a mini, but in the end it was rather filling. For the price and what I got, very decent joint, would recommend. read more

A tail of two subs, on 09/09/2020 went to the lake meridian Jersey Mike's and enjoyed a great gaint sub. The quality and quantity were spot-on and the gal that made the sub did a super job. So, went back to the same location today (09/16). Hoping/expecting the same great food we had gotten prior. "WHAT A LET DOWN", the guys making the subs provided a really poor product that was just like something you would get from subway for half the price. I have been to other Jersey Mike's and been very happy. This one is frequently empty when I have arrived. I ordered the buffalo cheese chicken as a salad instead of a sandwich. It had very little lettuce and not much chicken. The bowl was half empty. The buffalo chicken had almost no spiciness. Every time I have been in this one they are training new people. We stood waiting to be helped while one employee was training two people. When sat at the table to eat, the table had not been wiped down and had grease on it. Not bad, but not great either. We went the the Jersey Mike's in Covington and the service and the food was way better. Not sure why the food was different since it is a national chain and should be consistent from one location to the other, but that was not the case here. As far as service, the staff here was not very friendly at all. It was very unorganized and the person making our subs stopped and started about three times. The service in Covington was way better! We'll go to Jersey Mikes again, but we'll drive the extra 4 minutes to go to Covington as opposed to this location. They must have different owners because it definitely shows in the service. read more

My boyfriend and I order delivery through uber eats yesterday. Two huge subs for 39 dollars. We were expecting HUGE and that is exactly what we got. He ordered the chipotle queso philly and I ordered the Italian sub. Both were delicious. We will definitely be back. Don't worry about not getting fully cause these sandwiches are HUGE.
