Yet another bad experience with McDonald's. I ordered a large iced macchiato with light ice. I get handed a small at the window. Pull around, go inside to ask if it was a large. The manager says no but you got light ice. I said I know that, I ordered a large. She went around the corner with the small and came back 2 minutes later with a medium. I was so mad about it I had to turn around and walk out. Also, the hot honey chicken biscuit and hash brown were not fresh and pretty much room temperature. Won't ever go back and suggest anyone reading this do the same. That's stealing in my opinion. The audacity of a manager to give me a small when I ordered a large and say it's because I got light ice is absolutely insane, THEN COMES BACK WITH A MEDIUM. There is a $2.20 up-charge for large. There's a McDonald's abuses the app to their own benefit. Yes I am accusing them of fraud. I placed my order in the app and got in the drive-through line when I arrived. I pull up to the squeak box and gave them my order number. They told me to pull around to the first window which I did. At this point I'm told I owe $1.07. I said I paid for it in the app so the little scam artist running the drive-through window fusses with his register and insists again that I need to pay despite having done so in the app. He refuses to get the manager to fix the situation. So I told him to cancel the order and drive off. When I'm checking my email later that night I discovered he had added food onto my order at the cash register. McDonald sent me a final message about my order. Now I will admit my card was only charge for the $1.07 that I authorized through the app. However he was clearly trying to get me to pay for food I didn't order. So I contacted McDonald's at which point this afternoon I got a call from the manager. Her name was Shannon. She apologized in a cold voice that lacked any emotion. She offered me free food but that wasn't the point. I turn down her free food because what I really wanted was this little rat to be fired and my card to be reimbursed. She told me she couldn't do that. She told me that I would have to file a complaint with my bank against her store to get my money back. She acted like I was confused about how the app works but clearly it is her store that is confused about how the app works. Do not use the app at this location. Just avoid this location completely. McDonald needs to shut this location down or find new management for it. Also letting the offending management handle the problem is not handling the problem. They need to have corporate call me in a situation this bad. read more

I ordered a sundae through the drive thru. The lady handed me a sundae that was only vanilla ice cream. We asked why it did not have the chocolate fudge on it. She said "you ordered a plain sundae" and proceeded to argue about it. She also did not give us a spoon. We ended up throwing it in the trash. My child was highly disappointed. read more

First they "lost" my order, actually they gave it to someone one else than took 20 minutes to figure out why I was still waiting for my order. They after I was asked what I needed I replied, "my order". They asked for my ticket and the asst mgr looked at the ticket then incompletely filled it. I had to ask her to check to see if she filled it correctly. She acted as if she couldn't be bothered with that so I asked her again. She begrudgingly checked to she did in fact miss something on the ticket. So after 22 minutes I finally had my breakfast biscuit platter. Ordered through the drive through today. I was several miles away before I took my first bite of burger. It just didn't taste right. After my second bite, I took the bun off and saw that the bottom was burnt. There's no way someone didn't notice this when putting it together. It was just a regular burger. There are a few reasonable 1 star reviews but most of them are from 1 item being out of stock/a long drive thru (again, this is MCDONALDS and they have a small location, there's only so much that can be done about it) and someone even claiming LEGAL FRAUD over a dollar? Let's first acknowledge this is a McDonald's and top notch anything is out the window. Now, I'm not trying to disparage McDonald's and obviously I've eaten from this location or I wouldn't be reviewing it but there are limits for what one can rate a Micky D's. So, why don't I give it 5 stars? If I had to nit pick, they've never been overly nice so I guess there's a knock, right? That being said, my food has always been hot, served quickly and I can't recall a time they got my order incorrect but even if they did, they'd fix it if I asked. I don't think I've ever dined in this location so I can't comment on that. Came in today with my kids to eat in the restaurant. Haven't been in since the remodel. They have new order for yourself kiosks; which I am a fan. Felt in control that my order had a better shot of being accurate. Fifteen minutes later, I asked the employees nicely for our food. Short staffed? Maybe. The reason for the 2 stars is the restaurant is now tiny! This place is chaotic and out of control. Made me uncomfortable and wanting to leave. It appears the designer of this store had drive thru in mind. Not a place to eat inside. They are lucky they don't have much competition. read more

This is awful. The wait in the drive-thru is insane and needs to be fixed immediately.

Unacceptable service. We ordered by the drive-thru. They added an entire meal to our order that we did not ask for, and they only gave us half the cost back when we told them about their mistake. They forgot our kids happy meal, which we had to go inside and get. No straws, no napkins in our bags. They got both of our cheeseburger meals wrong. And they forgot to stir the mocha. So for reference- I stopped here all the time before the new renovation. They've goofed a few times, but I had stopped here at least 50 or so times before the renovation with no problem. I order just about the same thing every time Large iced coffee with medium fries That's it. They used to do their job every time when I ordered it before the renovation, now I've ordered the same thing three times and they've managed to screw it up all three times. First time- got the iced coffee right but gave me iced fries too. Had they been sitting out all day? Second time- two large fries when I ordered one. Why?? I didn't even say "two orders of" or anything resembling the word "two." Third time- I have no idea what drink they gave me? It was a large... something? Part iced coffee but she forgot the cream and sugar, part... soft drink?? It fizzed And was definitely carbonated. No idea how you mess "large iced coffee" up that bad. At least by giving it 5 Stars I don't look like a nut job for saying, "the food is full of chemicals that are highly addictive and killing us...the burgers don't even get moldy after being left out for months!" Occasionally the frappes there are completely ice and impossible to drink. They continuously forget to put bacon on burgers that I've specifically asked for bacon on. Most of the workers there are probably high school kids that only need money and only care about getting a few extra dollars. This would actually be normal, this being a McDonalds, however, about once in every five times I've eaten there, the food is raw and I've had to throw it away. The first time I was busy driving and didn't notice that it was undercooked, so I still ate it. I spit the mushy, cold food out the window, but I was still sick for the next couple of days. If you want to take a chance at getting gross, undercooked food, go ahead and eat here. Otherwise, stop at the other McDonald's that's just down the road and next to 'West Forsyth High School.' If I could give it a negative star rating, I would. Old, dirty, rude and often inaccurate. This is on my route to and from work and almost every time I "give it one more shot" I am reminded as to why they are awful. Drive through pay window is always complaining about who works there and chatting it up with employees. Some employees don't speak english and so they get the orders wrong. Managers are rude. Ice cream machine is ALWAYS broken (for 3 years???). Crappy place. Can't believe it is still open! read more
