My husband got a buffalo chicken sandwich at 7:30pm. He woke up at 2:00am getting sick from both ends indicating food poisoning. the closest mc donalds to me. the worst customer service ive ever recieved first of all, idk who youre hiring but you need to step it up insanely because this is literally terrible, not a single bit of kindness or respect from ur workers and theyre literally SLOW in the head and physically. next, i ordered my food, not a huge order but I can understand if it took an extra 5 minutes ( 2 mc chickens, 2 10 count nuggets and 2 large fries) They pull me forwards with 3 other people pulled already and all of those people are served and about 10 more in the drive thru pass me. I waited 20 MINUTES for my food. i went inside, took 10 minutes for a single worker to walk to front counter , and then another 15 for them to FINALLY get my food. I was on the phone at this time explaining why it was taking so long to the person i was bringing it to, and one of the workers at this location who was clearly off the clock because he was going back and forth from behind your counter to the place where you wait for ur food and sitting there, walks by me and looks and me and throws his hands up and says "dont come here again", i said excuse me and he walked away. An older guy, with arm tattoos and a hat on with grey hair. THE FOOD WASNT EVEN GOOD. step this place up because i never leave reviews but this is insane. also they dont use gloves to touch ur food lol! read more

Alot of things could be alot better, for starters the food is whatever, the fries are mid you either get no salt,enough salt to kill a horse or you get some disgusting mutant fry that isn't cooked all the way. The nuggets are either the most mid thing you will every eat or a disgrace to the whole farm it came from. I am talking bones and cartridge in the chicken. The service is whatever, they don't know what they are doing and took so long to get me my code for a Colab they were doing. They were understaffed and you could see it Evernote though it was 1:00 in the afternoon on a Friday. There was quite a line up at the Togo drive. This McDonald's is always busy and my order has always been correct. Everyone working there is always really friendly. The food is always hot and fries are fresh. The store is kept clean and I have never once seen any of the workers standing around on their phones. Some of the workers really stand out and make the visit nicer. We read a few of the problematic reviews, but we definitely didn't see that today. We often go through the drive-thru, but went inside for breakfast. Everything was perfect! Our food was hot and great. The staff was strong and attentive. Communications with other staff and customers was excellent. The Owner/Manager, was on-site complementing employees and greeting customers, not to mention wiping down tables and window sills. Seems lots of people help to put this McDonald's back on track. read more

McDonald's - Nasty - Burgers Near Me - Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio

Worst drive-thru experience ever. We were passing through in a hurry to get somewhere and wanted a quick bite to eat. The person taking the order at our drive-thru screen was very unprofessional. The order of the person at the other screen kept showing up on our screen. We could audibly hear our order taker being frustrated through their headset, too. It took them several tries to eventually get our order correct on the screen, and it only took 20 or so minutes of trying to place a very simple order. I wondered I there were new people working there, but I'm assuming not. When we got our order, we immediately checked it, and surprise, surprise, they got our order wrong after all of the troubles we had ordering (giving a medium order of fries with my large meal). They did correct it as soon as I brought it to their attention. The replacement fries were warm, but everything else was cold, as if it had been sitting out since we first started ordering. No surprise. I know not to expect much at fast food restaurants, but they've got to do better than this if they're demanding and expecting $15 an hour for this service. I don't know how this store makes money, there should've been 10 orders completed at the drive through in the time we were there from start to finish. Highly dissatisfied. read more

Also, they did not run the fish promotion during lent, and they are not running the buy one breakfast sandwich and get one for a dollar promotion. If I could give a 0 I would... I pulled up and greeted the woman at the window, my boyfriend already knew what he wanted so he ordered. After he finished he said "there's going to be one more thing" and she repeated that in an annoyed voice twice, when he verified that I still hadn't decided what I wanted. then the woman over the intercom sighed in annoyance. We then just told her nevermind drove off. I have NEVER had anyone treat me like that before. I work in the customer service industry and people like her are the reason we get such a bad rep. I love McDonald's Coca-Cola. It tastes just a little bit better than any other Fountain Drinks. Because of this, I go to many McDonald's locally and during my travels. This one is one of the worst, even when compared to others that are located in lower-income areas. I don't know what it is, but whoever does hiring here over the last several years has no clue. The staff is not courteous and haven't a clue. The other day, I tried to order a happy meal for my son with a water bottle (which they offer), but the person couldn't figure out how to change the fountain drink to a water bottle. After several minutes I went inside. While ordering there, my change was 24 cents. The girl behind the counter said she had no nickels or dimes, so she asked if I was okay with 24 pennies instead. I must have had a wth look on my face because she looked incredulous when I said 'no thanks, I can wait for you to get some'. She then took several minutes to track down a 'manager' who said to just give me a quarter. There's a novel idea. Please note that it wasn't the quarter that was the issue and I honestly put it in the donation anyway, this was more about the principle that she insisted the only way to give me change was in TWENTY FOUR PENNIES. Visited on a Saturday around 12:15 pm. Both drive-thru lanes were about 5-6 cars deep so I decided to go inside to save time as I was running a little late for an event. When I got inside, there were 6 people standing at the counter waiting to order. There was only one cashier and she walked out from behind the register and announced to everyone that we had to order from the automated touch-screens behind us because "that's how we're doing it now". There were 2 screens to choose from and a group of 4 people went to use one of them so the rest of us lined up to use the second screen. I asked the lady "We can't order at the counter?" to which she replied "No". Meanwhile, 3-4 more people walked in and up to the counter. While the lady was showing the group of 4 how to place their orders, a young man stepped behind the counter and took the orders of all the people who had just walked in. So apparently we were lied to about being able to order at the counter as well as jumped in line by those who were allowed to do so. Eventually, I got my turn at the touchscreen and placed my order. Went to wait for the food and watched all the people who walked in after me get theirs first. Needless to say, I ended up being even later than I thought not to mention irritated at being lied to and then passed over in the queue. Guess I should have stayed in the drive-thru lane, although judging from other reviews I probably wouldn't have fared much better.... read more

This McDonalds has signs posted on the drive thru menu advertising buy 1 breakfast sandwich and get another for $1. Egg bacon & cheese biscuits are one of the sandwiches listed for this promotion. We went thru the drive thru & specifically said, "I'd like the 2 for 1 breakfast sandwich deal so give me 2 bacon egg and cheese biscuits & 2 hash browns". What we got was 2 egg & cheese biscuits, no bacon & we were charged full price for both sandwiches. I had to park the vehicle, take the food up to the inside counter & have the manager fix it. She was very nice & refunded the overcharge and got us a correct order. I thank her for that. I probably won't be back though because I don't need this kind of aggravation. read more

I've been to the new and improved layout twice now, and twice now its taken forever to get food. This time it took 15 minutes to get my food at 10pm at night. To boot, they put my large sweet tea in a cup with a hole in the bottom. Made a huge mess on me and the car. On Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 8PM, I pulled into the drive-thru. After I gave my order, I wasn't told which window to pull up to. So I pulled up to first window and waited a minute. No one was there, so I went to the second window. And no one was at the second window, either. Finally after a few minutes, I saw a McDonald's employee in my rear view window frantically motioning for me to back up to the first window. After paying for my order, I didn't receive a receipt. After returning to the second window, I was told to move forward to another spot to wait for my order. There was no one else in front of me, so I don't know why there was a delay for my two burger order. A few minutes later, another vehicle pulled in behind me and they were also told to pull up. Then after waiting 15 minutes for my order, I finally saw an employee bring out some food -- to the OTHER vehicle. I waited some more and realized that I wasn't going to get my order. No food, no refund, no apology. So I drove off. This is no way to run a business. read more

I went through the drive thru and pulled around to pay. There was a young lady standing there talking to a man with her back to me. I sat there for minute, she would not turn around. I decided to pull up to the next window and sat there for minute. I finally pulled away. I also had an experience last week also. My daughter and I went thru the drive thru for some french fries. They were making them fresh so we pulled over to wait. Fifteen minutes later I walked in to the restaurant , the workers had no clue I had been waiting. The new McDonalds is much improved over the old one at the same site. The drive thru now has two ordering lanes. This really helps out during rush times. The whole parking/traffic situation has been addressed and getting in and out is much easier. This was an issue at the old location. read more

Really bad customer service. No smiles no positive attitudes. Kid in the grill area bluntly ignored the cashier when she asked for a side of Mac sauce after rolling his eyes so she had to have the other side do it. Then got an attitude becuz I asked for another side when I clearly asked for two in the beginning. I offered to pay for them and everything. And this bullshit where u have to buy a Big Mac to get the sauce is pissing me off. And it's only with the Akron locations. The Youngstown locations and Cleveland ones are not like that it's bullshit. If I want mac sauce for my fries and I pay the .30 for it there shouldn't be a problem.
