I was on my way to an event last weekend. I went through the drive through for a quick breakfast. I just got a caramel frappe and a sausage biscuit with a hash brown. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. This is one of the many reasons why I like this spot. Their lunch and dinner is also very good, but the breakfast is great. Against my better judgment, I made the mistake of stopping by the Cynthiana McDonald's again. Honestly it's been a couple months or longer but nothing new, super slow as usual. I sat behind the car in front of me for 5 minutes waiting for them to get their order. I'm still waiting for my order and they had me pull forward to the 3rd window. (This is a ploy to help their window time). I sat watching several cars receive their order and drive around me. In their defense it was a complex order, a quarter pounder w/ cheese, med. fry and a cup of ice. Wow! No straw in the bag. I guess I should bring my own. Cynthiana has several burger choices so save yourself some time and try any of the others unless you enjoy sitting in a drive-thru. read more

Every time we go here it's awful anymore. Fries are blond and cold, sandwich is cold, and all this after a wait where you would think the food would be hot. All this at ever higher and higher prices. The stores painted black now on top of everything else so it just looks depressing lol I will never spend another cent of my money or second of my time at this pitiful excuse of an establishment. After a very long drive to Kentucky, a short night of sleep, and a quick breakfast of delicious hard-boiled duck eggs, we found ourselves here for some reason. My husband was still hungry so he wanted to stop and pick up a meal. I just got a coffee drink. Yet, this place really stuck out to me. There are four reasons I like this location: - The staff is comprised of older men & women, not pimply-faced teenagers that couldn't care less about who you are or what you ordered. - They take your order by name and call your name when its ready! It kind of gives your experience a bit more class than the usual American McDonalds locations. - They have a Redbox! Probably the only Redbox in town! - Most of the customers were smiling, pleasant faces. Some of them were probably farmers. They all oozed an aura of small-town community. I can't quite put my finger on it. I don't know how often we'll be back, but it's good to know what it's like here. read more

if you've never REALLY been underwhelmed by McDonalds prepared to be amazed by this one. Fast food isn't magic- but this place makes it seem like a miracle if your order is EVER correct, the service is timely, and any of the employees are over the age of 12. I have never had an order be filled at the window. I ALWAYS have to pull up and wait to have them bring it out. Its always some teenager who bumbles around the parking lot taking my order to all the different cars that are waiting - before they get to me. When I open the bag, the order is wrong. It's become a running joke at my house. Lol read more

Waited 45 minuets and had to complain twice to get my food. All I got was a McFlurry a cheese burger and some fires. The McFlurry was nasty and the food was cold. I don't recommend coming here. read more

The McDonald's in Cynthiana, KY leaves much to be desired. Last week after being directed to park to wait on my order they brought out the wrong order 3 times. I was waiting over 30 minutes before I finally got the right order. This morning I sat behind a car 20 minutes in the line to order. When I got up to the window they first tried to give me a tray of drinks that weren't mine and then when we got home my granddaughter had a hamburger instead of nuggets in her happy meal. The other day I went through the line and ordered a Sprite after I pulled away and had a taste it was water. I went back through the line and was told they were out of Sprite at the drive thru. So why didn't they tell me this and give me a chance to change my order rather than just giving me water. The girl said she would have to go out to the diningroom for the Sprite and wanted me to pull forward which I refused to do. The service over the last few months has went from a 7 to a 2. They spend thousands of dollars to remodel and can't get their act together inside. It's a shame. read more

Run-of-the-mill McD's. It's a regular place for locals due to availability of restaurants. You'll find the drive-thru is backed up pretty often. I enjoy McD's from once in awhile for the occasional Big Mac, McNuggets, breakfast burrito, Big Breakfast w/ hotcakes or fries and they're generally what you expect. read more

This mcdonalds sucks!!! this is the third time we have gotten sloppy food incorrect orders and medium fries that look like there for a happy meal, plus all the workers are rude and nasty by touching money then touching your food without gloves!!!!!!!!!! they have got to be the worst place to eat of all time, they need to close it down or replace there staff ASAP.
